What do you think will be your fondest memory of Election Night?

Of course I will revel in the unbridled joy emanating from Chicago, but it turns out I'm not a very nice person. You see, what I can't ****ing wait to witness is Queen Ann standing behind her husband as he concedes. With lips a-tremble and tears coursing down her cheeks, that arrogant, pampered, elitist twit is going to come face-to-face with the stark realization that the American people have completely rejected the lying sack of shit she married. It will slowly sink in that it is NOT "their turn" and they are NOT entitled to the White House because they're ****ing rich! She will have to face the cold, hard truth that the American people don't like her or her smirking ass-wipe of a husband.
That's going to sting like a bitch.

11 Boo Boo just described what Michelle 0bama will be doing on election night.

DU will be in full lockdown mode, admins will be standing by to scrub all the posts that might interest the Secret Service, there will be screams of "fraud", threats of DUmmies moving to another country, and lots and lots of hissy fits and crying.

That's going to sting like a bitch.

Even if the worst happens and Barry manages to hold on to his throne, the popular vote will still likely be so close that to say, "the American people have completely rejected" Romney would be bullshit. Not that that has ever been an impediment to you DUmmies' proclamations. He certainly won't have anything approaching a mandate, and he'll still be as despised and mistrusted as ever by the producers in this country, which means they'll continue to hold on to their capital and growth will continue to stagnate. A Republican Congress will hopefully keep his crazier shit in check, and the moonbat Supreme Court Justice you fantasize about will never come to be. We'll have a gridlocked government. Barry will experience the same irrelevance that Clinton had in his second term, and will be reduced to signing this or that feel-good bill that makes good photo-ops with children gathered at his feet, but that's about it.

Meanwhile, Romney and family will return to their well-appointed lifestyle, making more millions and enjoying life while you continue to stew in the boiling cauldron hate and envy that is DU, lamenting about how unfair it is that others prosper while you grow mold. We'll be over here enjoying life, too, because it's not in a conservative's nature to let politics and setbacks define their lives. Unlike you, we are survivors and achievers and overcomers. We don't need you. You need us.

I took the 7th off just so I could enjoy election 2012....I want secret microphones to record the wails of despair in Chicago and other liberal hell holes.
I want to see the DUmmies cry out, "Nooooo! Mr Mannn was right all along!"

I want to see the DUmmy rage as Obama concedes at the first possible moment not fighting it out ala Gore the babymeister. I wanna see the "First time" Obama chick react to the concession speech, "No! No! You're pulling out too soon!"

I wanna see new pictures of the weeping DUmmies to set alongside the crying fat chick from 2000.

I wanna see republicans line the streets near the white house so when the Obamas leave in Jan 20th, they will hear, "SHa Na Na Na, Sha Na Na Na. Hey Hey Hey. Goodbye."

Turning to MSNBC after a huge Dem defeat will be entertaining too.  They will probably have to drop their feed to get a handle on reality.

If by some remote chance that Obama steals the election from Mitt Romney, I'll take small comfort that Mitt will still be richer than all of the DUmmies combined.  Not only that, but another four years of the Obamaconomy will hurt the DUmmies financially way more than it will hurt rich people.

MSNBC will declare obama the winner before 8:00 Pm.

As for the rest of it. Looking at the polls and comparing them to 2008. They are the same as they were then, only difference is that Romney is ahead. IT IS A FACT THAT A CANDIDATE OVER 50% THIS LATE IN THE RACE HAS NEVER LOST THE ELECTION. That is exactly where Romney is. So suck it DUmmies. Your President is a absolute failure and makes Jimmy Carter look like a great President.

I will also be watching MSNBC on election night. Seeing those obama leg humping shills crow will be a beautiful thing.

I'm going to enjoy watching every single Libtard...from Obama on down...stare at the results in slack jawed amazement.

Because every. single. one of them. has bought into the hype that they were gonna win and win big.

They believed their self generated polls and their WH approved propaganda pieces...they bought into everything MSNBC CNN NBC ABC CBS and the NYT has said about this election.

And it's all gonna turn out not the way they had planned.

There's gonna be a lot of blank stares navel gazing and sul searching late on Nov. 6th.

And I'm gonna love every single minute of it.

The truth didn't come out until much later of course, but remember election night 2010 when Chief S itting Bull, the Greatest Primitive Ever, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive "Redstone" got beat up in a bar picking fights with patrons cheering about the results?

