Just days after being forced to deny charges of racism - after saying the Obamas were finally embracing 'white' fashion - the glossy magazine is showing how open-minded they are by placing a plus-size model on their cover.

That looks like a Photoshopped head on the body. That said if its a real woman she would work for me.

Very likely heavily airbrushed but still I would rather see a real woman like this on a cover than another one of those freak Barbie types that have to be injected with a dose of vitamins just to get them on their feet long enough for the photo shoot before being led back to their bed at the anorexia clinic.

My vote says this chick is smokin'!  :naughty:

The head probably belongs to the body, but there may have been some airbrushing along the jaw line.

I am highly gratified by the men who think she is sexy though, because I am definitely closer to looking like her than like your typical fashion model.

A lot of men are really turned off by anorexic, skinny women and prefer a lady with some meat on her bones. Don't sell yourself short.

Now for a bit of honesty, speaking as a woman, I doubt that many women who are that heavy feel truly sexy.  I'm guessing that she is between a 16 or 18 in American sizes, and from what I saw of French stores while I was over there, I doubt she could waltz into many of them and find clothing that would look good.  Also, just as they photoshop all pictures of thin models, I'm sure that she was photoshopped and airbrushed as well.

I sure wouldn't call her fat, she barely qualifies as chubby.
The thing that looks photoshopped to me is her arms.  They look too skinny in the clothed picture but normal in the nude picture.
A pretty woman.

It's the makeup damn it that makes the difference.

Big girls and I have known quite a few, with attention to hair and makeup can and will put us small boned woman to shame.

Romanesque I believe they are called. -----Something prime evil,  large hips to bear a lot of baby's, large Brest's to feed the lot.   Prime mates, Strong, and able to carry on when Mate is hunting or at war.

Men valued this in a woman in times past, and again today.   Few skinny Minnie's were, unless in the upper crust of society where they could pay for a milk nurse, except to have just a few children, those that fell ill and fainted at the drop of a hat and stayed out of sight except for occasions to don the arm of their husband at a fancy ball or State affair -----Among the common life could have survived.

Being thin was what separated the wealthy from the OTHERS.    Odd that some of our most notable leaders and politicians in the past had mistresses of size and wives that were thin and wasted.  The wife was for show with their operations to remove lower ribs to wear corsets that made their waists about 20 inches around. Pure porcelain skin from taking a compound with arsenic in it.    Some woman in the late 1800's swallowed of all things tape worm eggs to keep themselves fashionably thin.

Mean while the bouncing healthy woman with a sparkle in their eyes and a lets have fun attitude, those that had a healthy glow to their skin, had interests beyond their looks were the magnet that drew the husbands and suitors of all classes.

Happens to the best of us at times, work like a dog at the Gym, dress our best and draw the attention of other men and woman, then the dread time comes up when the boyfriend or husband runs off with a woman that is 60 pounds larger then us and can bench press 130 pounds, with a 20 pound turkey in the oven wife needs help to remove it.

Shocked woman ask " what the heck does he see in that fat woman, "  More then meets the eye then being skinny.

There is a reason why Black Butt on woman attract men, a reason why men look at a large woman and know right off the bat she is a good cook.

Glad to see the big girls making a come back, now to get the fashion designers to PAY ATTENTION and the woman themselves to understand fashion. Big woman need to know how to dress to accessorise and look great without even trying to appear thin.  Those pictures of Walmart customers, woman 5' 3 180 pounds wearing shorts comes to mind.

The very thin and the big girls should never wear sleeveless T. Shirts, or shorts in public if they are over 20 years old. Lots of the rules for the big girls also apply to the starving girls that make them open to ----Doesn't your family feed you ?

Best looking in my family is just one out of all the family that has big bones.   She is a knock out and although her sister has a Barbi doll figure, men and boys flock to her like flies on shit, the big girl is the one that gets the serious men interested.

Big girls have a sense of humor that the on a ridged diet thin woman don't have, they are comfortable while the starving are all too concerned that they are so hungry they just don't feel like having fun.   Big girls have more energy and spunk in life, as they are not obsessed with their body's, they spend less money on keeping what they call fit.

