We are trading in my Obama (clunker bonus) Cobalt, there go all my political bumper stickers :-(
Back in August 09 the Clunker program announced it was running out of $ after the weekend because it was so successful. So I traded in a very beat up 91 Caprice that was a spare for emergencies. We got a tax break & $3,500 under the program.
I have the 80% of the rear bumper covered. I'll try to grab a photo before it goes in.

I smell a gofundme page in the future. And why isn't the big guy, who is shuffling off this mortal coil... sometime, donating the car to a fellow dummie? They could use a functioning car far more than he can.To a poor black lives matter activist. That would assure he went straight up and got wings on the way ...
WTH is Obamaha Steve doing with a Cobalt? That's a SMALL car. Similar in size to a Cavalier, which I have trouble getting in and out of, and I'm not 300+ pounds and dying.
I bet it looks like a breech birth every time he exits it! :rotf:
I wonder if he had to have extra heavy duty suspension installed? :rotf:Only on one side! :rotf:
I bet that cobalt takes its sweet time going up a hill. :-)Good thing there's no BIG hills in Nebraska. If he lived in WV, he's be stuck in a "hollar" somewhere! :rotf:

You gotta be kidding me.
Now, I don't pay much attention to car models. Really, I don't. To me, a car's a car's a car's a car's and so on. It's just something one rides to get from one place to another.
And so I had to nadin "Cobalt," to find out what kind of car it is.
It's a subcompact.
How the Hell did the big guy ever fit into a subcompact?
The Big Guy has a new Toyota.
He bragged about abusing the salesman a couple of years ago
He probably makes Marta drive the shitty little Cobalt with the embarrassing bumper stickers.

2. The average MPG difference is now 10 MPG between the clunker
and the new car purchased. Great story. You got a really safe reliable new car and reduced your carbon footprint to boot.
Have a great day with Chevrolet.........

Fat sweat is a lubricant.
