Title: TOP DUmmie (Primitive) OF 2009: greenbriar
Post by: franksolich on December 22, 2009, 04:59:53 PM
01. greenbriar, known only as the greenbriar primitive, a les risibles primitive.

There have been requests to demote the greenbriar primitive from a les risibles primitive, one of the ridiculous ones, the laughable ones, down to a drek primitive, the absolutely most worthless primitive.

There are currently only four drek primitives; the skumbag primitive, the Die alte Sau the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher, the high-fructose corn syrup primitive, and Ms. Ed the unappellated eohippus.

It's a pretty tiny elite group, the drek primitives.

Of course, anyone is free to classify any primitive in any of the tierdoms--non-primitive, first-tier primitive, second-tier primitive, third-tier primitive, the unterprimitiven the faceless lynch mob, the abbanado primitives, the les risibles primitives, and the drek primitives.

But I myself am loathe to demote the greenbriar primitive.

Imagine the tiers of primitives as being the rungs on a 12' ladder that extends to 24'.

Extend the ladder.

The top rung is the non-primitives, the second rung the first-tier primitives, and so on down.

When one comes to the seventh, the next-to-the-last rung, suddenly there's no more rungs until clear to the bottom of the ladder, the last rung being the drek primitives.

That's quite a gulf, between the sixth rung, and the seventh.

The drek primitives are those who dwell Beyond the Pale of Humanity.

If their comments accurately reflect their beings and thoughts in real life, the skumbag primitive, the Die alte Sau, the high-fructose corn syrup primitive, and Ms. Ed the unappellated eohippus, are truly putrid gangrenous feces, beyond the reach of any human (or pharmaceutical) agency, whom only God can help; pure Evil.

I don't think the greenbriar primitive is beyond redemption.

The greenbriar's path to redemption is remarkably easy; all she has to do is apologize to God for having been such a vain, silly, vindictive woman.  She does not have to apologize to her fellow primitives on Skins's island, she does not have to apologize to those she has slandered, she does not have to apologize to decent and civilized people.

All she has to do is apologize to God, in a private, confidential conversation.

If the greenbriar primitive is truly sincere in that apology to God, it makes things better for her, and its effects will be noticed by all, the greenbriar primitive becoming a useful, content, fulfilled, contributor to humanity.

It seems to me that unlike the drek primitives, the greenbriar primitive is not beyond salvage.

The greenbriar primitive--not to be confused with the Die alte Sau, the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher, who is half a generation older--is in her mid-40s, a teacher of social studies to 8th-graders in Wichita, Kansas.  The greenbriar primitive is paid circa $58,000 per year.

The greenbriar primitive is married, the husband vision-impaired, with one child, a daughter who this year turned 18 and moved in with her grandmother.  And as in the case of the Last Vegas Leviathan, the gigantic primitive, there is a "roommate" in the household, apparently a good buddy of the greenbriar primitive's husband, and ostensibly a freeloading bum.

The above statistical information provided by the winner herself.

The greenbriar primitive has always been inconsistent in describing her husband, who is either a raging rampaging drunk who beats her, or an affectionate, caring gentleman who caters to her every whim and desire; this issue yo-yos violently back and forth, as if a tennis ball.

The first is from New Year's Eve 2008; all others below are from 2009:

Just when you think all decency is lost in this younger generation something changes your mind...see

I teach 8th graders

Today we were discussing the "middle passage" and reality as a slave and we got very graphic and detailed.

Now...before we go any further...this particular class has a bunch of "personalities" and about 5 kids get really irritated.

Today one black girl raised her hand and stated the following:

Mrs. Greenbriar, I don't mean to sound ungrateful or anything but I think I would rather have lived then. I know I would have been a slave but At least people had respect and values and morals and did not act like fools or idiots...

WOW

I told her well XXX that would have put us on different sides, she said no Mrs. Greenbriar, I feel you would have been one of those slave owners that would have risked everything to teach us to read and write and better our lives

65. No they weren't

My grandmother's family owned slaves and treated them pretty well (well, except for the whole slave thing LOL)

Seriously, my grandmother used to tell lots of stories about her grandparents and how angry they got at other slave owners who whipped their slaves. She was very proud of how well her grandfather treated his 'people' - they never called them slaves.

