No shit.  I mean, it's not like I do anything outrageous.  I just sit at the bar, minding my own business, licking my eyebrows...

Prime rib?  Pfft.  The days of the all-you-can-eat $7.77 buffet are long gone.  Christ, the BREAKFAST buffet was nearly $20.

Reno's not too much better. Mrs. E and I went out to eat at a brunch with a friend and her guy friend. A couple hundred bucks later, we sailed outta there with the wallet a lot emptier than it had been.

(The babes had champagne, though, for $60 a bottle. Oh, wait. That wasn't French "champagne". That was some kinda Cold Duck or some such.  :rotf: )

Yeah, I hear ya--if you're not getting "comped" for the beer while you're playing, it was $6 a bottle for the domestic stuff.

They had a "special" on Bud products during the SB at TI.  5 for $20...whoo-hoo...what a bargain.

There are still some great deals on meals in Vegas.

Some are two for one deals that require a companion. Two of us had lunch yesterday for $8.99.

Many times, I eat for free.

Most of the deals are not on the strip during a busy weekend. Was the $20 buffet really good? I bet it was......

Define "win".

Did you win any money, above and beyond what you started with?

How did your friends do with the Super Bowl bets you placed for them?

No, but I came back with money I had otherwise not expected to have.  Call it a budgeting win.

And they sucked ass on their SB bets.
