2. Move some of the power dynamic from employers to the employee.

Ever since RayGunomics the employers have steadily been given all
the power with government's blessing while the workers are oppressed.

Sure, after taking risks, subjecting themselves to heavy taxes and regulations the person that takes an hour and a half lunch needs more power.

The wealthy and corps play. Kill off the globalization game they are using to pit countries and people against each other. Create unified international tax rates treaty and HEAVY trade tariffs for those countries that don't play along

10. 11. Criminalize union busting nationwide

11a. Bring up CEOs and entire executive boards who encourage union busting and/or intimidate workers into submission on RICO charges and running a continious criminal enterprise.

12. Enact a constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right for workers to organize. This way, the so-called "right to work" states would have to allow workers to organize. In other words, every state will be a right to organize state.

Is that you Mao?

Top 10 Solutions to Cut Poverty and Grow the Middle Class

It's not only possible for America to cut poverty, it's possible for us to cut poverty dramatically.

1) Create jobs.

Gotta start with setting up the environment that allows people to create jobs, dummie. Seems obumbles laser like focus only works on the golf course and closing down power plants.

Now to finish the rest of the list:

2. Cut welfare off for those that do not want to work or better themselves
3. Get rid of medicaid. Send the deadbeats to VA, take the money saved and give it to the military folks so they can get decent healthcare.
4.  Reform the criminal justice system and enact policies that support successful re-entry.

I do agree with the dummie on number 4. Too many kids, with kids being defined as 18-24, get busted with some weed and get a felony on their record. Daggone hard to get a job with a felony on your record nowadays. Rehab works better for the druggies that can be salvaged. For the ones that can't? Well send them to the VA. Problem solved.

I really dislike the VA.

Wow.  If I was a business owner, I sure wouldn't want these commies working for me.
Workers today don't want a job.....they want adoption.

I had workers that thought once they went to work for me that I had taken them to raise. You were supposed to take care of all their personal problems for them.

Who came up with this stupidity?

Quote from:
Rebecca Vallas is the Associate Director of the Poverty to Prosperity Program at the Center for American Progress.

Melissa Boteach is the Vice President of Half in Ten at the Center for American Progress Action Fund and the Poverty to Prosperity Program at the Center for American Progress.

And this is what their "think tanks" come up with. Ask them how they're going to pay for it all and you get the same answer; tax the rich (code word for 'raise everybody's taxes') and tax corporations (code word for 'raise everybody's taxes').

2. Move some of the power dynamic from employers to the employee.

Love that DUmmyspeak!

Here's how things are in the real world, DUmbass.

I'm the employer. I have the power to hire you and fire you. That power comes from my initiative, my desire to own my business, my recognition of the necessity of having employees (including the number and type), and my willingness to take all the risk of owning a business in our playing-favorites Keynesian economy.

You're the employee. You have the power to apply for any job you want, to accept my offer of employment, to work for a wage that you agree to, and to quit anytime. You can apply for jobs with competitors without my knowledge, quit without notice, steal property and information from me, sabotage my business, or deliberately perform so poorly that you damage my bottom line - possibly to the point of destroying my business.

My risk in trusting you enough to hire you is greater than your risk in trusting me enough to go to work for me. The worst thing I can do to you is fire you, and you can apply for another job. The worst thing you can do to me is destroy my business, which may take my life savings, retirement, and my children's inheritance with it.

SO... If you want more of the "power" than you already have, be prepared to assume some of the risk- or start your own business and learn for yourself what I'm talking about. 'Cuz there ain't no such thing as a free lunch, bitch.

I don't think the McD robots will require any breaks, show up late (or not at all) go on strike, demand higher wages, or the right to unionize.

Although I'm sure there is some liberal group out there that will try to organize and pass laws for robot equal rights.

A whole lot of mental masturbation going on at the DUmp.

That's all it ever is with the little Trotskys.   Over and over and over....

What is this, the 17,000th post like this?    :thatsright:

A fake economy, boogered-up unemployment numbers and selective accounting of price increases for sham inflation numbers.

Funny how they don't like the Swiss anymore, who have shot down half the fantasies on their ongoing list of the same shit repeated endlessly, in the last year.

Top 10 Solutions to Technically Cut Poverty and Grow Gut the Middle Class

Fixed it for ya, DUmmie.

Every one of those involves expenditures of large amounts of tax revenue, excusing large numbers of lower-middle income people from contributing to the Federal revenue stream and/or giving them extra dough on top of that, or both.  None of them involve improving the actual economy that generates the household incomes  of anyone.  If implemented, the only way it would reduce poverty would be by holding the technical poverty line where it is now, and the simple fact that everyone would be getting paid in dollars that are worth about the equivalent of thirty cents in today's money would move a lot of them above it.

I went to the stupid Bill Moyers link and I couldn't get through the first one about creating jobs:
Quote
To kick-start job growth now, the federal government should invest in our infrastructure by rebuilding our bridges, railways, roads, ports, schools and libraries, neighborhood parks and abandoned housing; expanding broadband; develop renewable energy sources; and make other commonsense investments that create jobs and boost our national economy.

Didn't Barry already fix all of those things with his 800 billion dollar stimulus plan back in 2009?

They weren't quite shovel ready at the time so Barry gave most of that money to his donors and cronies.  Everything that the liberals want to do costs money and increases in taxes or the debt/deficit.  They can't fathom that cutting taxes increases jobs, investments and in the end tax revenues.

The minimum wage should be increased every time the cost of goods and services does. Until it catches up anyway.

And also doesn't know what 'Right to work' means.  Unions are perfectly legal and many exist in those awful RTW states, they just can't make people join them or collect money from employees involuntarily.
