"Obama care" is a God send to me
It means that as long as I live, my 2 grand infusions every 6 weeks will go on. With the last 2 years I have really racked up the medical costs but thank God for insurance and the peace of mind knowing that when I reach the old limit, I can still get the care I need because there is Now no limit.
My care can never be denied even if we move to a new state as my husband wants to do. I had been stalling him and discouraging him from looking because I was worried that I would have a "pre-existing" condition and that I wouldn't be accepted under a new plan. I don't have to worry about that now.
It is not perfect, this "socialized" medicine...(hell I wish I had congress insurance) but at least I have peace of mind that I CAN manage and maintain this disease without bankrupting my family.
OH and until my daughter gets married she is covered as well.

It may not be nice to laugh at someone who is so obviously the victim of a chromosomal mishap, but in Pam's case you just can't help it. If Pam would become more active, she could pull a Grover Cleveland and win another term as Top DUmmy after being out of office for a term.

read, pointing out that the sender was a small businessperson who was against "Obamacare" ... until his insurance provider pointed out how much he was going to save under O-care ... now he sent in his letter of resignation from the Tea party, citing their lack of understanding (or utter lies) of the reality of the legislation. He even said that he might (might, no firm commitment) vote for the "President's party" come 2012 ...
Isn't it amazing what happens when people actually stop listening to the Republicans and start thinking for themselves?
It will be interesting for me to see - I had that "little" bike accident about ten days ago and ended up in the hospital for two nights and had to have emergency surgery. It will be interesting to see how much that will cost. But, we have good insurance and if we have a co-pay or deductible, we'll pay it.

I managed to lose my long form BC after my parents were divorced and their assets were split. I was able, however, to order a BC from the State of New York. I received a COLB in response. Anyone that has a matching letterhead and seal can print a COLB in the comfort of their home. A long-form BC is another matter entirely.

Both of the above have about 2% of enrollments that Chief Liar Obama promised by this time.
Most of the taxes come into effect this year and 2012.

Yep! last I heard, employers and even unions are droppin' dependent care for the kiddies because they can't afford it! The last one was SEIU in NYC someplace! They said they had to drop it because it would bankrupt there insurance pool! I think it was for somthin' like 8,000 employees!

The logical next step is to require insurance companies to sell you a homeowner's policy after flames break through your roof shingles. It's just another kind of pre-existing condition. Why pay premiums when you don't have a claim?
