Just Google" Lady Freedom Returns conservative cave" and you will find this.

What did I do to them? Why are they out to hurt me????

Now, everybody knows how it goes.

She's going to allege herself a "victim" of.....something.

We're just spectators here, like people watching television.

If LFR gets hurt, it will most likely be self-inflicted.

I'm picturing some sort of awful spelling or punctuation accident.  She should be more careful.

They always claim to have gotten a "better" job after getting wallduded.

(Other than the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive, who's remarkably honest.)

So this fishy primitive is the primitive formerly known as "walldude".

I wonder why he gave up that screen-name; he got a lot of fame from it.

You know, I'm really tired of the primitives finding us, and it being a rude shock to them.

Here, they blab and blab and blab, thinking nobody's listening, other their fellow primitives on Skins's island.

The whole internet's watching the primitives; it's a very public forum.

And they don't know that??????
Title: Re: she discovers us (Amber Alert! Amber Alert! Amber Alert!)

I've said this many times before, but the primitives don't pay attention to franksolich; don't even know I exist.

Skins's island is a public forum; if the primitives think the DUmpster is the only audience they have, well, the primitives are wrong.  Sorely wrong.  Couldn't be wronger.

That's why one should be careful about what one says on Skins's island.

But.....sigh.....the primitives don't listen to franksolich.

I've oftentimes equated the primitives with people who go into a bathroom to squat on the commode but don't lock the door.....and then act all insulted and bent out of shape when someone walks in on them.

Certain things should be done--or said--only behind locked doors.

Stupid primitives.

I'll bet that when she was at the hostile hospitality place interviewing today circa 11 a.m. central time (10 a.m. in Tucson), they inquired of her internet usage, and she gave them her screen-name.

After which they googled it.

That's probably how this lumpendumkoftchen found out; she wouldn've have ever thought of it on her own.

Well, geezuz.

Usually we have circa 20-30 primitives lurking here.

Some minutes ago, there were 99.

And nearly all of them, according to the "users online" thingamajig (available to members too; it's not supersecret, like on Skins's island), reading her soap opera, all those other Amber campfires.

I've been on several different forums over the years and I heard about the DU eons ago.  Dummie Funnies has been covering them for years and I've even heard their posts read over the radio.

I'm of course most worried about the loss of good comedy material for the DUmpster, for which the convenience store primitive's been a prime supplier.

I'd assumed she was long ago aware--after all, the DUmpster's been covering her soap opera since shortly after the tornado (which 0bama didn't care about) struck Joplin some years ago.  There's lots and lots of Amber material here.

I'd assumed she was aware, but just didn't care.

Well, apparently she wasn't aware, and so now she's going to clam up, depriving decent and civilized people harmless amusement and diversion.

It's like how the sparkling old dude used to comment with wild and reckless abandon, giving our old home and the DUmpster much rich material.  He didn't know about us for the longest time, and it was great.

But then after he commented how his trophy wife makes him use the bathroom in the basement (of, apparently, a four-bathroom home) because she doesn't like him stinking up the good bathrooms, he discovered us, and alas became less uninhibited, less unrestrained, less funny.

And another thing, AMBER: your CHOICE to be homeless puts people at risk because they may NEED services whereas you simply WANT them. This whole brouhuahua she's making is silly, accusing us of trying to "hurt" her.

It's like watching the subway cat, the undergroundpanther primitive, piercing herself though of holes, cutting off her body parts, and ingesting pharmacies of drugs, screaming, "the filthy capitalist pigs and fundies are killing me!!"

Same thing, same nonsense, same misdirected anger.

Hey, thanks for finding that and bringing it here.

I didn't bother reading the two campfires in their entirety, being much more preoccupied with the fate of the brain-damaged primitive and the interpretation of Big Bertha's dream.

The pie-and-jam primitive, who's gotten plenty of jollies out of slandering Ann Romney and George Zimmerman, can kiss franksolich's Nebraska Sandhills Republican ass.

We haven't slandered a damn primitive here; all we do is quote.

I just thought of something.

Her loving caring sisters Crystal and Annette (?) have also been quoted here, in regards to the convenience store primitive.

One wonders what they're going to say, when they find out their sister back-stabbed them.

But.....but.....but I still think it's best for her to go back home to Joplin, to their loving caring embraces, rather than hanging around Tucson hoping to re-unite with a guy who doesn't want anything to do with her.

Someone may have tipped off PayPal to require documents she doesn't have.