So sayeth the Die alte Sau, the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher (not to be confused with the greenbriar primitive; the Die alte Sau's somewhat older); the one with aunts who are nuns who wanted birth control and abortion.

5. A fifth-grade girl talking like that?

Choosing slavery?

A black girl, eleven or twelve years old, in America, told you that she'd prefer to have lived as a slave because today's culture is too crass for her?

Who are her parents, and what has she been taught about slavery? Does she know exactly what it was? What it entailed?

I'm sure you would have been a most benevolent slave owner, Mrs. Greenbriar, but I have trouble believing that any child with a functioning brain would make that choice.

Or even talk like that......................................

9. can you not read 8th grade and we were not using books today, we were having candid discussions and breaking myths and being honest

I did not say that she was right, I just said that was how she felt

really I think it is more of a reaction to the asshole kids that tease her and act like fools in school

12. Eighth!

I read "fifth" These new glasses, I swear. My mistake, my apology.

That makes it even worse Why one earth would a normal eighth-grader girl believe that slavery was a favorable option to her life today?

You might have included that last line in your OP, rather than the self-serving praise you included. If the girl's that unhappy, that she articulates her preference for slavery as a way of life, she needs to be seeing a counselor and getting some help - not being used as a vehicle for praise of some twisted kind on a message board.

Instead of citing her comment as a prelude to what a fine slave owner you would have been, you should have been making arrangements for someone to talk with that child, since a comment like that sounds far too much like depression talking, and bullying is not anything to be taken lightly................

she has honor inside is striving to be more than many

16. You wrote it very plainly - there was nothing to "get."

What a fine slave owner you would have been, Mrs. Greenbriar. That doesn't take much reading between the lines, except the Subject LIne on your OP was heralding the statement this kid made.

Are you nuts?

You are establishing a pattern of posting half-stories, half-truths, and then taking umbrage when people point out the great big holes and fallacies in your tales.

Your second sentence here fits with this first - more "I am so wonderful" stuff that completely disregards the fact that this is a kid in trouble, if what you're telling about her is true. Bullying, depression, and the wish to live as a slave instead of where she is today.

You're lucky to have us people to show us what you're doing - we shine a nice honest light on your stories, and force out the truth, which is rarely pretty....................................

22. Still nice - lovely.

And your self-serving OP, the one that had that poor kid painting you as a potentially kind and benevolent slave owner, along with the title - that you found some kind of cheery hope in the idea that a troubled black kid wished she were living when slavery still abounded - is completely unbelievable.................................

31. Oh, SHUT UP!!!!

You probably would have been one of those REALLY MEAN slave owners, and not one of the REALLY NICE ones.

Yes, it's wonderful to be admired by your black student who wishes she could be a slave because the world was so nice and civil during those days, and everyone would be less violent and better-mannered, and, did I mention that the OP was told by that poor girl that the girl thought the OP would have been a really wonderful slave owner?

No need - until you're called on it by a poster who has your number - to mention, after it's been brought up by others, that, sure, the girl is in trouble, sure, the kid needs help, sure, the girl is being bullied and harassed, but, hey, she pines for the chains of slavery and is sure that greenbriar would have been kind to her - maybe even letting her learn to read!!!

This is really one of the absolutely dumbest, worst OPs I've ever seen on DU, but, fortunately, the good folks of DU saw through it, and put the focus where it should be - on that girl and the help she should be getting........................

50. Your OP is so misguided and as a teacher, your lack of knowledge of the past is upsetting. Back when there was slavery, there was crime, debauchery, poverty, filth. There were no child labor laws. There was cursing and incivility and intolerance. Our country was born in violence and continued to be violent. The immoral genocide of Native Americans and of course slavery. The good old days really aren't the good old days when you draw back the curtain.

You were flattered about being called a "good" slave owner who would have risked everything to educate your slaves? Hmmmmm what would you have been risking? They would be your property, to do with what you wanted

All your OP pointed out to me is that the human race has not evolved and that because you were personally flattered by a sweet student, you had to let us know about that.