This is being written by an outsider to the Topic, extreme metabolizing in the family and we all can eat, drink a whole cow and never gain weight.  Today I am as I age getting over the 125 pound mark, nothing fits, never tried to loose weight just to gain it for energy.  Well that is changing and I find I have more energy now then I did at 90 pounds.

Just my observances as a bone tired woman that could be thrown in a wet sea bag and hoisted over a sailors shoulder.

She actually has the exact same build as my Fiancee.  I mean in the first picture you posted I thought it was her.  And of course there was a little air brushing, but that is her head and body.

I find her very attractive.  IMO, it's all about how the women carries herself.  At the risk of being killed by my fiance I write the next few lines...

I am one of those guys who likes them a little smaller, larger women (large than this women) turn me completely off.  My fiancee is the "largest" women I have been with but I am very attracted to her.  There is a fine line for me between to large and curvy and just right.

Fat women are genetically superior to thin women by means of evolution.

Predisposition to obesity is a sign of inferior metabolism, an inferior metabolism allows more brain processing and thus results in higher IQ.

I disagree Cyrus, large woman survived only because they could defend themselves against their men, Give them a good whomping when he needed it.

It matters that both small and thin both have the same IQ but the smaller woman were easier to control by the  male and the larger ones give them a run for their money.

Same with men, I have seen short guys with beer guts take on the body builders  their and take out the so called Mussel boys.  Weight is mass and mussels have nothing to do with the larger velocity of mass flying and colliding with something.

You Cyrus need to watch a wrestling competition between a huge man and a declared and detoothed bear. guess who wins???

Cops that are fit and trained have no problem with a Hell Cat half their size, problem is when the Hell Cat out weighs them by 40 pounds and fights like a tiger the cops know they may get hurt, real bad.   It takes just one cop to subdue a small woman, the big girls having a hissie fit may take 3 cops to subdue.

VA. Beach in the 1980's some guy came to town with a small 200 pound bear a baby really, and challenged our Seals, Bikers and whom ever to pin the bear.  What a Hoot, prize was $1,000 and entry fee was $100.00.  It was at the end on the second day when the injuries were making the Military nervous that the whole shebang was shut down.

All woman unless they have been Trained to submit are like that baby bear, the bigger the bear or woman,  the more likely hood of of them winning.

Men who say they just do not understand woman forget women have  a DNA to survive, most any way they can.  For those that are by DNA small and breakable, sometimes they are they fiercest, will even out do the bigger woman, not by strength but by stealth, Mind games if you will.

I actually envy women who can carry extra weight and look feminine. When I put on weight, it is generally in the middle and I lose all my curves, I guess I just make a horrible fat chick and no, I don't have body image issues, I just accept the cards I have been dealt.

Bad cat, just who do the f*ck do you think you are, Gods gift to skinny woman ????

Are you just another closet pervert that has this thing about sex and ignore the woman, the mature woman in favor of the very young thin boys and girls???

Perhaps you should head out and convert to Muslim as you seem to place the same value of a woman as they do, a COW.

If you only require sex in your life then by all means look for the skinny hookers.

But be advised, when looking for a soul mate, that sexy woman you marry may in fact gain weight as you will do, you loose your hair, get a pot belly and may begin to disgust her.  She may have married you for your looks as you did her.

She can loose weight but You cannot regrow hair, or get back to the times you are in now.    Woman can and do manage to look 20 years younger then they are and can draw attention of men that will appreciate them.    You my dear will just get older, and be lucky to get a cheap BJ in a back ally.

Will come the time when You are arrested for sneaking into a barn to have your way with a real cow as no woman wants you or your kind.

I met an Indian on reservation that in S. Dakota that pointed out a very old woman and told me to look at her hands.  All gnarled and cramped with arthritis.  See those  hands that have worked for 80 years, Outsiders find them ugly, we find them beautiful knowing the years these hands have worked, held her children, cooked and dug in the dirt to plant food for them.  The years those hands have worked endlessly for her family, ---------In every one there is something so beautiful, one has to see beyond the obvious.