I think someone else may have contacted Crystal Naydean to let her know about the cash Amber was hiding.

And, oh yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if some malicious person had sent a bunch of links to the hostile.

That would be mean, so hopefully it didn't happen.

Personally, I think the likely culprit in hurting Amber is nutcase nadin. Amber is a clear and present danger to nadin's prominence at the DUmp. I think nadin Wellstoned Amber.

At any rate, let's hope that Amber continues to keep the DUmp up-to-date on her Arizona adventure.

Gosh.

If you're reading this, Amber, I would suggest that you actually read the threads about you. The very last thing that we've been doing is desiring your harm - we have been predicting it because of your behaviour, we have even been giving advice on how you could actually recover...when you took the opposite path, that was neither our intention nor desired result.

Good advice.  She may not be totally happy there, but she had/has the opportunity for a roof over her head rather than a 'possible' at the 'Sally', she might even be able to get her job back at the convenient store, and the sisters can provide supervision.

You know Amber dear, I know you're reading this, and so I'm going to wax autobiographical for a moment, as I, franksolich, have in the past pretty much done what you just did, and more than once.

When I graduated from college, I moved from Nebraska to Pennsylvania, with very little money and no job waiting for me.  I had a good job in Nebraska, but wanted more so than a job, to live in Pennsylvania.

I was young and green in judgement; my family was from that state, but I was born and raised in Nebraska, and despite that my family loved Nebraska so much they insisted upon being buried here, all of them, I had this idea that Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey was where it was at, and I wanted to be where it was at.

Others thought I was nuts; here, I was leaving a state with 3% unemployment, for a state with double-digit unemployment, and no home, no job, waiting for me at the other end.  I applied at a firm in Pittsburgh, another in Harrisburg, and on the third day, a place in Allentown.  I was employed before the first week there was even over.

(Before leaving Nebraska, an old guy had taught me a trick--"don't say 'I want a job;' say 'I want to work.'"

Damn.  I can't tell you how good that advice was.)

Some years later, because I was curious about what was going on, and wanted some excitement, I quit a good job in Lincoln and headed over to the socialist paradises of the workers and peasants.  No one "sponsored" me; I went there on my own dime......which wasn't a whole lot, it was exactly $184.

Having no family any longer, and as none of my friends had been enthusiastic about the enterprise, if I were to get into some sort of trouble, no one could bail me out but me.  I knew not the language(s), but that was probably unimportant, because I was born deaf.

It was great, and it lasted almost two years.  I was as free as a bird, dependent upon no one, making my own way, paying my own way, doing my own thing.

And then a few years later, about the time my fellow alum Skins was founding Skins's island, I got tired of living in crowded, congested Omaha.  One night, a friend advised me, "why don't you come up here--it's not the Sandhills, where you belong, but it's at least the edge of the Sandhills."

I said there probably wasn't anything up here, given the sparse population and that I didn't know anybody (but him).

He replied, "You'll find it; you're always finding things that nobody else sees."

And the rest is history.

You, Amber dear, took what should've been a growing experience, an enriching experience, and metamorphosized it into a grotesque soap opera.  You had a golden opportunity, and you blew it.  Time to go back home to Joplin, setttle down, and accept your fate.

Just Google" Lady Freedom Returns conservative cave" and you will find this.

What did I do to them? Why are they out to hurt me????

Amber, your sister's in Joplin love you.  They tried to help you.  All you want is to be catered to.  You moved to a place where you have no friends and no prospects, seemingly to stalk an old boyfriend.  That, is why you are worthy of the ridicule we have heaped on you.

You could have been walking around to the local fast food joints and found a job or two.  That would pay enough for you to rent a room.  Then you could start looking for work and improving your situation.  Instead you whine that services for people who have nothing and no one, unlike you, aren't catered three star affairs with room service.

What has DU told you?  That you are somehow a victim.  That your sisters were taking advantage of you.  (Here's a clue: They weren't)  That going back to Tuscon with nothing awaiting you was a good idea.  That it's okay to suck up limited resources for homeless people.  We may not be your friends, but you need to take a good look at the people you think are.

Usually we have circa 20-30 primitives lurking here.

Some minutes ago, there were 99.

Here is my story.

I was raised in a house of 7 very smart (read: smart asses needing a lot of attention) kids by a mom who was righteously divorced.  All of us, save the youngest were 1 or 2 years apart.

