Are you ever SHOCKED by how butt-ignorant *SOME* young people are?

A few weeks ago I was at the Safeway. I always get help out to the car with the groceries because it gives someone a job and it's one less opportunity to screw up my back.
This girl was helping me out to the car and we were chatting. She asked what I had been up to over the weekend and I said that I had spent most of the weekend listening to Christian sermons.
SHE SAID, "WHAT'S A SERMON?"
Then today I was getting coffee on my way out of town and I went into a local coffee shop and I was chatting with the barista and she said "What are you up to today?"
I said, "Well, I'm going to Ashland to see a play about Lyndon Johnson."
SHE SAID, "WHO'S THAT?"
Both of these girls were white Americans who had graduated from high school.
What the hell did they do every day for 13 years? It sure wasn't learning anything.

Hey DUmmy who runs the schools?
That's right the democrats have been running education for years and years.
At least they know how to put a rubber on a piece of fruit and have great self esteem though. :whatever:

Liberal family values.
-
Of course it was important to point out that both girls were white.....
-
Was their teacher named Pam?
-
So if they were black or Asian, they would of known the answers?
-
I had someone I work with singing that insipid "Move Like Jagger" song, then asked who Jagger was.
She had never heard of the Rolling Stones.
-
So if they were black or Asian, they would of known the answers?
No, apparently the girls should have known because they were white. If they were a minority the DUmmie would have given them a pass.
-
Thats good to know that LBJ has been scrubbed from curriculum, although I remember our high school only taught the older american history we barely got up to LBJ.

We can give you the answer, but:
A). You will never admit it is the truth.
B). Your head will explode.
I said, "Well, I'm going to Ashland to see a play about Lyndon Johnson."
Ummm.....ahhhh.....sigh.....
Whaaaaa? Who puts on a play about Lyndon Johnson?
Ultimate Liberal Douchnozzle Productions presents:
I'll have them n******rs voting Democrat for the next 200 years.
Theater of the Oblong.
-
Whaaaaa? Who puts on a play about Lyndon Johnson?
The same liberals that book Ray Stevens and then go online to bitch when they find out who he is.
-
So if they were black or Asian, they would of known the answers?
Asian, yes. Black, no.
According to this DUmmy, who lies all the time, white, no.
The idea of a DUmpmonkey, with nearly fifty-six thousand posts, spending a weekend listening to Christian sermons is beyond ludicrous.
If true, it would mean instant banning.
-
I don't know what is worse. The fact two kids didn't know the answers or that someone wrote a play about LBJ,one of the worse President to lead our military in many years until the current one.
-
Thats good to know that LBJ has been scrubbed from curriculum, although I remember our high school only taught the older american history we barely got up to LBJ.
Oh, well...maybe that's why they have to put on a play.

I was gonna say.
-
The same liberals that book Ray Stevens and then go online to bitch when they find out who he is.
I reckon.
...and their lack of general knowledge never seems to bother them much, as they are so chock full-o-self esteem.
Huh.
-
So if they were black or Asian, they would of known the answers?
If they weren't white, pointing out what they didn't know would have been RACIST! :racist: :waisis:
The accusation of racism totally beats TRUTH every time...in a liberal "mind."
Besides, the left owns the NEA, they can't admit that they are deliberately raising up kids that don't know history, civics, math, science...and can't read. :banghead:

I asked a coworker if she had any index cards. She asked me what an index card was. ::)

A DUmmy going to church? :???:

A card shaped like a finger?

Brings up a good point, the left removed God from school so her not knowing what a sermon is, is no surprise.

Okay, folks, a lesson in primitivity, this time re: the NanceGreggs phenomenon:
I always get help out to the car with the groceries because it gives someone a job and it's one less opportunity to screw up my back.
The NanceGregg phenomenon is that the primitives always shroud their real motive with a cloak of nobility.
It's based upon the long-gone NanceGregg primitive's frequent assertion that she moved to Canada because she hated George Bush (this was years and years ago) and couldn't stand living in the same country as George Bush.....when in fact she moved to Canada because her husband had a job there.
Get the idea?
So here we have a primitive who insists she shops at Safeway "because it gives someone a job," as if the primitive actually goes out of her way to do so.
How much does one want to bet that the primitive shops at Safeway because it's convenient to her, and simply by happy coincidence (for the primitive in telling the tale), that Safeway offers such a service?
-
So if they were black or Asian, they would of known the answers?
No, no.
I think the implication was the whites should have known...
...ergo we have much lower expactations for non-whites.
-
Thats good to know that LBJ has been scrubbed from curriculum, although I remember our high school only taught the older american history we barely got up to LBJ.
Um, for some of us he was called 'current events'. :whistling:
Liberals would love to ignore Landslide Lyndon and do so at every turn. Not me, "Hey, Hey, LBJ. How many kids did you kill today??"
My story of the day is asking a cashier if they knew who's images were on the change they were giving me. I had given them three Lincolns for a bill of $14.94 so I said, you know the penny and nickle? I guess that I could figure the change before it popped up on the display rattled the poor thing who guessed, "Washigton and Kennedy"?
I am no longer shocked. Saddened, but not shocked.