He got some major damage done him, but it was Chief S itting Bull's own fault, mouthing off like that.

Damn, I miss the hot-tempered short-fused bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive; we're coming up on the one-year anniversary of his departure from this time and place.

If BO is booted, there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth throughout DUmmieland. MSNBC will be apoplectic. It should be SWEEEEEET!!! The icing on the cake will be if we can take the Senate. And here in Missouri, if Todd Akin can oust ObamaClaire McJobs-kill, that would be make the night complete.

This is going to be a fun election! Everything they've done to fool themselves. Right now most polls are oversampling dems and Romney's still ahead, even in swing states. They're so delusional they obviously haven't seen what's going in in WI, PA & MN, or they're deliberately ignoring it. Undecideds will break towards Romney. Then we'll have 8 years (well, 16 with Ryan) of them bitching about the rich, how Romney's enriching his friends, tax cuts for the rich, etc. The years of angst & depression, all their bitterness, hatred & rage coming back to bite them in the ass!

Sounds like you're excited as I am. Should be delicious. Like a NY Strip steak medium rare, a virgin strawberry daquari, rizzoto, and chocolate marble cheesecake for dessert.

Hell, it may be better, but that's the best thing I could picture at the moment.

It would be highly improbable for DUmbasses to develop the personal fortitude necessary to either suck-start a shotgun or play "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" with razor blades as a result of the blowout coming Barry's way in 8 days.  I CAN see them doing what leftists do best and rioting in protest of Dear Leader's ouster from the center seat.  In process, I can see a few of them possibly committing suicide by cop, but most of 'em will be tazed or pepper sprayed and carted downtown to sleep it off.

Too bad; I would hope that a few of 'em would take their protests out my way, so I could cure their ills for 'em. "I swear, your honor, I saw that bong he was holding, and it looked like a gun.  I was in fear for my life." :naughty:

I wouldn't put it past Barack Milhous to try this, and it needs opposed.

In the course of the history of the United States, there's been many times the weather's proven life-threatening.

That never postponed the elections.

But I wouldn't put it past Barack Milhous to try.

I'm really not sure what my fondest memory will be yet.  What will all of you be doing?  I can't bring myself to watch MSNBC.  I'll be logged in here, reading DU posts and giggling.  I can't stay up too late (after midnight...) because I have to work the next day.  I will stay up past midnight for some good drama though... ;)

We were talking with our neighbor on Sunday about the riot threats and he said he has guns too.  So there are a few of us armed on our street if anyone happens to make it this far out.  I don't think we have anything to worry about.

I'm not sure yet.  I know I'll be really nervous, because I'm not as positve about this election turnout as a lot of other people seem to be.  I know I won't be able to watch it on television either.  Maybe I'll just listen to it on the radio, like I did with the debates.

What this country needs is a good five-cent cigar.
There are probably some here who have never heard that maxim.

Which reminds me.
In elementary school every student used to keep supplies like crayons, scissors, paste, etc., in a cigar box, secured with a big rubber band.

I wonder how many of today's sudents have ever seen a cigar box. And a pair of scissors would probably land them in "alternative school".

And when Nixon was elected the slogan was  "What this country needs is a good five cent hamburg."  So on inaguation day Royal Castle in Miami (a chain similar to White Castle in NY) sold just that.  For the math challenged among us that means you could get twenty Royal Castle Burgers for one thin dollar.  And I  invested that much to my stomach's dismay.  It was rumored you could read the Miami Herald through a RC burger but I never tried.  I am not sure what their meat consisted so I didn' t eat  a the one near Hialaeh :lmao: although after eating twenty I did feel like I could run four furlongs.

That does look awesome. Not really a cigar man, but now I want one. I should see if any of the convenience stores around here have nice, thick single cigars--a victory dance for when Obama loses tomorrow night. I would doubt they have any high quality ones though. Probably need to order them through a site or something. The stores around here only have Black & Mild, and such. Which aren't bad, but they're not high quality cigars.

Yeah, you would probably have to go to an actual cigar shop. You just have to google and see if there's one near you.

The Triple Maduro makes me lightheaded. It's a hell of a cigar!

Yes, they make me "mellow". The one that gets me every time are the 601 Blue labels. Everyone I've smoked, I've gotten sick from. LOTS of nic in there. Next time, I'll drink a Dr Pepper or Root Beer with it.