My mom HATED being the recipient of charity.  She swallowed her pride and dignity (maybe someone can define "dignity" to Amber) and accepted Welfare and made it clear to us that this was to keep us alive and was only temporary help (she never said, but now I know that it was her tax dollars she was requesting back).  She used Unemployment to get a part-time job, then went to night school (AFTER spending a whole day taking care of all us kids, including BUYING FOOD AND FEEDING US AND MAKING LUNCHES AT O-DARK-30 EVERY MORNING!).

She went to night school all this time (now I figure it was 20 hours a day for 10 FREAKING YEARS!).  When there were only 4 of us at home SHE GOT A FULL TIME JOB AND GOT OFF THE DOLE!!!!  Her pride was restored but the damage took its toll.  We all had a wonderful adult relationship together for maybe 10 or 15 years.

AMBER, YOU MISERABLE PUKE OF A HUMAN BEING MY MOM DIED IN HER 60s from BEING TOO GOOD A PERSON WHO TOOK HER RESPONSIBILITIES IN LIFE SO SERIOUSLY THEY KILLED HER IN THE SHORT RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

And there you sit, Amber, choosing whose help you will accept and whose who you will turn your nose up at.  You won't work, won't try to work, won't help yourself and now you DARE to be selective in the subsidized (there is no free) care you get.

Amber, do us all a favor and turn your nose up at all of them and die in the street since the level of free help doesn't meet your standards.  No one will know you were here, no one will know you left and the world, if a just place,  will be none the worse for your having used it for a bit.

My Mom lives on in me and my 6 siblings.  We know the importance of education and the meaning of hard work as its own reward.  We know what shame is and how it is a grand a great motivator but when and how to place it aside and bear it when others who depend on us need it.

The single thing that killed America was the death of shame.

And, Amber, you are that death incarnate.  So finish it.

Hiya Amber!

Just let me say one fact of life. Anything to type and post on the internet is PUBLIC. anyone, and I mean anyone can read it. If you post every step of your life story, don't be surprised when people read it, make comments about it, and laugh at it.

Social media is...social. All the world reads and laughs at DU. CC is one of the more innocent sites.

As for your story. You lost all sympathy from me when you took a job, stole bus money from the till, and quit 8 days later. If you weren't a thief more people would be rooting for you. You had a job, you could have saved and earned your bus fare. You stole the money instead.

THAT, my dear Amber is why you are miserable today. Its just a typical example of a lifetime of poor choices. You blame others when you are to blame.

I suggest that you face the fact you are a thief and a mooch. Find the Salvation Army and get right with God. Earn you own way through life with His Help. The alternative is to end up in a ditch, unwanted and unloved.
---What do YOU want Amber?

Amber dear, you're still slyly looking at this thread.

Please examine this photograph; you snapped it yourself and posted it yourself, about the time your ex-boyfriend was showing signs of unhappiness being with you.

Now Amber dear, you were in a "relationship" with this guy for ten years, which was plenty of time to drag him to the altar.  If you'd made it legal, you'd have him by the balls right now, entitled to all he has.

But no....."real love doesn't need a piece of paper."

Yeah, right.  Being a male, I know how we are.  You should've made it legal, Amber dear, and you had plenty of time to do that, and if you'd only done that, you'd be in clover right now, instead of lost on the streets of a strange city.  Whether Dreamboat Dave wanted to or not, he'd have to cater to your every whim.

But no....."real love doesn't need a piece of paper."

That was probably the biggest damned mistake you ever made in your life Amber dear, trusting a guy to "love" you without civil and legal recognition to back it up.

(http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad335/photoatcc/ladyfreedomreturnshusband_zps8d6309b5.jpg) (http://s949.photobucket.com/user/photoatcc/media/ladyfreedomreturnshusband_zps8d6309b5.jpg.html)

Okay now Amber dear, look at the expression on Dreamboat Dave's face.

Remember, when that photograph was taken, he was looking right at you.

And remember, franksolich is deaf, having to depend nearly wholly upon interpretation of body-language.

Body-language, unlike words that come from lips, doesn't lie.

What Dreamboat Dave's body-language betrays is mostly contempt, with a little bit of fear, for the person he's looking at.  He's not being humanly grouchy or just out of sorts; that expression of disgust is intense.

This is the real reason, Amber dear, you went back to Tucson; you entertain fantasies of getting back together again, and him taking care of you.

Give it up, Amber dear; it's not going to happen.

It's not the end of one's world, being rejected.  In fact, it'd be highly unusual to run into anybody who's ever not been rejected.

