Oh my. This, I gotta go brag about. For good reason too.....to damn cold for an outhouse. :-)
Nebraska's the state with the most homes with indoor plumbing.
Missouri - even if it's my adopted state - stubbornness.
Yeah, that, but according to the map, "Best Trails."
Kansas- we're not Missouri.
:fuelfire:
Like DAT, Missouri's my adopted state though I've been here not quite 8 years - a relatively short time.
One thing I've not quite understood is this MO/KS thing - yeah, I know it goes back to the Civil War and prolly before then, but Jeezus, guys, it's pretty much a fictitious line in the sand. Nobody takes that shit seriously any more.
Right? :rotf:
I don't, but I'm originally from Nebraska, and lived in Missouri for 13 years before I moved to Kansas. There are good and bad things about each state, and on the whole I prefer Kansas to Missouri.
California, agricultural products, especially fruits and nuts.
Actually, we do produce a lot of food, dairy, & wine; Hollyweird; Silicon Valley.
:lmao: "Most Breastfed Babies" :lmao:
Not touching that line with a 10-foot German! (Nor will I pick on the Poles!)
Salinas Valley is, I am pretty sure, still the Onion Capital of the World.
California out-produces not only every state in the Union but in some products all of them combined.
Including grain and potatoes.
Mine, S.C., is most polite......but I would consider moving to north Dakota. :naughty:

Oh yeah, and the Eagles (Philly, I know) because I'm a masochist!
Pennsylvania is Alabama without the blacks.:thatsright:
~ James Carville
Kyle Weaver, the NRA's Executive Director for General Operations. Weaver said. The NRA has more members in Pennsylvania than any other state.:cheersmate:
Iowa, famous for...CORN.
But we are also the biggest producer of pork in the world.
On March 24, 1949, State Rep. Frank P. Johnson of Kewanee introduced House Resolution 40 on the floor of the 66th Illinois General Assembly declaring Kewanee and Henry County to be the “Hog Capital of the World†after being designated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as leading the nation in hog production. The resolution passed on a unanimous vote.
What is your state most famous for?
JohnnyRebIowans are most famous for...spelling. All the best Grammar Nazis come from Iowa too.
What is your staste most famous for?

Staste...A state that tastes good.
Don't be jealous that his state tastes better.
Everything. :texas:Heh, and it's bigger, too. :yahoo:
I couldn't swear to it, but I'd say there are probably fewer liberals in KS. St. Louis is choked with them, and Columbia - fuggedaboudit. It's a veritable libfest there all the time. :p
I'll always consider myself to be a Missourian, but admit to really liking Kansas, very nice people there. Plus I like the more conservative nature of Kansas.
One thing I've learned since living in Florida, the Missouri/St Louis libs aren't quite as in your face as the East Coast transplants living in Florida. I've run into some really obnoxious ones here.
Sadly one thing Missouri is now famous for is Ferguson. What a crock. It's a tiny little burb that got caught up in the libtard's targeting. Guess you can call me a glutton for punishment (and cold weather) but we're returning to live part time in Missouri. Those grandkids are just too young, cute and sweet, couldn't resist. SR loves Florida, so we compromised with a half and half solution.
I've lived my entire life in a burb of Philadelphia.
When I joined the Marines, I had the opportunity to visit the entire East coast from Florida to Maine. In my opinion, the farther North I went the more rude people became. :-)
.
Me too which is essentially what South Jersey is. Do you rent down the shore?
On occasion if we can find something reasonable. Last summer we stayed in Sea Isle in a beach front condo. The owner normally charges $7,000 per week but we found it last minute and he gave us a break.
A top hotel in NYC charges that much for a suite per week. :thatsright:
Oh, and I forgot, WE DON'T PUMP GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is HUGH!!
