Yum...

Real bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled and mixed in with grits.

I'm hungry!

Oh, that sounds so good.  My mom made garlic cheese grits the other night and was bragging about it to me (that's not nice!  :bawl: )  I'm going to have to make that now, and include the bacon. :yum:

Never visit them again.

They are trying to corrupt your bacon purity!

Yes, yes they are.  My father is just going to have to learn that not everything in the pantry and fridge should be "healthy" items.   :fuelfire: It's bad enough the fridge is only stocked with diet sodas (although Diet Rite sodas aren't bad).  Don't get me started on the beer that's in there.  :mental:

Ask your mom for the recipe.  That sound deelish!

For all concerned a hit through the porkfat4us has been issued on the turkey crap being mentioned..............how anyone would ruin a bacon thread by mentioning crap bacon is just..................

Had cornish game hens tonight, baked with a slice of bacon on each. The bacon managed to be crisp and chewey, delish. And the flavor went all through the chicken breast. Have to give SR credit. He's the best making those game hens. Yum!

Polls are closed?

Damn. My vote's for chewy - but extra thick cut. The thick cut keeps those flash-in-the-pan types on their toes.  :-)
