Good morning sir.
Okay out here in the Sandhills, but some dense fog. As usual.

It's quiet peaceful, I'm sure.
We finally got away from the hundred degree days down this way.
Texacon is about twenty miles north of me.
I'll bet he's happy about it too.
Still no rain, however.
At least the calmer winds are letting the fire fighters knock some of the blazes down.

It is kind of bothering, though, seeing out on the main highway all these caravans of big trucks hauling hay down to Texas. I can't figure out why Texas cattlemen aren't broke yet, paying more than a thousand bucks a ton for.....hay.
Hay--you know, that stuff we got so much of that other times, most of it's just left to rot in the fields.
I hope to God Texas gets rain, and as much as they need.

No rain forecast.
Still have to put water out for the wildlife.
Stupid coons keep bringing bowls up on the deck.

Morning all. Looks like everything is back in shape. Skul, are you at Stage 4 water restrictions? We are only at 2 here in Dallas, but South and South Central is just crispy.

Nah, no restrictions here.
I keep expecting the town to ask for them, but, nothing.
Most folks have been doing it by themselves.

I see some parts of the board are still 'affected' while others, like this one are not.
Interesting.

Those would be older posts that have yet to be updated.

When I think of your location, for some odd reason Sherlock Holmes and "The Hounds of the Baskerville" comes to mind.
