I'm Going to Toot My Own Horn Here Just a Bit
Advertisements [?]Edited on Sun May-18-08 12:27 PM by petgoat
Almost 18 months ago I shared these sketches, which didn't
go over very well here.
I'm not an engineer. I've worked in construction and read
lots of books on building and I operate a lot in the failure
mode through taking on the repair of hopelessly broken stuff
other people consider garbage, and when I'm building stuff
for my own use I deliberately underbuild it to try to generate
instructive failures. My first project was as a
five-year-old--a chair that provided an interesting (and
instant) shear failure when I sat on it.
I have reason to believe that one of these days you're going to
see some diagrams from more authoritative sources that look
something like these.

6. You wouldn't know why there are two rakes.

Clearly you can't see that for the top of the tower to fall through the
lower part of the tower would not be like a piledriver pounding a pile
but like trying to pound a rake with another rake.
Actually, since the lower rake is more robust than the pounding rake,
this updated version is more apt.

Apparently this proves MIHOP or LIHOP, meh who needs chicken wire anyway?
-
Petgoat: The DUmmie who wants the world to know he's a DUmmie but is too lazy to get out of the basement and build a chicken-wire replica.
-
The guys an engineer and can't afford either a CAD program or Adobe Photoshop?
-
Apparently this proves MIHOP or LIHOP, meh who needs chicken wire anyway?
It was too expensive. Probably couldn't afford the kerosene, anyway. :rotf:

I would dare to assume that most of us here are in the upper 1%-20% of the population intelligence-wise. We must come to the realization that the majority of the population is in the lower 80% to 99% percent of the bell-curve. WE are not the norm. The Republicans understand that the average American is not very bright. They cater and pander to the masses. The Democratic Party tries to appeal to the population about "issues" that these people just don't understand.

He should just do what every other DUmmie does and pirate himself a copy, then claim he is stickin' it to Da man.
-
With such l33t paintbrush skills as this DUmmie clearly possesses he has no need for Autocad or Correldraw, let alone chicken wire and kero.

The "Forrest Gump" line says it all...stupid is as stupid does... no matter how much they try to pretend otherwise they always have idiocy as their foundations. :rotf: :rotf:

Well damn that explains everything. How could I have missed that all this time! It was right in front of my face!
Bush really did do 9/11 and Underground panther is actually a male groundhog in a female human body!

Pardon me whilst I whip this out... (/Blazing Saddles)

People equipped only with kazoos should avoid tooting their horns, it annoys the grown-ups.
-
did petgoat take the brown acid?
what the hell is that supposed to be? I mean really?
And did anyone notice the misspelling of "sheer". He spelled it "shear".
-
What in God's name was that all about?
And then the one DUmmie wanking on how they are the top 1% of the human race in the brains department...I mean really- WTF?
:mental:
-
I believe it's a troofer post, and the moron thinks the towers should have failed in the middle by spreading out horizontally at the point of impact, instead of collapsing more-or-less vertically with relatively little horizontal dispersion above ground level. It's the work of a world-class buffoon, and no more an engineer than TiT was a SEAL.

One day soon these will replace the Rorschach inkblot test.

H5 for freedumb's amazingly lifelike sketch. :lmao:

No, Dixie, I think that might actually have been correct in this context, which I finally figured out. "Shear" as in physics, a stress force.
(It only took dumb ol' me about eight posts to figure out that those grossly rudimentary drawings are supposed to illustrate why 9/11 couldn't have happened the way it did without a set-up implosion.)
What they actually illustrate is that petgoat is not only a crappy draftsman and non-genius, he's probably mentally ill into the bargain.
-
well kudos to you for figuring it out! LOL. I honestly read "shear failure" and thought, "utter failure", not a mechanical description. Then again, I'm not a civil engineer tee hee. I doubt the goat is either but hey...

Re: I'm Going to Toot My Own Horn Here Just a Bit
I can't even reach mine.

... and I operate a lot in the failure mode
What more is there to know? Guy just summarized liberalism in brief fashion.

You don't need to be daring to assume anything, otherwise you're just going to continue to believe things about yourself that simply has no basis in reality. But please, keep viewing yourself in that fashion. Makes my job as a conservative thinking circles around you that much easier.

It was too expensive. Probably couldn't afford the kerosene, anyway. :rotf:
That horrible * economy. :(
Therein lies the conspiracy of the high fuel costs. I was in on a top secret meeting (actually it was sooper top secret) where the heads of NSA, FBI, CIA and other agencies realized the DUmmies were on to them and were going to crack the truth of 911. What was decided was to get fuel prices soooo high that the DUmmies couldn't afford the fuel it would take to replicate the twin towers again. There has been a full court press to get the chicken wire demonstration removed from the internets. Can't have information like that floating around out there.
