Why did so many people vote for Barack Obama two years ago??

And why are so many against him now? What changed?

Of course, there is a big difference between campaigning and governing. But why did so many supporters desert this new President? Hasn't he done a very good job under the circumstances?

What were the expectations? Did they expect him to be an FDR progressive? Or were they disappointed by his pragmatic, bi-partisan style?

How was he able to get so many different groups behind him? The young, the old, the independents, the moderates - gave him an over-whelming victory in November 2008. What has changed since then?

The Kentuck Dumor's stupid is showing again. (Does it ever hid?)

:lmao: I'm not even going to attempt to explain the changes, and situations he has put us in. You fine ladies and gents know the score.

Well, the mass DUmor is right, but I suspect we agree on his point for different reasons

PS: I have always kind of wondered, but never bucked up the courage to ask. What does "nt" mean? Nice try or something else? It's like I see it every other post in DUmmy Land.

"NT" is put in the text section of a post, when one doesn't have much more to say than what is in the post's title.  It means "no text."

40. I also think it was a MSM love affair, the dregs of 8 years of Bush, the
idea of significant change and IMO a rock star personality. I'm hoping over the next two years things might change.

The DUmmies knee jerk reaction will be to say that he caved to the right.  In essence he wasn't Socialist enough.

Given some time to put thought into their answer...the DUmmies will simply say that it was Bush's fault.

What were the expectations? Did they expect him to be an FDR progressive? Or were they disappointed by his pragmatic, bi-partisan style?

Extra-strength delusion.  Apparently to these miscreants, bipartisanship equates to "I'm right, you're wrong, and we're going to ignore your input while we discuss everything behind closed-doors and, when it comes up for a vote, we're going to jump through legislative hoops to nullify your vote and ignore the will of the people in the process."

Also, I'm relatively certain that pragmatic doesn't mean what they think it means (to them it just sounds "hip").  Or else they're just one fry short of a happy-meal.  OH noes!!, that's right, they want to ban happy-meals.
Where'd I go wrong? /sarc
