Lobb was one of hundreds of people who took to the Strip on Thursday afternoon for the Occupy Las Vegas march, an offshoot of the Occupy Wall Street protests that started in New York three weeks ago.

Are they going to throw them at Obama since that is a big insult to Muslims?
Occupy Nashville protesters camp out downtown (http://www.tennessean.com/article/20111009/NEWS/310090077/2275/RSS05)
As the sun dropped below the War Memorial Auditorium in downtown Nashville on Saturday, Michael Custer, 47, strode up to the steps of Legislative Plaza, blanket and guitar case in hand, and looked over the group of about 35 people who had gathered there for the first wave of Occupy Nashville.
500 turn out at rally supporting Gibson Guitar (http://www.tennessean.com/article/20111009/BUSINESS/310090070/2275/RSS05)
“If the government is going to target Gibson today, whose business are they going to raid tomorrow?†said Cookie Bowers, 64. “We said, ‘We’ve just got to go.’ â€
It was a sentiment echoed by others in the crowd of about 500 who turned out for Saturday afternoon’s “We Stand With Gibson†rally, some carrying signs that read “Who’s Next†and “When they come for you, who will be left to speak?â€
We will be selling any donated art to fundraise for the cause.I'd like to take a look at some of that "art," if any materialized. BTW, where exactly do the "funds" go that were "raised?"

Anything interesting happening somewhere else?
Hundreds march through downtown
Hundreds of Occupy Omaha protesters politely snaked their way through downtown streets Saturday.
About 10:30 a.m. most of the few hundred Occupy protesters were stationed in front of the Federal Reserve Bank building at 2201 Farnam St.
Many vehicles, including one taxi cab, honked as they drove by the large crowd.
The atmosphere remained calm throughout the march with Tea Party members mixing in amicably with the Occupy protesters.
The few hundred protesters stretched across several blocks as they marched, but the crowd made sure to wait for the light at each intersection.

DENVER - Dozens of police in riot gear herded Wall Street protesters away from the Colorado state Capitol... <snip>
:II:
Well, it looks to me as if Denver cops are interested in enforcing the law; good for them.

Yeah, his riot gear doesn't look like it fits like it did when he came out of the academy, does it?? :rotf: :rotf:
I saw one guy parked in front of the Dana Point City Hall yesterday that had a sign propped against a tree that said "Occupy Dana Point" and he was holding a hand lettered sign blathering on about ending all wars and something about corporate greed.he sounds like a OnePercenter

Occupy Nashville battling theftsTennessean (http://www.tennessean.com/article/20111020/NEWS01/310200101/2275/RSS05)
Protesters say they’ve had laptops, phones and supplies stolen, including a tent. They are not discouraged by the thefts, but on Thursday they were reorganizing their living area to ensure more security for participants and their gear.
About two dozen people camped out on the plaza in the cold and rain Wednesday night, including a large number of homeless who were occupying the plaza long before the protesters showed up. More have been drawn to the square by the free food and other goods that have been donated to Occupy Nashville.
Tell your husband that your interent friends would appreciate him going by himself if possible and taking pictures.
PBR is in town this week or next weekend... right across the street from this bullshit. There will be lots of pictures coming soon. :rotf:
PBR? Fat Che's Little Brothert Blue Ribbon?
Rich cowboys showing up in their $60,000 pickup trucks.
AKA eye candy. *swoon*
I love when PBR is here. This whole city is swimming in cowboy hats. The Walmart near my home is the closest one to PBR, so all you see is cowboy hats for at least a week in this area. It's fun. :)
I ain't lookin' at their hats. :-) Heck, I wear hats.
All you keyboard jockeys who are jealous of the Occupy folks because they're willing to put their bodies out there to support principles that benefit the likes of you as 99 percenters while you slavishly mouth/type the corporate line of BS, just slay me.
I've been out there on the barricades (so to speak) with the "Occupiers," and let me tell you something: they are an admirable group of people, many of whom are employed, older than in their 20's, and suffused with a sense of purpose that finds its origin in the way our democracy, and yes, our version of capitalism, have been totally and completely corrupted to benefit the moneyed few at the expense of all the rest of us.
Stop typing, get off your fat duffs, and GET OUT THERE to stand up for what you know, in your heart of hearts, is right, and stop criticizing the people who are doing it for you.
they are an admirable group of peopleIf they were, we wouldn't be laughing at them.
