This is my first post using that Excel program I have for auto-downloading and putting together a DUmmie thread. This post took less than 6 minutes to write, INCLUDING my comments. All formatting had been done automatically.

I'm sure that you can count the fingers on one, "perhaps" two, hands of EVERYONE you know who actually believes that Joe Biden is an effective, intelligent, articulate vice president and all-around great dude. Personally, Bozo the Clown had more presidential appeal, but I digress. The DUmpmonkeys have decided to see who would love to have a beer with him, and there were more people in this thread than visited Obama in the beer tent in Iowa. So maybe the OP has a point...

Check in if you LOVE Joe Biden...
I used to think it was stupid when people said of a candidate, "He's the kind of guy you'd like to have a beer with" as though that was somehow an important part of governance.
But just let me say that having a beer with Joe Biden is officially on my bucket list. I love the guy.
And, Joe, I'm buying!
Ahhh, if you are buying, make sure you cash your unemployment check first. Most bars still have that "In God we trust, all others pay cash" signs by the ding-a-ling.

I'm all for Joe!
Haven't had a beer with him, but have been to a ballgame with him.
You mean you know he's the Famous Chicken, right?

Me too!
And I *don't* want to have a Grape Crush with Mittens!
Er...not gonna even bother with Freddie's moronic admission here (though Freddie is a girl; the name is her cat's name)

They're scared of him
Biden is going to tear Ryan to shreds in the debate and use a tattered copy of Atlas Shrugged to mop Ryan's tears off the floor.

What's not to love about a fundamentally honest and generous person?
He's one of a vanishingly small number of "public servants" in elected office these days. He's almost a 'throwback' to the post-WW2 era when returning GIs saw, up close and personal, what happens when people with genuine and egalitarian public interest don't get involved in their own political systems.
Sometimes, in a democracy, we actually get better than we deserve. Biden is an example.
Yes, Joe Biden is DEFINITELY better than we conservatives deserve!! He's the funniest gaffer in VP history!!

At first I wanted BHO to pick Hillary
But choosing Joe was one of the best things he ever did (plus Hillary is an awesome S of S).
Joe is our secret weapon. He will destroy Lyin' Ryan in the debates. Plus the likability factor alone--sweet Joe vs. that weaseley-eyed worm.
Boars, unicorns, and a red man with horns and a stuck tongue...

I love him because he is genuine.
So many politicians try to be that but Joe really is. He is not a gaffe-machine to me like the media says. He says what he really feels and is not over polished and robotic like so many politicians are today (Romney and Ryan specifically).
Gee...my 8 year old nephew is not overly polished and robotic and he says what he really feels too... guess that makes him as intelligent as the VP...

I love Joe
He has a lot of heart and a real passion for the people, something so seldom found today in politicians. I think he was extra courteous to Palin in the VP debate, but I think you will see a much more aggressive debate with Ryan.
"Extra courteous" to Palin means he got flattened like a steamroller

Drinking beer with the Bidet would be a riot. :cheersmate:
The piker doesn't even have to get tipsy before he would make a fool of himself and cause the drunkest of barflys to laugh.
-
If that crippled fellow had stood up for Joe...Obama, The One, would have taken the credit for healing him.
-
And here we see the results of having a couple with SloJoe. Anyone got a lampshade?

I suspect there is a reason SloJoe always rode the train. :-)
And from the greatest hits reel there is this.

Biden is going to tear Ryan to shreds in the debate
:rotf:
I am not rowing over and getting that shit all over me. That was nauseating. DUmmies, you need some kneepads.
-
I too think Joe Biden should remain on the ticket.
-
When it appears you need to wear protective headgear at all times, then it is rather obvious you are not vice-presidential material.
-

Stand up Chuck is the best of the worst. Every time I see the clip a laugh hysterically followed by a facepalm.
-
That dumbbass Biden is the person who caused me to wake up and become a conservative republican. I remember him chairing the committee that ultimately approved Clarence Thomas, he was an idiot then, and he is an idiot now.
-

Actually the toes of one hand would suffice for that.

OK, 1st of all Hillary sucks as Secretary of State.
Now DU people, Sarah Palin came out yesterday saying Biden should be replaced, other Republicans followed her in saying the same thing, reading around the various boards, at 1st people were horrified that Sarah would do that, why would she come out and say something like that knowing that the replacement would be Hillary and Hillary would add some enthusiasm to an otherwise unenthusiastic campaign, then some people started coming forward and saying it was brilliant on Sarah's part to do that, her saying that ensures that Obama won't replace Biden, he'd be taking the advice of Sarah Palin and other Republicans :lmao:

Agreed...I hope they gargle when they are done. Geez what a bunch of idiots.
-
Do you think they drilled too deep for the plugs? :naughty:
You could drill down to the depth of the Marianas Trench and still not hit anything in Biden's head, other than a vacuum.
-
Do you think they drilled too deep for the plugs? :naughty:
I think the roots of Biden's stupid goes deeper than plugs.
-
I joked that the Ryan pick had Biden wetting his pants over the debate. I think that the man is in meltdown mode. I can't wait to hear from the insiders about what Biden has been doing behind the scenes these last several days.

Someone posted this picture of him on DU (from The Onion)...
When I searched for the picture I found this too.

I never saw this from The Onion LINK (http://www.theonion.com/articles/shirtless-biden-washes-trans-am-in-white-house-dri,2718/) :rotf:
They are also saying how hot he is/was, but they are serious. ::)

That was exactly, my first thought when I heard about it.
Sarah just saddled them up with an albatross. :rotf:

What would be the more odious job:
Being Biden's poor, beleagured press agent....
or...
Being Debbie Wasserman Shultz's poor, beleagured husband?

Kind of a six of one and a half a dozen of the other thing there.
One you get screwed by and the other one you can screw.

Therein lies the comedy.

I'll take death.
