Jon the "Stanford Professor" has already been proven a liar by others but here's another quote from an Obama spokesman - “as the president of the Law Review, Obama didn’t write articles, he edited and reviewed them.â€

(Although, he does all he does want to collapse the system, in my opinion.)

But it's been a rule the president has observed at times and ignored at others. Now, it appears, is one of those times he's ignoring it.
Once again the comment section is good.

This guy treats the whole of his presidency as one big vacation!
O'Bumbler is goin' to go down as the laziest POS to ever hold the office!
-
Wasn't there some rule that President's couldn't write books while in office, even with a contract deal BEFORE being elected? Can someone help me out here?

There's the cover story, but if that's the truth why wait 2 years to bring it out. I'd have thought they would bring it out while his popularity was still high.

Good point.
Maybe the publisher had a time table they were working with? But still, why would a publisher wait two years?
I totally missed the 2008 part. :(

This is the one plausible part of his whole bullshit story. Elapsed time from final submission of a manuscript to a publisher to the time the finished book hits the shelves varies by publisher, but averages 9 months to 2 years or so. If for no other reason than to schedule time on the presses to print a run of the book (publishers try their damnedest to keep those presses running all the time, because if they aren't running, the publisher isn't making money).

So he's donating his "author's proceeds" to scholarships for children of fallen and disabled soldiers? How Glenn Beck of him :-)
