I'm sorry I try not to post anything the Wasila hillbilly says, but the irony of the vapid, uninformed, ignorant Palin, who couldn't hack being Governor of Alaska so she resigned half way thru her first term--calling one of the most talented and accomplished women in politics a 'dingbat' is too delicious.

I thought Sara was quite nice about it. Showed some humility. Was humble. If it were me, uh, they'd have to hit the "censored" sound button almost every other word. Fox News would have turned into an episode of South Park.

She has done nothing of note in her career besides being a failed half-term governor and one of the biggest VP busts of all-time. Now, she just shows up on TV and gives speeches and makes millions in the process. **** her.

A debate would be hirlarious, since Palin has demonstrated a pretty clear ability to think and articulate well on her feet, while Skeletor follows the Obama mold and just spazzes out completely if she has to depart from her prepared remarks.

In every gene pool, there are always folks like you that come up for air in the shallow end.  I was born and raised urban.  Schooled Catholic and went to high school 2 grades ahead of everyone else public schooled (sorry, it's true).  I just got lazy and kinda blew off serious study in high school, that being my natural state.  I've had Humanities, Classical Art and Literature,  Music, Calc, Analytic Geometry (7th-8th Grade), 2 years of Architecture, 2 years of Mechanical Drafting and drew up working blueprints for three homes (and built one of them sophomore year) , before I graduated. Remember, DUmmies, this was when 4 years of English, 2 of a Foreign Language, 4 years of Mathematics, 4 years of Science (ACTUAL Science mind you) and a minimum of 3 years of History were required.

Since then, I have lived in nothing but rural and small town areas.  I will never, ever live urban ever again.  I can tell you, without fear of contradiction, that rural folks are many orders of magnitude smarter than urban people.  There is a simple elegance to rural living that cuts out the noise of life that gets in the way of problem solving and some of the most intelligent people I have ever met are rural folks.  You see, being smart has absolutely nothing to do with formal education past a certain point.  Most of you drooling infants have a hard time matching wits with the Deliverance Boy, much less some sage old dude who simply runs a back-forty junkyard.  I can further guarantee you we are happier, too!

No, Sarah Palin is one smart woman.   :cheersmate:  I have met very few on her par.

And guess what?

She's almost always right.

Suck on that, mongoloids, as the frustration builds.  :lol:

If we were going to be "up in arms", it would have been when the dried-up old never-was Sandra Bernhard called on her "black brothers" to gang-rape Sarah Palin if she showed up in NYC.

It wasn't that she couldn't hack it (The fact that she had an 87% approval rating as governor before the 2008 campaign is proof of this); It was that she was tired of disguting, heartless, liberal jackasses like you DUmmies slinging vile, obscene insults at not just her, but her CHILDREN!
Up until the 2008 election, it was generally considered okay in political debate to insult a politician as long as it wasn't a racial/ ethnic slur or a death threat or anything; However, it was considered kind of a rule that said politician's children were generally off limits for such treatment (Unless it's a politician's thirtysomething son getting arrested for DUI or something), because they have done nothing, and were thrust into the spotlight against their will because of who their parents were. It was a good policy to have.
Once Sarah Palin entered the race, however, that rule was thrown right out the window. It was considered perfectly okay for liberals to openly insult Palin's children in the most digusting, bigoted terms imaginable, for lecherous talk show hosts like David Letterman to make jokes about her underaged daughter being impregnated, and for Huffington Post's forum to make separate threads for each member of the Palin family, each one jam- packed with revolting insults (i.e. One for her son track had a few posters claiming he's gay).
Not even Trig, a mentally handicapped baby, was spared from the left's hate and venom. On the contrary, they saved their most vicious, heartless insults for him, everything from a constant barrage of "Laugh at the retard" jokes (As someone with mild learning disabilities who was picked on for them as a kid, I think there's a special section of Hell reserved for people who make those kinds of jokes), to claiming that he was the son of Bristol rather than Sarah, to some DUmmies even having the gall to claim that the reason for Trig's mental disability was that he was supposedly the product of incest between Bristol and Track. Rot in Hell, DUmmies.

Failed?
1. As I noted, her approval rating as governor before being McCain's running mate was 87%.
2. She helped negotiate an oil- drilling contract that brought a buttload of money and jobs into her state.
3. She helped root out and expose political corruption in both parties within Alaska's government.
She did a hell of a lot more than Obama did before he decided he wanted to be president.
