Current is no longer available
You gotta say Time Warner is fast.
Just called and downgraded back to basic.
What bothers me s they are doing that to keep Al Jazeera from gaining any foothold in the US...the variety tier has RT, which at times can be tendentious. And let's not start with Fox which s in the basic tier.
Whoohoo, my cable bill just went down! You only bought cable to have current? :loser:
Later I will go return the box. You do that.

AFAIK, a box is required for all channels since they are digital. We don't get anything without the cable box.

Cut it out, mean people. :-)
I fixed it.

Skul, I believe the semiliterate Mistress of Malaprops meant to say "No 'Invisible Hand of the Marketplace,' Adam Smith notwithstanding, and all that sort of thing."

So the worlds smartest.most traveled,all around do gooder and superhuman free loading journolist can't figure it out that all TV is now digital and that you will need cable. DishTV or DIRECTV To watch your programs and that you have little choice in the matter. Yes, she is that Stupid.

Only those that have the old analog only TV sets. Newer model TVs and a $20+/- antennae will pull in a plethora of channels , depending upon the area of the country you are located. Around here that's about 20 channels , of course about half are Spanish.

We could pick up one channel with an antenna.

Even the cops have issues without repeaters.
Semi-automatic radios?
Nice thing about current, is somebody screwed on a "silencer". :rofl:

To decipher nadinese, you have to remember a few key points:
1. What she is saying may not make any sense, but it tend to incorporate a lot of phrases she read somewhere that did, and she lards down her posts with these phrases under the delusion that it makes her sound more erudite and educated (Which would work a lot better if she could get them right, of course);
2. Her supposed Hispanic education and upbringing doesn't have all that much effect on her crappy writing, the way she says things makes even less sense in Spanish than it does in English; I suspect her parents weren't super-fluent themselves and so it was not her at-home language;
3. In addition to her abominable spelling and grammar, she randomly omits important words, especially in those phrases mentioned in Number 1;
4. Her use of 'Them' signifies that she is mocking the uneducated unwashed masses for either something they might say or for just not being among the cognoscenti like herself. It's intended to be condescendingly folksy to convey her intellectual contempt for whatever follows, and so naturally as snark it may be a complete turnaround from the preceding material in the post, paragraph, or sentence, but unfortunately for her, he writing is so abysmally bad that many readers just assume the 'Them' is yet another in a long series of grammar and spelling faults, and miss the turn to snark.
5. It helps to be well-read in understanding Nadin, not because what she writes is actually intelligent (Oh, far from it!), but in order to pick up on the many borrowed phrases mentioned in Number 1 so you can realize what she was actually trying to say before she put them through the word scrambler.

Does anyone believe the crazy bald dyslexic dwarf has the word "tendentious" in her vocabulary?
I'll grant her the first syllable, but the rest of the word is miles beyond her grasp of English.

:rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
Time Warner Cable rules! I know exactly why they are not showing it, and I'm not telling.
