We have a weird sense of humor at USMILNET. Had to after the raping we got at the liberal-ran Military.com. :-)
I wasn't a big mil.com poster and was never raped...I was just born weird

Maybe it's time for a proper intro. I'm a Coast Guard vet, a mod over at USMilnet, on most issues I'm about three steps to the right of center (five being over the cliff). Trying to be an impartial mod over at USMilnet I avoid talking about religion and politics (too much) over there; I plain don't talk religion, but some of my politics might come out over here.

HI vftb! What does vftb stand for? And what did you do in the CG?
I'll start with "what did you do in the CG" cause it leads into "vftb". I was a Quartermaster, in the Navy and the CG a Quartermaster is (or should be) "expert helmsman", practical navigator and (in the CG) signalman. As you can see, all of the stuff takes place on the bridge; therefore, vftb="view from the bridge". :-)
Grew up around the water (surfed all my life, well since I was eleven), love the water, got out of the Guard for all the wrong reasons. Here's a little venture I'm involved with now:(http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i138/vftb/IM001550.jpg)
Welcome to the Grace O'Malley (where's that f'n pirate smilie Rebel??).
Is there an engine?
QuoteIs there an engine?
Yeah, there's a little Perkins diesel to keep you out of trouble.
Some of the boats around us have things like that. I don't really need the tv (hell, I barley watch tv at home). I would like an internet connection though :banghead:
I'll be happy if it works on the dock. I'm an AT&T customer, but I think they have the same thing. Been meaning to check into it.
That dingy there in Point Loma?
Welcome to the site you old pirate.
Welcome, I don't know you. :-)