It'll get sillier and sillier, and then the mood'll change mid-afternoon tomorrow.

Guaranteed.

That looks amazing.    I will have to go seek that out. I also love the A Turrent Triple Maduros robusto and toros.

I just found the A. Turrent triple mads on jrcigars.com. I'd like to try one, but their box price is $151.20 for the 6x60s- $7.50 a stick!

Wish they had a 5-pack or sampler.

It's gonna be busy here on Tuesday. So I'm going to say goodbye to Mitt Romney now.

Dear Mitt Romney,

Well, it's November 5, and that can only mean that your lifelong quest to become President of the United States will die its death tomorrow night. No, for real. Take my advice and don't try to talk to anyone about starting the war chest for 2016. It's not going to work out any better. You are not going to be President of the United States. Not now, not ever. I know, you really really really wanted it. The thing is, though, really really really wanting something is not enough. You can want shit like crazy, but that doesn't mean you have the power to make it happen. Most of us have already learned this. You've been protected by privilege so long, though, that I suppose you might not have learned it yet. Ah well. You'll have that lesson down by Wednesday.

You were a terrible candidate. You were chosen more or less by default from a field crowded with people whose overt radical-right insanity made them nonviable in a general election. The people who chose you didn't really know why you should be POTUS, and you didn't really know either (except see above, re: really really really wanting it). You spent the entire campaign lurching from one position to another, driven by a purely mercenary and cynical hunger for financial and popular support. All politicians are chameleons to some extent; but you really took it to a brand new place. Most lying politicians at least have an ideologically coherent persona that they are trying to use these lies to maintain. You were so eager to tell the magic lie that would put you over the top that you actually destroyed your own ability to make a meaningful statement. About anything. By the end, your language was so completely evacuated of any verifiable content that you might as well just have stopped talking. During the third presidential debate--especially in the last ten minutes--you could have been reciting Vogon poetry and it would have made just about as much sense.

At the end of the campaign, here are the only things that the American electorate can say for sure are true about you: 1) You are white. 2) You are rich. 3) You lie. 4) You think 47% of the people in the US should **** off and die.

That's not a winning platform in twenty-first century America, Mitt.

As far as political theater goes, your campaign had its moments. Clint Eastwood vs. Empty Chair. The "charity" photo-ops staged for you and Ryan. Firing Big Bird. Can You Say That A Little Louder, Candy. Horses and bayonets. Binders full of women. I used to really relish this stuff; it provided so much great fodder for political satire and cultural analysis. But I have a five year old daughter, and I no longer find this bullshit amusing.

Because, Mitt, you are also on tape mocking Obama for wanting to "slow the rise of the oceans," and being uproariously applauded for it. I grew up in New York, across the sound from Long Island. Everyone in my immediate family has lived in Manhattan at some point in their adult lives. And to you and all those laughing people, Mitt, I have this to say: **** you. Seriously. If you don't think climate change is a real problem, you have no business being near any elected office in this country. We heard so little about climate change in this election, and there's just no political will in Congress or, really, outside of it to push us toward the massive, foundational, infrastructure-altering changes we'd have to make in our daily lives to slow the rise of the oceans. And you want to make stupid ****ing jokes about it. I love this planet the way it is. I do not think I will love the planet PJ's going to be coping with when she's my age. It seems even too muhc to hope for, some days, that in 38 years most people in this country will still be able to buy food, and there will be a few beautiful things left.

So no, I do not think it's hilarious that Obama promised to "slow the rise of the oceans." I only ****ing hope we can still do it.

And what keeps the oceans rising? A lot of things; but certainly you are one of them, Mitt, with your whole-souled commitment to the worst kind of chew-it-up-and-shit-it-out capitalism, to a rapacity that strives to convert the whole planet into money, to the cynical gaming of an already corrupt system. Certainly you, Mitt, consumer of companies, hoarder of resources, high priest of unequal distribution. So don't let the superstorm hit you in the ass on your way out.

I could talk about what a disaster you are on women's issues; but what's the point? You're done. Get out of the spotlight. Go find George W., wherever the hell the party goons are keeping HIM, and you can lick your wounds together.

