Dear Jerk-Offs Who are Firing Their Employees
You can't blame Obamacare, nimrods. The penalties for failure to provide your employees coverage don't kick in until 2014, and if you have under 50 employees, there's no penalty at all. So how do you explain firing them now?
What petty, petty assholes you are.

The average person sees these tantrums and is reminded of how much they despise most corporate executives.
Coupled with Romney's "I like firing people" line and it makes these people look cruel and petty.
My husband is the president and co-founder of a small company. He AGONIZES over things like this. He had to lay off six people in 2009 and it was awful. He knew that these were people's lives he was affecting, their dreams, their families. He had already taken a substantial pay cut the year before, along with the other executives, hoping to avoid the layoffs. I just can't believe the flippant, callous way these people are talking about lay offs. It is disgusting and immoral. Never mind that it is also a bad business practice.

Now, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
What does the Las Vegas Leviathan care about people laid off from their jobs?
After all, it's not as if fatty's concerned about finding a job himself.
Whoa, wait a damn minute there frank. You have to think of poor Jeanette like LL does. He needs HER to be able to get a job!

.....You, Kirk, above all other DUmmies epitomize the reason why the "Own It" thread exists. You are the very definition, the picture if you will, of a looter/moocher: Fat, lazy, whiny, self unemployed, craven, dependent upon others for your most basic needs, and unashamed.
You are the taker, Kirk, that does not understand (and will never care to learn) about how it is others supply your living. You move about in your fog of self pity and greed, always demanding more with no intention of ever giving back. On election day, the looters and moochers spoke.....
:ownit:
The Las Vegas Leviathan over the years several times has alleged he's possessive of an "above-average" IQ, damn near a supergenius.Really? :lmao:
Yeah, right.
You know, though, that all might've been a waste of time, trying to explain that to fatty, who's not going to get it.

Yeah.Well, you have to give the lardass some credit.
One time I got really pissed off here in the DUmpster, when bringing over a campfire of fatty's, where he pointed out that Jeanette is pretty bright.....but then arrogantly added, "as am I," which negated his compliment to his wife.
It's all about fatty.
FISCAL CLIFF
Because no one ever looks down the road and makes decisions based on the VERY FORESEEABLE future? You people are too ****ing stupid. You are getting exactly what you voted for. This shit is your fault. Own it, DUmbasses.

4,000 odd posts on a US political forum and you have no idea at all how Obamacare, income taxes, or business accounting actually work beyond one irrelevant tidbit. It would be humorous, if you weren't a voter.

See ? Perfect .
You are right Frank but it applies to both of them.
Wrong primitive, though.
I think the insult's meant to be directed at fatty, the Las Vegas Leviathan, rather than to the big guy.

Under Obamacare, companies with 50 or more full-time employees either have to provide them with government-approved health insurance policies, or pay a per-employee fine. Further, the fine kicks in at the 31st employee, not the 51st, and it starts at $2,000 per year per employee. It goes up later. Companies, therefore, are discouraged from having full-time employees, or at least 50 or more of them.
obamacare doesn't take effect until 2014, but THEY START TAXING FOR IT IN JANUARY! How stupid can those fools be?

I thought it didn't go into full effect until 2016. Wasn't that the complaint about the numbers, where they said that they collect on it for two years first?
Catholic organizations will soon be fined $100 per day per employee for not covering birth control. I believe that it will begin in 2013. You can bet that a lot of those organizations are looking at their financing and figuring out how to cover that.
Easy - drop the coverage completely and pay the fine.
I'm sure that some organizations are weighing the cost/benefits of that option.

If they drop the insurance and have over 50 employees, I believe the fine is $3000.
that's what a lot of companies are toying with right now. Many think that even the $3k is cheaper than the insurance.

The day after election day, the business owners replied. Just because you don't see the correlation between your party's hostility to business and producers doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Businesses see the reelection of a clueless marxist, with the blessing of his greedy electorate, as a sign that costs are going to continue to go up while wealth will be confiscated at a higher rate to be redistributed to those that have no intention of ever doing anything other than take.
Wasp, I thought this paragraph was a masterpiece. Bravo.
If this country continues to allow people to take and take and keeps over taxing the rest then be prepared for the consequences when the economy crashes and the real fun begins. Those of us that have seen it coming will probably make it but, I have it on good authority that the rest of you blood sucking ticks on the left are pretty much ****ed.
Stryker Corporation, a Michigan-based medical device company with operations around the world, is laying off five percent of its employees in order to offset the cost of a tax passed as part of Obamacare in 2009 and scheduled to take effect in 2013.
http://newmediajournal.us/indx.php/item/3700
Kalamazoo billionaire Jon Stryker is one of the top five campaign contributors to President Barack Obama, donating more than $2 million to pro-Obama Super PACs this summer.
(break)
Stryker's grandfather founded the medical products company Stryker Corp. in Kalamazoo. Jon Stryker is worth $1.2 billion, according to Forbes Magazine.

And the dummies go: :lalala:
They got the cool dude that gives out free birth control reelected. That is all they care about. These people are so stupid they couldn't pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the heel.
We told them Airwolf. Now they are going to find out. Sucks to be them but they wanted it. Kinda like a child that gets warned not to touch that hot pan and does it anyway.
A SMART child only does it once, and has learned its lesson.
DUmmies never learn. They just keep touching that hot pan, expecting a different result. :hammer:

Well DD... pain is a great instructor, it teaches the lesson quite effectively. Looks like the dummies are gonna have to suffer some pain to learn. Too bad the other half of the country will too. :cheersmate:
Easy - drop the coverage completely and pay the fine.
Well, the half that voted for the pain will get what they wanted.
The rest will just have to make do, and we will. Tough times don't last, tough people do!
I'll throw my hat in with a Mountaineer any day, if they'll have me. (I am an honorary citizen of WV, BTW. I married a WV woman!) :-*
I KNOW they will emerge victorious!!!! :II:
So will all those that populate a state that mines or farms. They KNOW what hard work feels like.

What happens if they have 60 employees, douchebag? What do you think they'll do to get under that 50 number? Actions are met with reactions. Own it, bitch. :bird:

Not to mention the, according to the US Census bureau, 6 million private businesses in the United States with less than 50 employees. They'll be dropping people like flies as well because, according to these douchebags, they're those "evil rich" people making over 250K. It's pointless to explain to said douchebags that that 250K+ those employers are making also pays for the salaries of their employees as they file their taxes as personal income.
And right on their heels the Feds will continue to lower the bar.
Right now it's over 50 employees and people making 250K
As those numbers in each category drop off because of these horrific policies the definitions will be changed too.
At some point unless something is done with what I make I'll be considered part of the "evil rich".
Wal-Mart Stores' U.S. employees will pay between 8 percent and 36 percent more in premiums for its medical coverage in 2013, prompting some of the 1.4 million workers at the nation's largest private employer to say they will forego coverage altogether.
