What Trump has legitimatized
I had a meeting recently in deep deep East Texas.
One of the participants arrived and was in tears.
She is a young, successful professional black woman.
She was getting gas and some redneck backwash said "Get out of the way you ****ing ni#@#@er".

He has terrorized the country. I hope she can find her way back to see we are good people unlike those Trump followers.

2. Language and actions like that have no legitimacy.
By spewing his filth and lies non-stop what Trump has done is to embolden the racists and bigots to shed their pretense of decency to speak and act in their true nature. It is an open festering wound on the body politic now, but it will never be legitimate. That the M$M does not report and condemn these occurrences* is an indictment of the low state their greed has placed them in.
*maybe they're not reported because they don't happen?

It's been a few years since Ms. Ed the unappellated eohippus has been on Skins's island; she used to be there a lot. So perhaps many of the newer members here aren't acquainted with her.
Anyway, she has a long history, a long and sordid history, but an ancient one, of making up things, many of them simply preposterous. But even her saner-sounding tales aren't to be believed.

The primitives are constantly wondering why the average citizen doesn't embrace them and their ideology since they would tell you they care for everyone. I've never figured out how they can't connect why the things they say about suburban and rural people will never transfer to acceptance by them. They have this strange belief they can say vile and vicious things about the very people they'd like to recruit to their side and it won't matter.
