The average person sees these tantrums and is reminded of how much they despise most corporate executives.
Coupled with Romney's "I like firing people" line and it makes these people look cruel and petty.

My husband is the president and co-founder of a small company. He AGONIZES over things like this. He had to lay off six people in 2009 and it was awful. He knew that these were people's lives he was affecting, their dreams, their families. He had already taken a substantial pay cut the year before, along with the other executives, hoping to avoid the layoffs. I just can't believe the flippant, callous way these people are talking about lay offs. It is disgusting and immoral. Never mind that it is also a bad business practice.

They aren't trying to do anyone favors, they are trying to keep the doors open. They worked hard for what they have built, and yes DUmmies they built it, and they don't want to lose it all because of your envy, your greed, and your desire to destroy them.

I believe the phrase "Elections have consequences" is applicable here.  It seems the primtives only want that to go one way, from whatever Dear Leader wants to the rest of us.  But it cuts both ways.  So yeah, primitives, own it.

But look, primitives, even if you're unwilling to accept the reasons why these people are getting a pink slip, that doesn't change anything, does it?  They're still losing their jobs.  Your complaining doesn't put food on their table.  Rather than demanding the rich pay more, you really need to send a check to the US Treasury so your precious gov't can feed these people.  That's right, put your money where your mouth is.  I expect to see a thread stating your desires to do this any moment now, you being the compassionate being you claim to be.

There have been around 20,000 layoffs over the past couple of days (since obama got re-elected) because of obamacare. Estimates are that over 2 million+ will happen throughout 2013. Raising taxes will also cause more layoffs. Although they are talking about getting more tax revenue without raising the taxes - Figure that one out you DUmptards.

From what I read about all of this; the unemployment rate will around 9% or 10% within the next four to six months. Good luck for anyone finding a job. Or at least one that has you working more than 28 hours a week.

From kindergarten to adult we brought in dimes and quarters to school and when we got to $18.00 we got a bond for $25.00 an increase of $7.00 over 15 years or so.  

These bonds were given for birthdays and Christmass to us kids and held until we needed them.

 Not allot of money but insured to not go down in interest. Until a few years ago every place I worked had a Bond with drawl from the pay check.  

Along comes the 401K that stopped company's from offering the bonds.   When the 401K  plan came in the company was willing to buy the bonds at face value to put into the 401K PLAN.  Not a good idea for those only a year from getting full payment.

Here's the kicker, few were told they did not have to turn in their bonds to apply for a 401K,   they had no idea they could still buy bonds but on their own at banks.  just because the company no longer with drew from a pay check for bonds did not mean they could not get into a 401K plan.

401K's held the turned in bonds, sold them for top money and made a fortune.  It took me a while to catch  on to this, it takes a big education to understand finance.  

So now the 401K is the plan to go to for retirement, great, but one can loose 6-8,000 bucks in any quarter.  We have no control over the stock market if one puts money in a savings account the bank is going to charge you service charges to bring your interest down to 1% or lower.

One good thing about bonds, pay $18 bucks for a $25.,00 dollar bond, worse comes to worse one can cash the sucker in for  gas money.   I bought my first home on bonds my grandparents had bought for years for me.  

I do not trust the stock market but I do feel that the Government bonds will be there unless the country goes to hell and then why bother.

Why on earth would any employer lay off employees out of "revenge?"     That would hurt production of whatever product/service they are selling.   They would only be hurting themselves - intentionally??

Think misfits before you type.  

Note also:   employers INVEST in their employees when they are hired - training costs money misfits.   You don't let employees go on a whim.