Rejection hurts, but time heals all.

If I had someone looking at me the same way Dreamboat Dave was looking at you that day, I'd take a deep breath, "hooooo-kay," and then move on.

Ask any psychiatrist, Amber dear; this is good advice, the best advice possible for someone in your situation.

It could be a good thing she's reading here now, the DUmp was sure giving her some bad advice. Dave's body language in that pic is unapproachable and closed off . . . try a younger guy, Amber, and get some mental health therapy ASAP.

Bullshit. <-----------for lurking DUmmies.

If this so called smelly fish is the primitive AKA Walldude, he's an out and out liar. He never got fired from his job 2 weeks later because the job that he wallduded himself on was a week-end gig and a convention center. He was manning a booth and imbedded a subliminal message in the manufacturers presentation video. He bragged about it at the DUmp and was fired from the three day gig the next day. He was escorted out of the convention center by security.

He was a freelance video editor working the three day gig because he was, as most DUmmies are, broke.

Yeah, that's walldude alright - here's the old thread where he complained about being fired:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x4107281

Several years later, he blames "the freepers" and claims his new job is at triple the salary of his old one:

I was talking online about a job I was doing and let just a bit too much information slip out. A freeper called "security" at the place I was working and said I threatened to blow the place up.

The worst part wasn't losing my job, that actually worked out great for me(thanks you dumb freeper ****, I now make triple what I did), the worst part was they had me in this room with my boss and "security" and they had a copy of my DU post on the table. Now nowhere in this post did I threaten anyone or anything, but even though it was sitting right in front of them they kept asking my why I made threats.

It was insane.

Amber, seriously, think about it...you want to hook up with a guy who is a RAIDERS fan?

Seriously?

And no, when we sit here and observe, comment, and laugh when someone decides to make the fateful decision, their latest in a series of bad life choices, their most recent, "Hold muh beer and watch THIS!" moment, we're not the ones hurting you, dearest.

You are.  All we're doing is just expressing our gratitude that no matter how shitty our lives get, that we'll never be as ****ed up as YOU.  For you, dear Amber, all the pain, hurt, misery, and darkness in your life is (say it with me now) self-inflicted.

And if you can't figure that out, no amount of demonstration to change or pleading with you is going to change that.

C'est dommage, Amber.

Well, I'm afraid Amber has really screwed the pooch (in addition to whatever else she's been screwing to make ends meet).

She seems to have taken advice from the DUmp, the worst possible source on earth, to stop her Tucson updates.

Her DOTY campaign was rounding into shape.

It could have been the only thing she's ever won, the only recognition she's ever had, in her entire deprived, depraved life.

But now she's shut it down, allowing other competitors an open field to make up ground.

You can expect Dennis to have a dramatic breakdown, taking advantage of the opening.

Expect rsmithnumbers to have some amazing problems breaking into the over-the-road profession.

Expect Doug Bulna to make some amazing appearances.

Let's hope Amber doesn't let this chance of a lifetime pass her by.

Well, as of 3:00 p.m. central time, Tuesday, one notices the convenience store primitive hasn't updated us.

One might suppose she's embarrassed by all the publicity she's generated, but I don't think it's that.

It looked to me as if she was in some rather convulsive emotional turmoil yesterday, brought about by that things weren't working the way she'd hoped they would.  Perhaps it was starting to trickle into her head that this whole enterprise wasn't such a good idea.

<<<been there, done that.  (But obviously with much better endings.)

But what to do?  She refuses to consider the most reasonable option, the best option, that of forgetting all about the old guy and returning to the care and nurture of her loving sisters back in Joplin.

Hey, the sisters aren't exactly sterling, but they're better than any alternative available to her.

Not contemplating that course of action, she has no idea what to do.

Amber's confused.

Amber's lost.

In her panic, she's making a whole lot of more bad decisions.

Unless by some miracle of God, she high-tails it back to Joplin, this will not end well.

It's obvious where the responsibility for this imminent tragedy lies--on Amber herself, on the primitive who purchased the bus ticket for her, and on the primitives who encouraged her.

Having been through three situations similar (although on my own dime)--going somewhere far away and finding it wasn't as I'd thought and planned it would be--I can very well imagine what's going on with Amber right now.  She's lost, she's scared, and being a primitive, she's going to panic and do some really stupid things.

The difference of course being that my priority was to first find work, while hers was to find freebies.

