31. Not always directly, but their culture arms mass shooters.
You can trace all gun crime back to the NRA and the gun humpers who fondle themselves to their siren song.
Never let a tragedy go to waste.
-
If all of the shooters are black and the victims white expect a total MSM spike by tomorrow. Otherwise expect a long, long slug against guns again.

Now wait just a minute, I thought all Federal facilities were gun free zones?
How could this have possibly happened?

And the Boston Bombings, and Sandy Hook, and Colorado. And on and on and on.
Angry Amish, it has never been a gun-sniffing teabagger. For one, we'd never in a million years disrespect a service member, let alone harm them.
Angry Amish is a ****ing idiot. Unless he's one of you, of course.

My guess is the Navy Yard is not close enough to the US Capitol or Congressional office bldgs for the repuke obstructionists to pass gun control measures. They will continue to listen to their puppetmasters in the gun lobby and NRA (one and the same).

doesn't always involve mass murder doesn't mean it isn't happening.
But thanks for showing us all how quick you are to defend RW terrorists. Enjoy your stay.

4:44pm - The AP reports that Aaron Alexis was a full-time Navy reservist from May 2007 until January 2011. No one is yet sure if he was cleared to work at the Navy Yard.
4:39pm - Senate lifts some security restrictions:
Senate officials lifted some restrictions on their side of the U.S. Capitol complex Monday while authorities searched for a potential second suspect in the Navy Yard shootings.
Sergeant at Arms Terrance Gainer restricted people from leaving or entering Senate buildings for part of the day. By late afternoon, he said people would be allowed to leave the buildings but only senators and staff would be allowed to enter before Tuesday.
4:35pm - The Smoking Gun reports that Aaron Alexis was arrested in 2010 for discharging a firearm. Alexis claimed it was an accident that occurred when he was cleaning his firearm. No charges were filed.
4:31pm - Law enforcement officials confirmed that Alexis did not shoot himself; he died in a shoot out with police.
4:26pm - The FBI has officially identified the dead shooter as Aaron Alexis and and posted his photo. The FBI is looking for any information on the shooter; "No information is too small."

Hey you DU dweebs, if any of you had ever actually been in a military headquarters, you'd know that thanks to an aversion to risk of anything uncontrolled happening that borders on the pathological, there aren't any guns anywhere except the few carried by a gatekeeper security force that represents a security blanket just as thick and brittle as an eggshell. Of course, none of you ever have, because besides being too unpatriotic and self-serving to ever BE in the military, your drug and sex offense records would have kept you from passing the screening for a clearance.
-
Well, there is a 92% chance the shooter voted for obammy.

Call me paranoid, but I'm having difficulty swallowing that this guy with the squeaky clean record wasn't doing all this on a quiet phone conversation between Holder and SEIU/NAALCP/SPLC muckities looking for ammo to take into a new round of gun confiscation "debates"...

Fort Hood and now this shooting are Bill Clinton's and the left's fault.
Beginning in March 1993, under the Clinton administration, the army forbids military personnel from carrying their own personal firearms and mandates that "a credible and specific threat against [Department of the Army] personnel [exist] in that region" before military personnel "may be authorized to carry firearms for personal protection."

Second a surprising number of dems voted against the gun control measures that were introduced following Newtown.

Dish has been down a couple of days thanks to a lightning strike at zero-dark-thirty Monday morning, so I haven't seen any cable news since then. Is there anything to the references I've seen to the shooter coming in with a plain old shotgun, then doing most of the damage with guns he took from the guards or the guard station?

3:15 p.m. (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/09/16/active-shooter-at-washington-navy-yard/) According to NBC Washington, video footage shows one gunman entering the building with a shotgun. He reportedly shot a security guard and then proceeded on through the building, possibly with the security guard’s pistol. He may have hidden in wait for responding police officers, then opened fire, shooting one D.C. officer in the leg and then may have retrieved that officer’s AR-15 rifle.

Did you hear any of Obama's speech? While the manhunt was still going on, people were still hiding from the shooter/s, schools were locked down and we didn't yet know if it was terrorism, he used that moment to politicize the event and then beat up on Republicans over the economy and call them unpatriotic.
-
I'm curious, with what we know of Obama's background could he have obtained a Top Secret clearance if he was an actual military candidate? Or a contract worker?
My husband was a contractor and had the top clearance for a civilian. It was a very thorough check going back to his days as a juvie. On his jobs at military facilities, some, required that he be with an escort all day every day.
-
Fort Hood and now this shooting are Bill Clinton's and the left's fault.
Slight correction: :cheersmate:
...It appears this “gun-free zone†type policy (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/09/17/this-is-why-most-military-personnel-are-disarmed-on-military-bases-and-its-not-clintons-fault/) can actually be traced back to Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 5210.56, signed into effect in February 1992 by Donald J. Atwood, deputy secretary of defense under President George H.W. Bush.
<snip>
Some outlets are citing Army Regulation 190-14, a policy implemented in 1993 that changed policy regarding carrying firearms on the Army’s military bases, to cast blame on Clinton.
However, that policy specifically notes part of its purpose is aimed at implementing “applicable portions of Department of Defense Directive 5210.56,†which, as previously stated, was put into effect by Bush Sr.’s deputy secretary of defense...
So we have a progressive to blame for it, but he was a progressive REPUBLICAN, not a Dhimmi'Rat. :thatsright:

His admitted use of cocaine would probably have prevented him being issued a clearance.

From the article to the link posted by the OP Dummie.
Army regulation 190-14 actually implements a policy put in under George H.W. Bush, meaning Bill Clinton is not responsible for a lack of armed personnel on military bases. Additionally, the DoD told TheBlaze the Army regulation wouldn’t apply to other branches of the military like the Navy. (Source: Army regulation 190-14)