Not even a sexual "preditor" would give you the time of day.  You could be used for rehab purposes in most prisons.

Lose some weight and get some self respect.

Ok, asshole. I am not a fat person but I am getting pissed with your offensive posts.  A person doesn't exist to make sure they get your nod of approval on how they look.

What does your mom/sister/grandmother look like?  Are they fat?  if so, do you tell them the same thing?

I do know there are some admitted overweight women on this board and I truly care for them and their feelings.  Your post is offensive and I think you should either apologize for being a complete mean asshole or just stop posting on the matter.  Hope you reconsider how you post since you have hurt someone's feelings on this board even if they don't say it.

And I disagree with BC, I'd hit it; like LC EFA, bony chicks spook me because they aren't soft and are usually quite mental to boot, though their real mental illness may take awhile to bubble up.

I think he covered it pretty well when he said it was his personal taste.  Why, what kind of chicks do you prefer to do, Gina?

And I disagree with BC, I'd hit it; like LC EFA, bony chicks spook me because they aren't soft and are usually quite mental to boot, though their real mental illness may take awhile to bubble up.

I agree and at a size 10 and less then 5'3" I'm both too heavy and short for BC, but it's all good, we aren't looking to date one another. Some of us have known BC a long time and this is who he is and really are his comments any more disparaging then the 'bag of bones' comments about thinner women in this same thread? Just a thought...

BC said it was 'his' personal preference.  I had a friend like that back when I was traveling as a welder.  He would pick up the UGLIEST chicks at a bar and bring them back to the motel BUT they were bone ass thin.

 :lmao:

He didn't do 'fat' chicks but he would damn sure hit some ugly!

Um, no one is caring about who he would like to snuggle up with.  What I take issue with is he is saying that you and any other woman that is overweight has no self respect.  He disparaged an entire group of women and considering a majority of women in the us and this forum are overweight he just shows how he really views women.  But if you don't mind the insult, then I guess I shouldn't mind either. :)

Well, I think he was responding to an insult Vesta made at him--sexual predator really because he doesn't like heavier women? That was ok then?--tit for tat and all that. Context is important is it not?

As for the other, I don't care because personally why should I give a shit? I work out 5 days a week and stay solid at an 8/10 and out of a training a 10/12--so the F* what? I have a man and I don't need the approval of another to earn some badge of self-respect. BC was addressing an insult with an insult so I don't read much into it and if he seriously believes that, then it doesn't change a thing in my life--I'll still work, take care of my kids, love the people I love, and hit the gym hard(because I love it, not for anyone's approval). Doesn't really matter one way or the other. My self-respect does not rely on anyone telling me whether I have it or not.

You don't have to not be bothered by it. I'm not and I can see the inconsistency apparent when insults are hurled at very thin women, but women get their hackles up when someone throws the same at heavier girls. In the end, yes, who gives a shit what any one man likes? I'm not exactly Helen of Troy hoping for every man to take up a sword for me to validate my self-worth.

You have no idea about who would or would not "give me the chance", But I was relatively "nice" and said it was MY preference.  Then the rant of the INSANE person, to which I responded rather nastily, because as Jty said, my distaste for the overweight does not make me a sexual "preditor"

To which you responded with "Ok asshole".

Now I know you a bit better, and we're not going to get along.

First, small penises are and should be involved in every discussion with vesta. There are times I don't even read who's posting but by the third paragraph, I somehow know it's her.

Next, The fact is that I desire a particular type of woman. I find myself draw to a certain style, and not so much to others. That is just genetic encoding on my part. That said, a persons personality brings alot to the table. There are girls I would like to have sex with that once they start talking, Ugh- sorry. There are those who I would pass up at first glance that after a few conversations I am more interested.

3) Where are damned boobiez?

The defense rests.

That woman doesn't have "curves", she looks like she washed up on a beach.

