Wow.  Honesty in Hollywood.  Who knew?

Hey, HNC, what the heck is it with Hollywood lately ?? Can't they come up with some original material anymore or are we going to be stuck with remakes and continuations??

I mean..... seriously ?? True Grit ?? NOBODY can even parallel The Duke !!

I know what ya mean, Thor, but to be fair, the Coen Bros. are sticking strictly to the book, which I am actually planning on reading the next couple of weeks.

But granted, aside from "Cowboys vs. Aliens," (seriously, go watch the trailer....90 secons of pure awesome) there isn't a whole slew of original material coming out of here lately.

We need a Cowboys  vs Muslims movie, albeit I doubt that it could EVER be "politically correct".........

HNC, I slept through Tron every time I tried to watch it. It paralleled 2001, A Space Odyssey.  Seriously, have most of the writers lost their imaginations?? Hell, the last GOOD Sci-Fi movie (it was a series) that I watched was "Taken". (NOT "Taken", the movie)  And Lord, please don't get me started on the "SyFy" channel..... It should be more aptly named, the "B" Movie Channel now. Between those and their pseudo-reality shows, they've pretty much lost my viewership. Ohhh, and tell those idiot producers to quit with the ****ING "reality" shows already!!! I don't care if some fat **** lost weight, who's going to date some has been rock & roll star, or who can stab someone else in the back and make do on some remote island, etc, etc, etc.

Ummm, yep........you guessed right. Hell, if I want to watch TV, I want my mind to have to work. I don't care for all of the mindless pablum that's being  published on the TV. Hell, they have National Enquirer & TV Guide for that.

Well, that's just another dead, useless channel that wasn't being used anyway.

Since Thor brought up the TV issue, I HATE ****ing TV.

You've got 8.5 minutes of commercials interrupted by 3 minutes of program.

**** that.

Remember when cable TV channels didn't have commercials or if they did, it was between shows ?? Fox news is the worst in the morning 5 minutes of news, 5 minutes of commercials. I often find myself on CNN, Headline News or , gasp, MSNBC. Of course, when the Three Stooges come on AMC, I switch to them.
