Now, nobody can really be 100% consistent, because of the pressures of real life, so this is meant in the sense of usually, when does one come here?
This is helpful stuff to know, because of its effect on morale.
I notice a lot of people will post something in the DUmpster in the morning, and get disappointed because there's little or no reaction to what they've said (I don't know if this is true of the other forums here, though).
But if those who are disappointed by little or no reaction come to the DUmpster in mid-evening, for example, they see that, ooops, a lot of people did get involved.
This is because (at least in regards to the DUmpster) most traffic appears to come during the late afternoon and early evening.
And so those who post early should not lose heart; they should just post, sit back, relax, get mellow, with the confidence that their posts and comments will garner reactions later on in the day.
There are very few topics posted in the DUmpster that have "0" comments; reader reactions inevitably come. How fast they come depends upon the time of the day, but they do come.

I remember when I first found Conservative Underground, the place would go for hours without a post. I think there were maybe ten regularly active members at the time.

I just checked my own statistics; mostly here between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. central time, but also a significant amount between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. central time.
Past performance of course is no indicator of future performance.

You can find a handy-dandy little chart, folks, when you go to your profile and on the left-hand side of that page, click "check stats". It'll show a bar chart giving times you tend to spend here.

Mine must be wrong. It shows that I do a lot of posting from midnight to 2 AM...and I'm seriously almost never awake then. :lmao: I checked my "offset" time, it's right...
Hmmm..my grandson walks in his sleep...maybe I post in my sleep. If it's after midnight, I'm not responsible for anything I say. :rotf:

There's probably an answer to that, but I defer to the computer experts here who know more than I do, which is about 620 of the 625 members here.

I might check in to see if anything intersting happened in the morning (PT) and busy all day till evening time. I live on the West coast, and most people are off to bed or having a life when I am on. So that tends to suck, I'll come on the slowest time of the day. :(

I thought I was on more in the morning, but stats show afternoon and evening....but since I"m not really functioning until around 10am..... :whatever:
If I'm up early, and on the computer before 9, it's cause I'm needing to get reports submitted...no time for checking out fun stuff...

I thought the same thing because i'm always up early, but most of my activity is in the afternoon.
