Forget Global Warming, Prepare for New Ice Age, Says Scientist
Sunspot activity has not resumed after hitting an 11-year low in March last year, raising fears that - far from warming - the globe is about to return to an Ice Age.
Astronaut and geophysicist Phil Chapman, the first Australian to become an astronaut with NASA, said pictures from the U.S. Solar and Heliospheric Observatory showed no spots on the sun.
He said the world cooled quickly between January last year and January this year, by about 0.7C.
"This is the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record, and it puts us back to where we were in 1930," Dr. Chapman writes in The Australian today.
"If the temperature does not soon recover, we will have to conclude that global warming is over."

Oh give me a break!!! Stop being a sneering knowitall. People know the difference between the two. People are also perceptive enough to see through this climate change bullshit. Of course the climate is changing! It always has! Sane people recognize that and see the Goronacle movement for what it truly is.

I would like to have al-Gore in Montana right about now.
Over the past weekend we wound up with 7 inches of snow with rather cool temps. The windchill Sat morning was 1 below. That ain't too bad when one considers that Gt Falls had a low temp of 8 BELOW and had over 10 inches of snow.
As I sit here, it is snowing AGAIN!

No problem. Phil Chapman's article is bound to cause confusion. In fact, it was designed to cause confusion. The title of the article, which was probably conceived with the hope that it would appear on DrudgeReport, makes the stunning declaration that an ice age is coming, but statements within the text of the article are much more cautious...
It is generally not possible to draw conclusions about climatic trends from events in a single year, so I would normally dismiss this cold snap as transient, pending what happens in the next few years.
It is time to put aside the global warming dogma, at least to begin contingency planning about what to do if we are moving into another little ice age, similar to the one that lasted from 1100 to 1850.
If the ice age is coming, there is a small chance that we could prevent or at least delay the transition, if we are prepared to take action soon enough and on a large enough scale.
We cannot really know, but my guess is that the odds are at least 50-50 that we will see significant cooling rather than warming in coming decades.
The probability that we are witnessing the onset of a real ice age is much less, perhaps one in 500, but not totally negligible.

True. But a former vice president with no formal training isn't going to let a little thing like a lack of credentials stand in his way of preaching to the rest of us about climate.

To the globalwarming pilot fish like TNO, making a profit off the lie is not important. His type will get their "reward" when the western economies collapse from regulations and liberal bullying.
I don't know why those types are so eager to sacrifice their own lifestyles just to find joy in the misery of others, but they apparently have it all rationalized in their muted brains.

Let us not forget that Global Warming is causing the ice caps to melt away this melting of the ice caps floods the North Atlantic Current with cold water thus cooling the northern regions and subsequently affecting the Jet stream further cooling the earth creating a "mini ice age" [/globalwarming=globalcooling idiot]
