DUmmy Pedro Picasso, the third-rated cartoon boy on a staff of three at a tiny Connecticut junk mail mill, is wondering about the Rapture:

Why aren't CC, CU and the other Freeper sites signing off now?
C'mon...the RAPTURE is tomorrow. They certainly must be expecting to ascend. Why are they still posting? Why did they renew their domain names? Is there internet access in heaven? Just curious.

Glad to see that Rob used spell check for this post. He needs to do it more often. It must be a slow morning for cartooning, and he's all caught up on drawing blank speech bubbles for the second-rated cartoon boy to fill in. I hope the big boss doesn't catch him wasting time on his moonbat message board.

3. They have to pretend they don't know it's coming.
It's like waiting for Santa...you can't just sit in front of the fireplace.
DUmmy Anne Pritchett, out there in Kansas, is her usual classy self:

4. Oh but I'd miss all my fans
Hey Frank! **** you!!
I would say that 11:13 am falls within the span of time when the taxpayers, those fools, think Ms. Pritchett is occupied with the teaching they pay her to do. They don't realize she's a union DUmbass who never has never put in an honest day. Let's hope no one in the Kansas City school administration ever googles Anne's name, because they would surely find her vile DUmp posts, most of which are stamped with school working hours.
Pedro challenges Anne for the coveted "classiest DUmpmonkey" crown:

5. LOL! That basement-dwelling self-important loser will miss you!
And me. Will he be able to stalk from heaven? And will God allow him to speak of himself in the third person? LOL! ****ing douche bag.
Unlike Anne's situation, Rob's immediate boss at Mission Control, the mysterious second-rated cartoon boy, knows about Rob's moonbat life. Mr. Muslim, and the other Mission Control honchos, don't. They know all the cartoon boys waste time on the internet, but have no idea how DUmb the DUmp is.
Let's hope they never figure out that the second-rated cartoon boy could easily do both Rob's job and his own.

Why this silliness is getting any attention from DU is God's own mystery.
Noob DUmmy TheManInTheMac is surprised silliness gets DU attention.
Even without the low post count, that would identify him as a noob.

Why would we be watching . . .

That? (Other than Deborah Harry maybe, why?)

Are there many people who truly believe that the Rapture is going to be tomorrow? I know this guy has been getting a lot of press lately, but the fact that he has been wrong in the past makes him suspect in my eyes. Also, I'm just plain uncomfortable with people attempting to determine God's plan, with specific dates, for the future based on their interpretation of the Bible.
-
What is this clown running his hole about now? I see the Biblical scholar that is Atman/texastoast glossed over Matthew 24:36.
-
It would seem that Mission Control must be rather quiet lately.
One would think that with 2012 around the corner and the assured democrat victories they would be swamped.
Why does Rob have time on his hands?
-
DUmmies, liberals and socialists hate Christians and Jews. Its pathological.
Matt 24 says we can know the season but not the day or the hour. Jesus will come as a thief in the night-when we least expect him.
This Harold Camping guy is a false prophet. Nothing will happen on Saturday.
But the DUmmies will paint this loon with a wide brush covering all of Christianity. They're just looking for a reason to hate. this is the perfect excuse.
-
"Rapture" is in the bible as many times as "Democracy" is in our founding documents.
-
I didn't get the notice so I guess they'll have to go without me.

25. Hey Nebraska life isn't everyone's cup of tea
He's got so little to do to keep busy. And since there are no terminally ill folks around for Frank to harass until they die, the rapture is coming at a good time for him.
I think Anne may be stalking coach. And I hope she lost a lot of money in the Andyscam, but I doubt it.
The Rapture probably won't be Saturday, and there's definitely a good side to that.
I hate to think of a DUmbass like Anne getting all my stuff.
-
I think I'm going to freak my wife out when she comes over to visit the dogs tomorrow night. Pull the recliner back, and put a full set of clothes out on the seat as if I disappeared.

MATTHEW 24:36, ATMAN.
-
The whole chapter of Matt 24 is about the last days. I will highlight the pertinent verses.
vs 40 and 41 are the first reference to the rapture
Matthew 24 32-44
Parable of the Fig Tree
32 "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near;
33 so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.
34 "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
37 "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.
38 "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
40 "Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.
41 "Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
Be Ready for His Coming
42 "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
43 "But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 "For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

I think Lord Rove ought to fire up the Earthquake machine tomorrow, just to confuse the DUmmies.

Anyone ventured a guess as to why the primitives have been acknowledging CC and other "sites that can't be mentioned" in their posts? Whatever the reason, Skin's needs to get his lockstepping minions under control and make them obey as they've been ordered to do.

Relatively speaking, no. Just this guy and his cult following, which may be fairly substantial as cults go, but a cult nonetheless. This is just DU seizing on another opportunity to vent their collective spleen and paint all Christians as unreasonable nuts. You know it's one of their favorite pastimes.
-
LOL
I can't take credit. For any Boortz fans on the board, that was all Boortz.
-
Umm, only a small amount of extremist Christians actually believe this.
BTW, which is larger, the small amount of Christians who believe this? or the amount of Muslims who believe in Sharia Law? and which is the bigger threat?

Oh, well, the democrat position on this is very clear. The hated fundies, who want to tell you about Christ, are far more dangerous than the muzzies, who want to saw your head off, who want to blow you up, and who want women to behave as livestock.

Naive?
Scary?
Dangerous?
All of the above?

Well, it's 1800 Hrs MDT in Wyoming and I'm still here.
Or, was it 1800 Hrs PDT? Or, is Wyoming God's Country and this is where us faithful are supposed to be "raptured" to? Should I pack up the pickup and head home to Illinois Thursday? Will I be able to drive past Torrington, WY? I'll tell ya, I'm all discombobulated.

How embarrassing.
Broadcaster silent as "Judgment Day" hours tick by
With no sign of Judgment Day arriving as he had forecast, the 89-year-old California evangelical broadcaster and former civil engineer behind the pronouncement seemed to have gone silent on Saturday.
Family Radio, the Christian stations network headed by Harold Camping which had spread his message of an approaching doomsday, was playing recorded church music, devotionals and life advice unrelated to the apocalypse.
Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/05/21/us-apocalypse-prediction-idUSTRE74I3KS20110521)
I bet someone has egg on their face.

I'm thinking he thought he would have been dead by now and wouldn't have to face the music.
God toys with arrogant people.

No rapture here but Jesus did win the Preakness today. :thatsright:

Sorry I missed this when it originally appeared. Someone else captured other parts of the thread, however:
