I'm not sure what that has to do with the free market. It's got nothing to do with economics. Besides, liberals always skew data to reflect what they want to believe. Even the US government stats show high ownership equals less crime as do several (liberal) university studies. Right now in liberal publications all you see is stats that say high gun ownership means higher crime. Truth is hard for the left.
I was trying to get through to a liberal friend on FB yesterday who posted some leftwing article about what a lie it was that conceal/carry makes incidents like this less likely to happen. Besides the fact that most students who go there respect UCC's gun free zone policy, proximity matters. If those carrying are several buildings away, you can't proclaim conceal/carry doesn't matter. Someone(s) in Snyder Hall would've had to be armed for this to be remotely true. Had Chris Mintz been carrying, he damn well wouldn't have gotten shot 7 times and there would've been less carnage. Same with anyone in that classroom. You can only argue it's ineffective if there were people with guns who refused to engage the shooter out of fear or whatever. I wouldn't be surprised to see more students carrying now, well, except the lumberjack lesbians who've invaded Drain and attend UCC. We may not be Yale graduates here, but we have common sense.
PS DUmmies, the people in Douglas Country do NOT want 0bama here and the families especially so. They have no desire to be used as political pawns while they're grieving. I'm sure he'll find a few people to stand on the podium with him all hand wringing and whiny about too many guns. Of course, 0bama has the compassion of a hungry cobra and the tact of an Islamic terrorist. His agenda is more important that the wishes of the people who live here. He could wait but he'd rather lecture us while our emotional and physical wounds are still raw. He simply doesn't give a rip about anyone, including you guys. If he can use you he will, otherwise, you're nothing.
