My Honda 2002 SE has been recalled

such the pile of shit going on here! I heard about this about a week ago and I called up the dealer I bought said car from. They said they'd call me back in a "few minutes".

I never got that call.

Finally I called up Honda's corporate office and found out that the inflatable air bag on the driver's side has indeed been recalled.

They claim they sent me a letter. I never got a letter!

They told me the repair would take 1/2 a day to do. No wonder the dealer I bought the car from never bothered to call me back re: this serious problem! It will cost them time and bucks, something they don't care to spend on someone like me that owns an older car!

**** THEM. Will be calling them on Monday to have the expensive part ordered, etc.

I suggest that others that own older Honda's do the same - do not wait for the damn letter that was never sent!

3. my dealer is an asswhole

I really hate this dealership. Bunch of damned liars they are. They were trying to talk me into some super tune-up.

The car has 20,000 miles on it btw and has been serviced every 3,000 miles.

Wait a minute.  An 8 year old car with 20K miles on it?  Are you the little old lady that only drives it to church on Sundays?

8. I don't know

Shit happens, maybe they forgot. Maybe your letter was sent to the previous owner on accident. The dealer doesn't send out recall letters.

9. I am the original owner

and I was living where I now live when I bought the car. Nothing has changed. Nothing.

12. Buy youself a damn ford and quit worrying about asshole car companies

I have a recall on my 98 that I've never gotten around to having done yet and they send me a letter at least every other month reminding me that I need to bring my f150 in.

Waiting to sue Ford for the failure when it happens?  Good idea, buy a Ford, not a Government Motors car.

Geez DUmmie, take your car somewhere else. You do realize that you can have your car serviced anywhere? Are DUmmies really this stupid?

DUmmy CountAllVotes isn't just a very poor liar, he's also so stupid he thinks the dealer eats the cost of recall repairs! That is an amazing level of DUmb, even for a deadbeat democrat.

These DUmmies are so freaking helpless.  I suppose he's waiting for a damned gold-plated tow truck to come pick up his 2002 Honda with 20K miles on it (**cough** bullsh* **cough**), fix the airbag, and deliver it back to him.

But seriously folks, he's a DUmmie so his head is so full of hot air already, he doesn't need an airbag to protect him.

lol...I've R&R'ed airbags in Honda's...takes about ten minutes.   and dealers get paid for recall work...at a cut rate.

Yep. There's nothing in there to hurt.