You missed an excellent teaching moment.

55. But, you see, greenbriar would have been, according to her story, a wonderful and benevolent and civilly-disobedient slave owner who would have, of course, taught her slaves to read and to write.

You see, she would have been one of those really, really good slave owners. The ones who don't get much publicity because, well, they just didn't have the right PR firms representing them.

The idea that someone taught this kid that slavery wasn't so bad is deeply disturbing, but I'm now convinced that the story is fiction, so I'm no longer troubled about a poor kid so troubled that she would embrace the life of a slave. ..................................

Someone who deserves the final word on the greenbriar primitive:

Quote
Which brings me, of course, to greenbriar, who has to win.  She's beyond the "idiot" designation, and would have to study to make it to the "cretin" category.  She's wrong about everything, lies about all if it, and then runs to the mods, whining that she's being picked on when people all land on her, telling her what an idiot she is.

I, of course, got warned because of her, but I never responded - just quite DU, and a few months after I left, another friend, who was still posting at DU, let me know that I'd been tombstoned.  No explanation given.   Obviously, greenbriar is their baby, the shamed plagiarist who clearly begged to be reinstated after being banned for plagiarism; ain't nothing like a Prodigal Son (or Prodigal Greenbriar) to make a nerdy bunch of mods and administrators feel superior.  They're so inferior in so many ways, it's got to be exciting when they have a chance to welcome greenbriar back into the fold.

Of course, I have learned that it is not permitted to mention that greenbriar is a liar and a thief and a plagiarist.  That's clearly not done. Once the sins are forgiven, it's like they never happened.   Too many years of Catholic school, maybe?

One wonders how Tangerine LaBamba knew the greenbriar primitive was going to win TOP PRIMITIVE OF 2009.

BTW- If her daughter is living with Grandma and has a new BF, did she ever really go to the Army?

I seem to remember, vaguely, a thread where some DUmmie was preparing a "special" meal for her hubby when he comes home and made it plain she expected to "get some".  :o  does anyone remember that thread?

So Pam Dawson has reached the pinnacle of DUmminess. The ultimate DUmp democrat. The standard of lunacy that other democrats can only hope to ever approach, soon to suffer untold abuse from her jealous fellow DUmbasses. You know, if she's from a democrat family, and if they had had amniocentesis technology before her birth, she would most certainly have been destroyed as a defective "clump of cells". This crowning achievement of her life would never have happened, and tonight bobbolink would be celebrating with a snifter of muscatel sitting on the dashboard.

If her daughter is living with Grandma and has a new BF, did she ever really go to the Army?

I seem to remember, vaguely, a thread where some DUmmie was preparing a "special" meal for her hubby when he comes home and made it plain she expected to "get some".  :o  does anyone remember that thread?

I dunno what happened with the daughter going into the Army; she had signed up when still in high school--the greenbriar primitive's husband gave her the permission--but perhaps her plans changed.  It's my understanding that that's an option--to opt out--if one's still pretty young when making the decision.

As for your second comment, yeah, that's in one of the links above.

Part of the master plan was to put this up when the primitives were getting ready to do New Year's Eve, and hence too busy to notice.

Their all stoned drunk at their Furry New Years Parties, Greenbriar is probably trying to get her hubby into bed for some recreation and the Rising Peanut Primitive is at the New Years Party hosted by the local postal workers union. Pitt is under the bar again, been there since yesterday though. Mythsage still hasn't finished the blockbuster timetraveling paranormal sex crime detective going rogue novel yet....

Thanks Frank and Ralph. What a outstanding job the both of you did in the collecting and arranging all of this. The dedication shows.

I am glad that you decided to put the slave thread in a separate listing. It deserves it.

I first noticed PamD when she posted about wanting to go to a church food give away program to get the free food, depriving it from the truly needy. She wanted it just because it was being given away and she felt entitled to it. I knew she was something special. I knew stardom was in her future and she didn't disappoint.

Mrs. Dawson, you are in a elite class, only shared by a select group. You should be proud.

