Scott Walker Recall: Obama Campaign Gets Involved

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama's re-election campaign is jumping into the Wisconsin recall, focusing on educating and registering voters in advance of the June 5 election.
Tripp Wellde, the Wisconsin state director for the Obama campaign, sent an email to supporters on Thursday night to get them fired up to support Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, the Democratic nominee looking to unseat Gov. Scott Walker (R). From Wellde's email:
The next election here in Wisconsin is coming up on June 5th -- and it's important to make sure your voice is heard.
For the last year and a half, Governor Walker has divided Wisconsin -- siding with big corporations and the super-rich at the expense of working, middle-class families. He's broken our trust in state government: Too many Wisconsin families are out of work, students face crowded classrooms, and working men and women will be hurt by cuts to health care funding.
We can do better. Together, we'll work to elect Tom Barrett, who will stand up for all Wisconsinites as governor -- and that starts with getting the word out now about what's at stake on June 5th.
Wellde also issued a statement on Tuesday, after Barrett's victory in the Democratic primary, saying, "President Obama is proud to stand with Tom Barrett and the hundreds of thousands of Wisconsin families who are coming together to move Wisconsin forward."

Now that Barry is involved, this will make it even sweeter when Walker isn't shown the door next month. :-)

10. It's good for the Obama campaign as well...
They are all creaming their panties over this. :rotf:
-
With Obama involved, you will see bus loads of illegal aliens and people from other states going to Wisconsin to vote against Walker.

I wish I could say that was far fetched.

We already know how this will pan out when Walker is re-affirmed as governer. :lmao:

Kiss of death to the Dems. Stop and think about it DUmmies. Think of the other candidates Obama has come out to support since he was president.

Watch what happens in California on Monday, when Governor Moonbeam there announces some really big budget cuts--in social services, in education, in state employees, whatnot.
Apparently a projected $9 billion shortfall is now $16 billion, or something like that.
I'm sure that if Bela Pelosi were still Speaker of the House, the Democrats still controlling that body, Governor Moonbeam would've approached them, asking the U.S. taxpayers to bail them out.
But happily that option doesn't exist any more.

From your lips to God's ear, BEG.

From your lips to God's ear, BEG.
Yeah.
Wasn't there a congressional district in New York City that had been (D) since God was a boy, that abruptly switched (R) in a special election to replace a disgraced (D) congressman?
I believe the Magic One even went there in person to campaign.

Ding Ding Ding! Just ask Jon Corzine, Ted Strickland, and pretty much every single Congressional rep he "helped" in 2010. This is now a lock.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
So Obama is going to stump for the candidate that ran away from the Unions?
-
Sounds like Team Obama is now searching for ANY win.
It could also be a signal that Obama is going to formally endorse 'Occupy' next.
-
This is a disgrace! When is the last time a sitting POTUS interfered in state politics to this extent?
Send the P0ser back to France or Kenya, or wherever he came from.
-
Ok lurkers...don't get a moist spot in your panties just yet...let's remember:
Walker ran unopposed and still garnered more votes than the two Libtards combined.
Tom Barrett wasn't even the Union (read Obama) backed candidate and he won the Lib nomination. Richard Trumpka blew $10 million on the candidate that finished third in a two man race.
Obama sticking his nose into this won't help...he's just very effectively distracting you idiots from the fact he's doing very very badly in his own election.

NY-9. Anthony Weiner's seat, which is now being redistricted out of existence. The Republican who won that seat is now running against Kirsten Gillibrand for her Senate seat. Longshot, but maybe possible.
ETA--IIRC, Scott Walker's government has a budget surplus, as well, for this fiscal year. That will stick in the minds of the good people of Wisconsin.

Also, from some of the stuff I've seen, an untold number of Rs crossed over to vote in the Dem primary to beat the union candidate.

After a tough primary season O should be up by 15 points.
Not making any predictions this early on but he is in a tough place and not very helpful to anybody.