What party do the Teachers and Administrators adhere to?

2. Why would a sermon be mentioned in a public school?
It's not applicable to anything.
"All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state."
Benito Mussolini

75. I've taught for 23 years
and I've NEVER seen the word "sermon" on any word list.
Then they start to squabble. It's pretty funny. Bob the geek stands steadfastly behind his censorship of the word "sermon" in his "classroom" because it shows that the separation of Church and State still stands. He lives in Connecticut.

313. I'm beginning to understand the complaints about public education.
...
You don't have to be religious to know what the phrase "walk on water" means. It's used in various contexts to mean different things. "He thinks he's so hot, you'd think he walks on water."

337. that's another one
I haven't heard in a while...
Seems to be a bit of a cultural divide.
Maybe up here in CT, we have better things to do than endlessly talk about religion.
He's such an asshole. Stubborn, too.

284. Where are you getting your degree from?
What's your advisor's name?
Mind if I send him or her a link to this thread and find out what he or she thinks?
Someone called Xema out on the "white" thing, and she said, "yeah, you're right."
It's an extremely big bonfire.

I asked a coworker if she had any index cards. She asked me what an index card was. ::)
My kids didnt know how to address an envelope. That was my fault, I always addressed the envelopes when they would write thank you notes. It has since been rectified.

I've mentioned this before. Twice now I've had recent high school graduates ask me what time that clock on the wall says. They couldn't tell because it wasn't digital. :hammer:

Whatever you do, don't ask them to explain "Clockwise" vs. "Counter-Clockwise" to you. :fuelfire:

Holy crap.
Someone made fun of me a few days ago for wearing a watch. They told me that watches don't have a purpose anymore since you can check the time on a cell phone. ::)

At the Vets office last year part of the check in procedure is to weigh the dog, well my dog does not like the feel and movement of the Stainless Steel scale/platform. I asked if I could pick him up and get on the scale with him and the vet tech said she just needed the dogs weight :whatever:.
I then asked her to humor me. She weighed the both of us and then I put the dog down and asked her to weigh just me and told her to subtract the two weights to figure out the dogs weight. I literally laughed out loud when she pulled up the calculator and punched in the numbers and proudly proclaimed "see that did not work I ended up with a negative number". By the way my dog weighed in at 95lbs!

Should have asked her if there was a "TARE" button on the scale. You step on, hit the button to zero it out, then pick up the dog.

I just weighed our dog the same way here at home today. She weighs about 40 pounds, time for a diet since that is heavy for a Beagle.

As my vet would say, 'you rasing a coffee table?" Yeah, that is heavy for a beagle. I have finally trained my girl to go directly to the scale when we go to the vet. She hops on and sits just as pretty as a picture. :whatever:

Good idea although I am considering myself lucky that she knew what a negative number was. The aha moment on her face when she finally did figure it out was priceless though.

Tara doesn't mind the moving table, she'll ride it from the floor up to exam level. She's not a problem for the vet or assistants other than jumping up and trying to lick their faces. She's a very friendly Beagle.

I'm shocked at how willfully ignorant the DUmmies are every time I read the DUmpster. If young people are ignorant it is, no doubt, because they are being educated by DUmmies.
-
Besides, the left owns the NEA, they can't admit that they are deliberately raising up kids that don't know history, civics, math, science...and can't read. :banghead:
This is the same group that complains constantly about not getting their message across. They completely ignore their own culpability.

I once tried to "help" a young cashier by giving her a $20 BILL and a DIME for a charge of $19.10, poor thing was so confused I took the dime back.
Where is all that "education" money going ?
.

The third worst president in modern times, in my opinion, even worse than Carter, but not as bad as FDR or Obama.