No, she didn't.  That was truly a sorry spectacle.

I'm sure many people would like to earn what a teacher in the Wichita school district makes, let alone someone without the resources to help themselves.

MOre hungry people depending on food pantries while the food pantries are suffering loss of donation

For weeks now, while the national news reported fear and worry among Wall Street financial titans, a working mother of four named Darcy Fox was trying to stretch out her family's Ramen noodles and canned goods until her next trip to a charity food pantry.

"Thank God for food pantries," she said on Monday, holding her infant son.

But all over Wichita, while recent news has been dominated by worries from Wall Street, the leaders of Wichita's food charities have watched with growing fear as the number of people showing up for meals and food has set records.

"We're scared, to be quite honest with you," said Brian Walker, the director of the Kansas Food Bank. "We've never encountered numbers like what we are seeing, and we're having trouble sometimes putting together enough in the boxes to make full meals."

Aren't you gainfully employed as a teacher? I always thought a food pantry was for people who are out of a job or really struggling to use rather than being used as a discount grocery store. There has to be something you can cut from the budget to be able to afford food.

You're A Star
Lyrics: Bob Boyle / Music: b. Mossman

The curtain’s going up
So stand up straight
It’s time to shine
'Cuz you're so great

You’re a star! You’re a star! (2x)
Yeah! Yeah! You are a star!
Wow! Wow! You’re super special
Just the way you are

Some play sports
And others can sew
You’ve got your own thing
C’mon let it show

Some like science
And others do art
To find out what you’re good at
Just listen to your heart

You’re a star! You’re a star! (2x)
Yeah! Yeah! You are a star!
Wow! Wow! You’re super special
Just the way you are

Some can bake, some can sing
Some are good in a boxing ring
Some can surf, some can skate
Some can lift a lot of weight

Because we’re all good at something...

You’re a star! You’re a star! (2x)
Yeah! Yeah! You are a star!
Wow! Wow! You’re super special
Just the way you are

Yeah! Yeah! You are a star!

But, they also provide some advice for Pammy . . .

Don't Lie
Lyrics: Bob Boyle / Music: b. Mossman

Don't lie! Don't lie!
Don't you blame it on the other guy

Don't lie! Don't lie!
Don't you blame it on the other guy

When you do something wrong don't blame a friend
The truth will come out in the end

If you break your toy, don't say it was Earl
That's a lie! That's a lie!
If you do something bad, don't blame the squirrel
That's a lie! That's a lie!

Don't lie! Don't lie!
Don't you blame it on the other guy

If you drop your food don't blame a moose
That's a lie! That's a lie!
If you wreck your bike don't say it was Bruce
That's a lie! That's a lie!

If you ate the cheese don't blame the mouse
If you made a mess don't leave the house
When you spill your drink don't cover it up
And when you rip your pants don't blame the pup

Don't lie! Don't lie!
Don't you blame it on the other guy

Don't lie! Don't lie!
Don't you blame it on the other guy

If you did something bad don't disappear
Tell the truth for all to hear

Don't lie! Don't lie!
Don't you blame it on the other guy

Don't lie!

Not to mention her benevolent slave owner. I think in the darkest recesses of their little black hearts all dems are racists and homophobes. The biggest insult they think they can hurl at a conservative is they're gay. Turning one of their minority pets into a pejorative is pretty disgusting. Same with black people. If they can't be condescended to, the left doesn't want them. The sad thing is, most have gotten so used to it they don't even realize they're being treated like Greenbriar's "good white girl" plantation.

Anyway, she was the perfect pick for number 1...everything that's wrong with the left in one package...not to mention the best reason to homeschool I know (to think there are millions out there just like her should send chills up the spine of every parent with a kid in public school). I think she even managed to surpass Beth as the dumbest woman on the Internets.

Yeah.

It used to be that hardly anybody paid attention to the DUmping Ground, which is like the "reference section" at the library, while the DUmpster's "general circulation."

But since the TOP 10 PRIMITIVES OF 2009 have been put here, in addition to all the Tangerine LaBamba threads, traffic in the DUmping Ground has increased substantially, much of it being visitors.