And also, Amber being a primitive, has the imagination of a rotten walnut, the audacity of a dead frog.

I know what she's going through, and know she's handling it all wrong.

Funny thing, Frank, is that back in 2007 (6 years ago this very day), DUmmie Amber was more concerned with her family and being around them:

Quote
Senior Amber Hoyt, of Joplin, was accepted at the University of Missouri-Columbia but decided to attend MSSU because of nearby family and lower tuition costs.

Even with her frugal decisions, the 29-year-old is worried that debt from her federal loans will affect her credit.

“This will probably keep me from getting a house or a car for a while,” Hoyt said. “I thought the loans were probably the safest bet.”

Hoyt’s sister, Crystal, said costs escalate as students progress through their majors, meaning they pay more and more each year.

“You have to have these classes to graduate,” said Crystal Hoyt, 25.

Apparently Missouri institutions of higher learning do not include essays in their application process.

Amber, Crystal Naydean, and Annette are not really that strong on writing prose.

This is one hell of a recommendation for Missouri universities.

It also means the semi-literate Amber is 35 years old now, and putting her Missouri education to work.

For some persons, a mental disorder or a mental illness leaves them unable to make decisions about caring for their basic human needs such as food, shelter, and medical care. A few people who are experiencing a mental disorder or a mental illness may be in danger of hurting themselves or others. This can be a very confusing and frightening experience for them as well as for their families and friends. With appropriate evaluation, treatment, and continued care, most people with mental illness can return to their normal lives.

Similarly, individuals who are abusing alcohol or drugs may be unable to make decisions about caring for their basic human needs such as food, shelter, and medical care. Alcohol or drug abuse may also place a person in danger of hurting themselves or others.

As with most types of medical evaluation and treatment, people may decide to participate voluntarily, may refuse to participate or may choose alternatives to the recommendations.

For some people, the symptoms of a mental disorder or a mental illness or the effects of alcohol or drug abuse compromise their cognitive or reasoning ability, and they are left unable to understand sufficient information to make decisions about necessary and appropriate medical treatment.

Missouri Statutes, Chapter 632 RSMo, provide the statutory authority to allow involuntary treatment under certain conditions with appropriate due process. This process is called Civil Involuntary Detention.

Who can initiate a Civil Involuntary Detention?

Any adult person may file an application for detention, evaluation, and treatment with the probate division of the circuit court where the person may be found.

Law Enforcement personnel, under their police power authority, may detain a person believed to be imminently harmful due to a mental disorder or alcohol or drug abuse and transport the person to an appropriate facility for evaluation for admission.

It's the DUmmie way, frank, they can't help it.  It's in their genetic makeup.

Like moths to a flame, DUmmies gravitate to stupidity.

Kind of like what Reid and Obama are doing today. Even with the MSM 103% on the evil democrat party's side I think they lost today. I think once Lee's strategy to fund each section of government, you know like a real budget, and the evil democrats saying NO is going to wear thin on America.

No, I'm sure walldude/walldude1/SomethingFishy are all the same person - Denver residents in the roadie business with similar writing styles, but then this is Amber's thread, and I won't be surprised if she's gone forever, either - in the past when she has thought she was being picked on, she'd remove herself from the situation. I didn't think she was the type to sign up here at all.

I think there's a chance she will self-committ or deliberately committ a crime just to get off the streets. She seems to be getting over the Dave thing.

Emotions and feelings do not enter into the equation. She is either a threat or not based on stringent standards. Based on what I have seen and read on here I would not EPC her.

I've decided that Convenient Store Amber does need some help, and being the kind-hearted individual that I am have decided to help her financially. As the wicked people at PayPal are determined to keep her away from the generous gifts of the DUmmies, I'm not going to send her money that way...but rather am going to adapt the DUmmies' practice of sending pictures of hands rather than actual help. So, here's $300 to add to her nest-egg:

What with chasing after all the freebies one can get....who has time to look for a job?

That and chasing after the Indian with the 6 pack...whoops...almost forgot...she also has to have time to keep us updated through her posting at DU...
Got to keep things in perspective and her priorities right.

I think Amber now aspires to be the Hedda Hopper, the gossip columnist, of the streets.

Do you think nadin would let her use the "good rig" for a while to get the feelings of the people around the picnic tables?

Now that you mention it, nadin hasn't mentioned The Good Rig in ages.

I hope it didn't get trashed on one of her death-defying assignments.

If it did, there's no way Crazy Miriam will pay for it.
