Title: Roast of Roseanne
Post by: Revolution on August 09, 2012, 11:56:44 PM
Anybody watching? I've got nothing better to do at 9pm on a Sunday freaking night. There's probably better stuff on, but I'll take a bit of sadistic pleasure in seeing her get abused.

Roast of what?  Did anyone file the proper environmental impact statements first?

They all equal the same thing - Fugly and untalented.

Candy Crowley - 'She is vegetarian and practices Transcendental Meditation'. She must not be much of a vegetarian, as she still weighs 400 pounds.

She just grazes while she meditates, that's all.

I used to really like these and even held my nose at recent ones - there's no way I'd watch this.  I can't stand Roseanne.

And the pig has a shitty attitude.

And a mouth that makes an apple look like a cherry.

I don't like them at all.  I don't want to tune in to see Betty White using the F word.

Agreed - there is something very unsettling about Betty White talk dirty.

Yeah.  She's on the one yard line as it is.  Why does she throw banana peels on her path to the end zone?

Jeff Ross did hit her good with one that apparently, she didn't like.

"So how many personalaties do you have? 8...9, what is it? What are the odds they'd all be ****s?"

:rotf: I did laugh out loud. Truth is funny.

Quote
COMEDIAN WAYNE BRADY BOOED FOR TRIG PALIN JOKE

Anyone who buys a ticket to attend a Comedy Central roast knows pretty much what to expect.
No topic is off limits.

Still, common decency doesn't necessarily take a holiday during these events. Consider the Sunday night broadcast of Comedy Central's Roseanne Barr roast.
Comic Wayne Brady, best known for his improv skills, told a joke during the telecast that was so cruel the audience quickly filled the hall with boos, not just laughter.

During Brady's remarks, he was making fun of fellow roaster Jeff Ross.

"Now the thing is Jeff," said Brady, "these are all jokes, and I really like you. I really, really like you. But a lot of people hate you, especially Sarah Palin because you remind her of what Trig is going to look like when he’s 40."

This was greeted with a mixture of laughs and boos from the highly-partisan crowd leading Brady to say, “Oh, now you boo me? F—k y’all. I don’t want to hear that. These people say all of this s—t about me, and you boo me because of Trig.”

Yeah, they were never for the weak, but they have turned into completely tasteless wastes of time.

I'd rather watch old reruns of the Roasts that Dean Martin presided over than watch these newer ones.

Just watch any of these old clips.

youtube~Dean Martin Roasts (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dean+martin+roast&oq=dean+martin+roast&gs_l=youtube.3..0l10.2711.8497.0.10310.19.11.1.7.8.0.66.627.11.11.0...0.0...1ac.iyk0fS60WmA)

Even when it seemed they were being mean, you could still sense that they really liked the person.

I quit watching the new roasts after seeing Bea Author dropping the F-Bombs at one. I also agree, the old ones with Dean Martin were great.

Out of all the people I watched on TV while growing up. Her and Bob Saget were the worse. I have never heard anyone drop the F-Bomb as much as they did. I was floored.

Bea Arthur was a vicious liberal.

It suprised the hell out of me when I actually first found out who Saget really was. I always thought he was the questionably gay, but mild mannered Danny Tanner. How wrong...OH how wrong I was. He's actually a queer, disgusting, foul mouthed for no reason, libtard, prick.

Who, Harry Scary Reid?

Fixed, and I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere down the line, it comes out that he fondles kids.

I would imagine she doesn't smell too good either, being dead and all.

Her body was cremated.  What was left was ground up into small chunks and bits of bone.  No fuss. No odor.  Just bone gravel in a pretty jar.

You felt that way also? I was SHOCKED to put it mildly.