The Kenyans are mad at him:

Kenyan muslim clerics fault Obama on gay marriage
Kenyan Muslim leaders from the coast region have condemned President Barack Obama’s support of same sex marriages.
Speaking to the Nation in Mombasa, Council of Imams and Preachers Organising Secretary Sheikh Mohammed Khalifa accused President Obama of playing god by legalizing what "God Himself objects".
“Simply because he has risen to be the President of a super power does not mean he can now start acting as God. He is nothing in the eyes of God and his plans will not succeed just like those who preceded him in such plans,†said Sheikh Khalifa.

The cuts and the $9 billion are a ploy.
Notice when he details the cuts he will also request a new tax increase on "the rich" that will raise, coincidentally, $9 billion.
And the cuts will be as unpopular as possible.
It's just like school boards, whose first cuts are always to eliminate football and bus service - never any of the multiple layers of administration.

BINGO!!!
It's not just National Socialist Democrat Party members that are politicians. 0bama also kills any businesses that he visits or even mentions in a speech.
00 truly does have the anti-Midas touch.

Who waqs it that last said they thrive on Dimocrat tears, or something like that.
June 6th, I shall thrive again.

I am so happy we got out of that hell hole.

You should come back. Walker owns this place now! :-) Just stay away from the Mad City, and Barrett Town, and you, and yours should be fine.

I think BEG meant California . . .

The DUmmies do not remember President Ladies Tees endorsed and support Barrett in 2010. What makes them think he will be able to help Barrett over the finish line this year? Other than delusion.

The only companies I heard of on that list are Briggs and Stratton and Solomon Smith Barney (A division of Citi Group). Neither of which I deal with.

Via hotair.com:
“We are frustrated by the lack of support from the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Governors Association,†a top Wisconsin Democratic Party official tells me. “Scott Walker has the full support and backing of the Republican Party and all its tentacles. We are not getting similar support.â€
“Considering that Scott Walker has already spent $30 million and we’re even in the polls, this is a winnable race,†the Wisconsin Dem continues. “We can get outspent two to one or five to one. We can’t get spent 20 to one.â€
According to the Wisconsin Dem, the party has asked the DNC for $500,000 to help with its massive field operation. While the DNC has made generally supportive noises, the money has not been forthcoming, the official says — with less than a month until the June 5th recall election. The DNC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Barrett isn't even worth sinking a mere $500,000 as a show of token support.
That tells you all you need to know about the DNCs estimation of Barrett's odds...and the size of the DNCs warchest.

80% plus of that is reserved for The One, they are playing this election all or nothing on the Presidency and counting on coattails to carry everyone else if they win, instead of spending on Congressional races (With some rare exceptions).

In other words, as the GOP not only has R-Money to tear Obama a new one on the matters of the economy we'll have 435 GOP congressional and 30-some odd senatorial candidates all laying in to Obama virtually unopposed. R-money gets to go for the jugular while the legislative races deliver a death of a thousand cuts just so the Child-king can try to keep all the marbles for himself.
And it's not even as though Obama is running an effective campaign. Every one of their Twitter gimmicks blows-up in their face (but like Wile E. Coyote, they're there with a new one to try again), along with this asinine bullying meme and a thousand other shiny squirrels. Meanwhile, Greece is a harbinger of what California is going to look like and both of those will implode at the height of the campaign season. ObamaCare is looking A) shakey or B) a rallying cry; both of which hurt Obama. LGBT was BFD / WTF. Elizabeth Warren is broadcasting the absurdity of race politics and destroying herself as an icon for the plight of the untermenschen. I'm sure Zimmerman's trial will also be a fiasco for them; which coupled with abortion, the assault of Catholicism and gay marriage shows Hispanics how poorly Obama regards them. The unions, OWS, et al will also get out of control the more ignored they become...ala the Walker Recall.
Liberals yammer about shit nobody cares about, they won't shut the **** up about things that piss people off and when they do finally hit a popular message they alienate their audience.
The arrogance and self-immolation would be breath-taking if it weren't so delicious for our side.
