Loungers...I have missed you ...was in the hospital for 5 days
I had pancreatitis
that is one painful thing to have
then some of the things the hospital did was even more painful
Potassium drip IV hurts like a mother****er
Arterial blood gas test OMG
I look like a pin cushion and am black and blue all up and down both arms
then even tho I am not a diabetic my blood sugers were all wacked out so every finger has been poked

3. I was NPO for 3 and 1/2 days
I couldn't even look at food
still really haven't gotten an appetite back
I eat because I have to
nothing tastes good or even sounds good
infact, everything smells and tastes like medicine
I am on the road to recovery but still weak and still in considerable pain

6. that burning sounds like what I went though with the potassium
the pancreas controls the insulin ect in your body so the illness played a part of the blood suger stuff but also I was NPO for so long and nothing but IV fluids so
the first labs showed my BSL at like 45 which is way low, so they gave me a sugar bolus something then it spiked really high so then after that it fluxuated back and forth finally the last day it was steady around the 95 levels...

Did anyone ask her what kind of insurance she had? Or did I pay for it :uhsure:
Did anyone ask her what kind of insurance she had? Or did I pay for it :uhsure:You can expect her very soon to be online bragging about the superior insurance she has. Some starving DUmmy deadbeat will start a thread about not being able to afford some type of medicine, and she will chime in to rub their noses in her affluence.

Do the DUmmies have no one but each other to confide in?
And the first thing you did was run to the DUmp to try and garner sympathy. :whatever:
Liar.
I miss them too sometimes.
Not to worry.
It's nothing that more time at the range won't fix.
The funniest thing about it is if you can remember the DUmp reaction
when Attorney General John Ashcroft was stricken with pancreatitis back
in 2004. Very different. The best one was when the Round Red Queer, himself
destined, a year or so later, to die from a pancreas-related illness, expressed his
hopes for Ashcroft's demise.
This is truly a DUmp classic.

Out of curiosity I clicked on AS's profile over there and it still shows him as a current member; one could send him a PM or add him to one's Buddy List. Seems a bit sick on Skin's part to leave up a departed person's profile.

Looking at the thread you linked. There's a priceless moment in irony in there."Karma" is a word DUmmies use to avoid acknowledging the wrath of God.
Speaking of Karma....
*snicker*

Jesus! another wuss! ::) That test does not hurt! :whatever:My personal experience is that drawing blood for arterial blood gas hurts like a son of a bitch. They stick a needle straight down into the center of your wrist, and it feels like they're scraping it around on a bone in there.
