Does anyone have experience with payday loans?
My little brother is in a bad way. He needs some quick cash and is considering it. He doesn't have a computer and barely makes enough to survive.
I'd help him but I'm limited. I've looked them up online and unless you can pay back quickly, it mires down into a never ending, growing cycle of debt.
Anyone who has actually used one of these outfits?

Gofundme is the DUmmie way to beg for cash. Just admit the money is for you.

Nah, DUmmies would NEVER misrepresent the situation.

Sounds like a great plan there, DUmmie. If he's a Hitlery supporter, tell him to go for it. While you're at it, I also recommend he try ice-fishing in November to stretch out his budget.

13. I asked him about that (go fund me account)
He's a proud individual. Said he got himself into this, he'll get himself out. I have the same attitude.
And it isn't as though he's been irresponsible. Just an unexpected expense (brakes) that need attention and his job doesn't let him make enough to put into a "stash".
Thanks for the suggestion though
I hate it when my job doesn't let me do things.
At any rate, why not activate the DUer Backyard mechanic service, buy the pads and rotors and do the brakes themselves?
Oh, I know, they are DUmmies and car brakes, are like difficult man.

Went over and read the responses. These morons think they can tell us how to live our lives? Lesson one; Poor life choices lead to financial ruin.

His job doesn't force him to stay there either! Find another job.

I though Obungles was going to pay for peoples bills out of his stash?

The secret DUmmie is to take out way more than you need that way you have some left over to make the payments when the due dates arrive. You are welcome.

I just thought of something. Why are DUmmies always begging for money? I thought they are the smartest people on earth and know what is best for us? Plus, since this economy is so great how come they don't look to make more money at a new job? :whatever:

Where's the primitive that suggests using your bank overdraft protection, then open a new account at another bank and skip out on your old one?

Did someone actually suggest that?

I wish I could remember which one it was.

Or get one of those stock market guru methods that guarantees you 20 percent returns and invest in that.
Sucker born every minute and they all reside at the dump.

I've got a friend showing interest in penny stocks. It's amazing that people will ignore sound money advice for that big score

You don't know? In DUmmy World, you are FORCED into a job you hate and doesn't pay "enough" which then you need to protest to change the pay and rules you agreed to.
This, like signing for huge college loans for degrees in professions that pay nothing, is done AT THE POINT OF A GUN!!

I'll never understand DUmmy accounting.
"My brother makes 200 bucks a week and needs to borrow 400 until next payday. Is it a bad idea?"
Maybe we should introduce them to calculators?

Why do you hate calculators?

His paycheck should bigger with all the savings from Obamacare, about $2500 a year I thought.

It is all great until the market goes down. :cheersmate:
I get asked all the time about this method and that method. They prove their method works!!! Bullshit. I always tell people if their method was so damn great they would make money when the market goes down. Buy gold!!! Buy oil!!! Buy this and buy that!!!! If I was a speculator I would do the exact opposite of what I hear on the radio.
Tried and true... index funds for the long haul. Way I see it, if the index funds go to zero then it is time for the 3 G's: Guns, Gold and Grub. :-)

Very wise! I'm starting to play with etfs, kind of leaning towards vnq this month. So heavy in oil from the beginning of the year, thought I'd better diversify

I was always told that diversification is your friend. :cheersmate:
That and I used up all my luck when I was teenager so I tend to play it a little safer. :rotf:
I find it humorous that the dummies, those oh so superior intellect dummies, never seem to have two nickels to rub together and we knuckle dragging neaderthals never seem to have that problem.

Best investment advice I ever got, and still use today:
Never follow the herd.
When the rising market makes the evening news every night, SELL.
