Hey, when I come across ignorance that strong, I feel I should address it.
I recall a few years ago, a DU thread implying that this site (Or possibly conservativeunderground, I forget which) doesn't intellectually refute anything they say, but just insult them and call them names like DUmmies. The thread in question then used that to imply that their positions are intellectually right. Ever since then, I have often felt the need to provide actual refutations to their idiocy, so that others can see not just that the DUmmies' posts are full of crap, but more importantly, WHY they are full of crap.

There seem to be a Hell of a lot of black motorists still running around, unprofiled and unarrested.  Ditto for drunk drivers, homeless people, vets in need of medical care, and people on drugs, all of which have received LOTS of government attention over the years.

We were just about to leave to visit a sick friend. I was sitting here reading DU, and he announced--after we'd been talking about the possible repercussions from the pardon of Arpaio--that he thought we ought to get an automatic weapon, maybe an AK-47. I posted in shock--my husband is totally anti-gun--and then had to leave. I should have held that thought and posted more fully when we got back.

I'm really not a drama queen, and I'm sorry I behaved like one.

I am worried sick, but not because I'm afraid of my husband.

I am imagining this idiot strapping on the ***** hat and getting ready to fight the fascists only to find out his "automatic" weapon is actually semi-automatic and he doesn't understand how a trigger works.