I'm sorry. I'm being so negative. I should think of something good to say about you. Well, Mitt, there is one thing I will miss about you:

link:

Without you, Mitt, I probably wouldn't ever have found out about "Gangam Style." And I certainly wouldn't have enjoyed it as much or as often as I have.

Goodbye, Mitt. I would like to say it's been nice knowing you. But that would be a lie so big even you wouldn't tell it.

Here's what people will be saying tomorrow night at about 12:30am

"That was a very gracious concession speech by Romney! If THAT Romney had been out the whole campaign, Obama might have lost!"

I remember at this time four years ago we were all predicting that McCain would either not concede or be a dick in his concession. But he was very gracious.

Willard will be gracious too. Bank on it.

I really don't think he'll be gracious at all. In fact, I think he'll try to contest the results.

6. mccain had already accepted he lost when he did SNL

remember the skits ?

but as bad as mccain can be i don't think he is on the level of romney and bush. there is a decency in him that shows at certain times which you never get from romney. things like defending the woman who is muslim and works for hillary when people like bachmann were attacking her . that moment with the "he's an arab" woman.

but mentally and emotionally i think Romney will be far worse off. because he did feel entitled. mccain didn't feel this way.

13. There is a decent, if misguided, soul inside McCain.

Remember when his fellow Republicans were insisting that Obama was a gay muslim or some other such ridiculous thing?

McCain said, and I believe it was on the floor in the Senate, that Obama was a Christian and a good family man.

I don't agree with McCain on many issues, but he isn't a sociopath.

There is clearly something wrong with Robmey.

Does anybody remember this much benevolence towards McCain in 2008?

7. I'm not going to bank on that one

I think he's going to be as much of an ass as he's been throughout with his wife scowling at him because he didn't buy her a queenship,I mean First Lady. She's pissed.

Why Romney's event in Pittsburgh means he has lost PA

He is taking dozens of his on-the-ground staff away from the GOTV efforts a winning campaign needs and forcing them to man an event for a couple hours.

That's a couple hours, in a state that does NOT have early voting at all, where they are abandoning their GOTV effort in Western PA for a few critical hours.

If he had a chance in PA, there is NO WAY he would pull such critical resources off the battlefield.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021726003

Or not.

In 2008, back before America knew Obama was a do-nothing, know-nothing who dictates fairy tales from the golf course PA looked like this:

(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d4/Pennsylvania_Presidential_Election_Results_by_County%2C_2008.svg/200px-Pennsylvania_Presidential_Election_Results_by_County%2C_2008.svg.png)

IOW, even under optimal conditons Obama never had western PA.

Romney pulling staffers is a shift to expand the map into formerly blue territory.

Even though things didn't go as I wanted them to go, I had a wonderful evening with my teenage son.....he'll be conservative for life. We stayed up until midnight and he got a wonderful lesson in "stupid people".

We watched TV and two computers.....he wasn't happy either but he was laughing most of the night watching the former Soviet Citizen confront the Wall Street Occuppoopers.

1787-2012 RIP USA.

225 years was a good long run and about as long as a democracy has lasted in world history.

I sure had it wrong. I thought turnout would be higher for Romney but it was not. 0bama fired up his base and sadly Romney did not. I had not calculated the damage that was done in the last four years to the electorate.  Maybe now we could actually have a conservative and not a moderate run for president. This is the second time this strategy failed us. I think that those extra 3 million republican voters that turned out in 08 was due 100% to Palin. Romney shunned Palin and the Tea Party and his positions on 90% of the issues was almost identical to Obama. Team Obama just manipulated their base so much better.

Get ready for Boehner to be rolled on every issue that comes up as the MSM really puts the screws to him and the party.

The only good part. For all the DUmmies and other liberals (BIRM) giddy about how The Won is going to finally "get shit done," they don't realized that not a damn thing has changed. Unless he rules by EO fiat (good chance there) everything is the same as it was when we went to bed 5 Nov. Status quo ante bitches. You've won nothing.

Me, as a woman with no political base or wealthey friends to help had no choice. I just went to bed early with the pets, opened the window to let in the cold air, closed the bedroom door and turned off the TV.  A comfort to me that Hubby came to bed and snored like a weed eater,  all was well ,clean air, comfortable blankets and all in one spot. Dog snores and Cats do twitch but it was a good night winters sleep.

Morning came, up at 3 AM and Hubby had to tell me the bad news.----What a bitch, I instead of a cup off coffee grabbed me a beer.
