Is anyone else sick unto death of hearing the half dozen Senate Blue Dogs referred to as "moderate Democrats" in the MSM? I guess all 54 of the other Senate Dems are "liberals".

And, if Ben Nelson is a moderate, what the hell would it take for someone to be tagged "conservative Democrat"? A "Sarah Rocks" tattoo on each cheek of their posterior?

Oh, I dunno.

We here in Nebraska consider our senior U.S. Senator a liberal Democrat, but quite obviously despite that he's enormously popular because he tweaks the noses of the Democrat establishment that runs the White House, and Congress.

2. For someone who has shown he has his head up the butt of insurance companies, with getting that anti-trust amendment pulled, who in the world wants a traitor like him in the democratic party. It is too damn bad that we all can't kick him out we have to be from Nebraska.

Bwa bwa bwa.  You're not from Nebraska.

Tough shit.

6. I can count on one hand the senators I consider true liberals...and I'd probably have fingers to spare after giving everyone's voting record a good going-over.

7. They are Republicrats

While they may have a "D" next to their name, they are really just conservatives. In Canada, they would be in our conservative party.

8. Nah

I just upgraded my definition of 'asshole' to include the term 'moderate' when I hear it on the MSM.

9. They look moderate if you think far right lunatics are merely conservative

Unfortunately, our party has always been plagued by conservatives, first from Dixie in the form of "boll weevil Democrats" and now mainly from the midwest.

A pox on all their houses. I dearly hope their constituents catch a clue and kick them out during the primaries in favor of someone to the LEFT of Atilla the Hun.

You know, I never paid much attention.

Does the warped primitive hang around all bonfires on Skins's island?

It's odd, that just about every bonfire I've brought over here today (Sunday), it's included the warped primitive.

11. Yes! Nauseating attempts at thought control!

Control language and you can control thought. The Nazis knew this and I would expect it from them. But, from the American free press? Come. ON! What planet is this?

Yeah, yeah.

Like the primitives don't try to control the language.

Clearly they have never been elected to office but have been installed by the great oppressive force that exists to make DUmmies lives miserable.

Good God these fools are stupid.

I'd say the Nebraskans who support Sen. Nelson are as stupid as the Nebraskans who hired Bill Callahan. Sen. Nelson is one of the 60 votes that moved the socialized medicine bill to floor debate, and he's likely to be one of the 60 votes that shove it down our throats. "Moderate" democrats are no more admirable than "good" Nazi SS officers.

Something like that.

But remember, Ben Nelson wasn't elected by the people of Nebraska because of his left-wing ideology.

Ben Nelson was elected by the people of Nebraska because he reminds the Establishment (the Democrats in Washington) that Nebraska is, and Nebraska counts.

Sorry frank, but I still think he'll bend over and grab his ankles if Dingy Harry pulls his chain.

Yeah, sure, he probably will.

But the deal is, there's 57-58 other Democrats who'd bend over first.....and then last of all, Ben.

But he'll probably bend over sooner or later; one hopes, very badly, this drags out for a long time, for amusement if no other purpose.

From what I understand, Senator Joe Lieberman is adamantly opposed to the bill, but merely for the costs that would be foisted on the American people in the midst of a depression recession.  So, the Obamessiah's handlers are working on the Senators from Maine--Olympia Snowe, who said that the public option must be out of the bill; and my fellow alum Susan Collins (yes, she graduated from the same institution of higher learning that Martha MacCallum of FNC and I graduated from--several years earlier).

The thing is, on Hannity's radio program yesterday, Mitch McConnell said that the Republicans could have the bill read--all 2,000+ pages of it--every time an amendment is offered.  If that happens, this monstrosity will never get through, and our economy will be saved.
