Open carry in the wilderness? No problem, in the city? Stupid.
It was you moonbats that wanted people to open carry.
When carry laws were being passed from coast to coast, you called those people who carry a coward for concealed carry. The term you used was "hidden and loaded" guns. You advocated open carry so everyone could see who was armed and who was not. Can't have it both ways.

you've injected a completely absurd notion that JUST because you're on private property, laws don't apply.
Guess what, they do.
And in spite of what you think, in NJ, not only do you need a valid license, you also have to show insurance. The state does not give you the benefit of the doubt you will not drive the vehicle.

If the shepherd said to go buy a gun (and presumably gave out a "entitlement" with which to purchase it ) they'd be lined up to do their duty. Exactly the same thing would happen should the shepherd decide that guns were bad - there'd be a line 6 deep at the local meltin' pot.

I open carry all the time and have never seen anyone go into a panic or become physically upset. DUmmie, I open carry while pumping gas, getting a drink at Starbucks, in front of cops, in the grocery store, etc. I'm also a female who has "that time of the month" every-so-often and have never pulled my gun to fire upon someone.
There was a time when my husband was open carrying in Walmart and some fat black lady told him she was going to go home and get her "gat" to carry around too... ::)

Well, I saw in this morning's news a link to a story about a piece of space debris falling down to earth and killing someone, so I rushed to it, to see if it was in northern New Jersey.
Alas, no; it was somewhere in China, and apparently it was a block of frozen sewage from a passenger airplane.

That's true. I forgot about those people. But in my reality in Las Vegas, no one has a fit. I'm sure some tourists would if I were to open carry down Las Vegas Blvd.

You Clark County people have to have that stupid blue card for your guns whereas, here in Nye County, we don't even have to register our guns. I open carry all the time into our WalMart and no one even notices it.
That DUmmy is full of it, I've yet to see anyone get upset because I open carry.

I'm curious why you prefer open carry to concealed carry? Here's a short video from FPSRussia on why he thinks concealed carry is superior, I pretty much agree 100% with his assessment.
Side note-if you haven't heard of this guy and you're a gun enthusiast, this guys videos are fantastic. He shoots some of the sweetest weaponry available and adds a comedic twist as well.

It's not that I perfer open carry to concealed, I open carry during the summer because it's too much of a hassle to conceal during the So. Nv. summer heat.

I do both.
I have a Milt Sparks holster (150.00) and Esmeralda grips (160.00) on my bobtail 1911. It's a shame to cover them up.
