Custom officials unwrapped a surprise Tuesday at the Port of LA/Long Beach -- 316,000 glass bongs disguised as Christmas ornaments.

The shipment's value was estimated at more than $2.6 million. The fake ornaments were hidden inside 860 boxes that arrived from China in a shipping container.

Agents said the items were decorated like Christmas ornaments. Before you get any ideas, consider these holiday gift options.

I ran across that one when looking for an image of the late Bella Abzug.

The problem was, only flattering images of the late Bella Abzug were in all "searches."

So I had to settle for this one.

Well, I was really bothered that when "image-searching" google, all they had were flattering photographs of Bella Abzug.

They didn't have any of those photographs that I recall from old news-magazines of the 1970s, which featured Bella Abzug in big floppy hats and a big floppy nose.

Those photographs used to be ubiquitous, found all over the place in the print media.

I'm starting to wonder if perhaps google has a bias, and keeps unflattering images of Bella Abzug off their site.

So I had to settle for what I could find, whatever it is I found.

Thanks, yeah one of the things Ive done on a semi-professional basis is songwriting - this is (Obviously) just a piss-take of the John Lennon song of the same name - took about 10 minutes to reconstruct the lyrics to my liking.  :-)

I can also crank out poetry the same way. Once I have a topic and a direction it can be done pretty much on command.
