ICE Shoots Projectile and Takes Out Kid’s Eye
Surgeons spent six hours removing shards of glass, plastic, and metal from his face. Unfortunately, the damage to his left eye was irreversible.
Second kid in the video, shot point-blank in the face.

A DUmmie I agree with. How much more savagery are we going to take? How many times should we allow a mob to swarm around us yelling filthy things, throwing things, and running up on us like they're going to do something, before we pull out our firearms and start laying waste to as many as we can?
There is no way in hell I'm going to let people run up on me like these cops are doing. God bless their patience, because I would be in fear for my life and I would draw my firearm and shoot. I'm not the spry young man I used to be and I'm not going to stand there and let petulent assholes knock me down where they can then do whatever they want to me. Nope. I'm going to shoot and I won't stop until I need to reload and see if there's anything left to shoot.

So, I DDGed "child loses eye ice". The only story (from two sources, one an obvious activist site) I found even somewhat resembling the BlueSky claim was:

* This person was a protester, not a random passerby;
* This person was/is part of an organized group;
* This person and fellow-members were actively attacking Federal officers who were protecting Federal property;
* This person was shot while running toward a melee (i.e. not hit while not moving by a precisely aimed shot);
* This person's age was not mentioned, though I suppose 20-somethings are occasionally referred to as "kids" (the equivocal term used in the DU post).

I feel bad that any person would suffer, but those are called consequences of actions. Don't rush a federal building and you won't be shot with anything.

Finally getting a few more details. 21 is a kid now, eh? At least when it helps gin up sympathy for "the cause", right?
The lemmings are letting the string pullers push them to martyrdom, for what? Cause Orange Man Bad? Because child molesters, drug dealers, murderers, drunk drivers and human traffickers are being removed from our country? Because they live in such a harsh dictatorship, they can protest and not get bagged up like is happening in Iran right now? The ignorance and self righteousness is going to tear down everything, and then these fools will see what real tyranny is when their beloved leaders swoop in to restore order with that boot stomping on the face of humanity, forever.

The stank demo isn't really serious because it only used one exclamation point.
As for the insurrectionist claiming to be protestors, I told my wife yesterday that the agents need to limit their warnings to just one or two and then arrest them for obstruction. I've seen them in video clips giving some of these clowns tons of warnings and the clowns keep doing what they were doing. I understand that the agents don't want to be called fascists, but the loons are going to call them fascist regardless. Hell, if word got out that Santa Claus voted (r) they'd be calling him fascist.

If you watch the video you can actually see him get shot. I had to watch it several times before I realized what was going on. It looks like the officer who shot him was 15'+ away from him.

He does look to be 10-15 feet away from the projectile "gun" when he was hit, and he had been moving prior to being shot. IOW, it was not an aimed shot. He was charging the Federal officers, carrying a bullhorn he might have been trying or have been about to try to damage the officers' hearing. He was playing a stupid game and won the Grand Stupid Prize.

I know from experience of playing Paintball while doing recruiting duty with the National Guard that getting hit with just one of those does hurt which is why they tell you to wear Eye protection. I got hit on top of my head and that really hurt. And also, how many years have LEO's used the less than lethal rounds to quell or stop protest/riots? I'm sorry that he got hurt like that but it's too late to fix an injury like that after the fact.

Then, on a very cold day, he got hit in the groin area, and by “groin area” I mean right in the bullseye. He said it left a purple bruised area about the size of a softball. I think he started wearing a cup after that.
I know a guy while we both were in the National Guard together who told me about the same thing about getting hit in the balls and how much it hurt. So yeah, I can see why anyone would wear a cup before or after getting wacked down there.