I have some "rules" concerning women:

1. They must weigh less than I do (I'm 180 lbs)
2. They must have longer hair than I do (Mine is about 4 inches past my shoulders)
3. College degree...preferably advanced.
4. Conservative.

Then I have some preferences:
1. Redhead
2. Brunette
3. Blonde

Now, don't you have some railroad tracks to play on?  It would be fun to see the damage you could cause to the train.

So vesta, you're a fat blonde...deal with it.

 :lmao: :lmao:

Not yet, still dying my hair different colores each year as I age to find the RIGHT shade for my complexion as I age. Sooner or later I will get it right, perhaps when I hit 65, can't say a girl cannot try.

Fat depends on the observer,  I at 90 pounds was just right for my bone structure, possibly the reason no one ever hit me, they were afraid I would break.   Now as I have aged 125 is huge on me, -----And I love it, first time in my life I have boobs and can sit on a bleacher seat and not have pain in the butt.   I can handle the cold better with some fat and don't need those awful uplift bras.    Say I am getting a butt, can fill out my Jeans instead of having a saggy back side.

Being a fat blond does not bother me, with the correct clothing I can pull it off, what fun to be able to change total looks in ones life and enjoy it.    I will go blond when I gain another 20 pounds and enjoy every minute of it.

Men cannot do this, they are stuck with what happens as they age, woman can play about, go fat or thin as they wish change hair styles and clothing, accessorise to up or down to change and  play with their looks.

Is it any wonder Drag Queens enjoy being a girl?????

how tall are you, vesta?  I would be anorexic at 125lbs, even 135lbs I look like I have cancer.  What are you like 4' tall?   :lmao:

Gina I was 5'3'' as a full grown woman, time and age has me at 5'1" as  the bones do shrink as we age.  Hard to believe I lost 2 inches in height, but it happens, I watched a grandmother go from 5' 8" to 5' 4" in her life.  My Dad at 5'10 shrunk to 5'5" and my mom at 90 went from 5'2" to 4' 10" today---Darn she is just a little bitty Mommy now.

Interesting what will happen to my youngest daughter that as an Adult hit 5' tall when she gets up there in age. We call her the midget of the family now, at 50 she will shorter then her grand kids.

Bone structure has much to do with weight, at 20 years old I had a doctor tell me that if my bones were less dense I could glue feathers on my body and fly-----NO shit.

I have broken most every bone in my body through the years, by the time I was 5 I had broken my right arm twice.  Horse back riding and falling off, chipped bones, and ice skating an ankle.  Both knee caps shattered in a less then 3 inch fall at different times ,shoulder broken in 3 places in a fall, all covered by OCHA, work place hazards,  and any if not all ribs cracked at one time or another.

As small as my bones were it is a wonder I could have born 4 children and not broken my Pelvis.  At the time of birth I was sure this would happen, it definitely felt like something was getting ready to let go.--------Woman to woman here fortunately all my baby's were 4 pounds and less, thank God they just fell out fast.  { last baby had the seat imprints from the car seats on her forehead, it was that close.}     3 kids sat in the car at midnight alone, I was taken into the hospital and 20 minutes later their dad came out to drive them home. WE HAD A GIRL.

Only good thing I can say for having small bones and low weight is NO ONE ever dared to confront me, hit me slap me or push me,  to do so was to face attempted murder charges or to kill me out right.    Now had I been just a bit larger, weighed more, life would have been different back then.  Only now do I realise how it was DNA that helped me survive, and today I thank God for the protection I had.

Now Today I would love to get fat and happy, try something different, Chubby cheeks take out the wrinkles and crows feet.

I've lost an inch in height somewhere over the last few years . . . oddest thing!  I've always been 5'8 ever since I was 11 (early bloomer and all that). Every dr. visit, the same -- 5'8".  About a month ago, I was standing next to someone I know is the same height and I found myself looking up a little. Got the tape measure and measured myself a few times and then asked him to measure me too and WTH . . . now I'm 5'7"!?  :panic:
