Title: Donald Trump Praises Rick Perry as Potential Ted Cruz Challenger
Post by: J P Sousa on September 01, 2016, 10:30:45 AM
Yeah, Hillary is a major wrecking ball for our country but Trump continues to give me MAJOR heartburn.

Donald seems to have trouble "uniting the party";

And the pledge ?

Quote
Donald Trump himself said back in March the GOP pledge was null and void. Why? Trump said, “I’ve been treated very unfairly” by the RNC. Big surprise there. The "fighter" is nothing but a big crybaby. If you don't recall him saying it, here is the video:

Why does Trump continue to throw mud at the very people he "NEEDS" to win this election ?????

Is he just a "big crybaby".

And the pledge ?

Why is it no one brings up Kasich and Cruz's responses to that same question, that same night?

Perry's been strongly supporting Trump, Cruz, of course, has not.  Seems like a pretty obvious outcome, considering that.

There's that, and . . . Didn't Perry get elected to three full terms as Governor of the great state of Texas?  Before that, wasn't he GWB's Lieutenant Governor?  It would seem to me that Perry has enjoyed more consistent support, for a longer period of time, than Cruz.  Plus there's the whole primary fight thing . . .

OK, you convinced me, Trump doesn't need Cruz' 7,762,811 voters (primary voters) or even a fraction of them.  :-)

Some of them--probably most, considering Mark Levin did this morning in a Townhall story--will come around. :whistling:

Duh, DAT!  Loyalty means something to folks like Mr. Trump, and obviously Mr. Perry, Mr. Jindal, et.al. engender  loyalty from a guy like Trump.
One of my sisters NEVER liked Trump and still LUUURVES Cruz, but is voting for the Donald because she's not so damn stupid as to vote Clinton or a third party candidate to negate the outcome.  Cruz and the rest are NOT PEOPLE OF HONOR.  Just shut the **** up and grit your teeth and HONOR YOUR ****ING WORD.
Damn hateful diehard idiots who want to torpedo the election for their own butt hurt pride.  I hate, loathe and detest Cruz but I would voters for him over the Anti-Christ.  WTF will all the ****tarded purist conservative holy than thou's do when the Supreme Court becomes this nation's arbitrators of every putrid liberal fantasy currently circulating?

That's because Perry has been in politics longer.  Perry was a lifelong Democrat before he suddenly made a Trump like switch in 1989.  He worked in Texas for the 1988 Gore Campaign.

He was the Ag Commissioner before he rose to Lt. Governor and then onto the Governor's mansion when W was elected President.  So he's a RINO...no wonder Donny likes him.

Cruz only stood for his first election to office in 2012.  And he beat the establishment candidate...and good friend of Perry...David Dewhurst.

This bunny boiling obsession Trump and his acolytes have with Cruz needs to stop.

Donny himself says he doesn't need Conservatives.  He's more interested in wooing Bern-bots.
