.....but then there may be some middle ground. We could mount a used 16" gun off an old battleship and shoot porkskins at'em.

American crew members aboard a U.S.-flagged ship have regained control of the vessel hijacked by pirates off the coast of Somalia Wednesday, FOX News confirms.

I just hope that one of the warships in that area steams to that cargo ship and provides some escort protection...I imagine that the Pirates might try another run at the Alabama since they don't take to well to having to steal a ship twice.

I haven't heard an update, but I popped over to Foxnation.com to see what people were saying.  They are so proud, and needed a lift after Zero trashtalked us in Europe.  They're thinking of the 9/11 PA flight, as well.  215 comments so far, only about 2 trolls attempting to go in there.  One said "Why don't you just call bush who is sitting around his ranch with the billions he stoll from madoff."   :lmao:

warship is hours away...Fox is covering it...also are going to be using 'air assets' that will be their first...the pirates boat sank, they are on a dingy and have the captain of the ship hostage.

The President needs to tell the pirates that they need to release every ship they have within 12 hours or we will put a 3 round salvo from some of those 16" guns right in that Somali  town that they are based out of. If they don't send another 3 rounds every hour until they do or some cruise missiles.

I will probably talk out of turn here and I will promptly apologize if I have leapt to an erroneous conclusion. We know that there have been hundreds of cases of piracy along that seaway. That a US ship can be attacked and a shipmate taken hostage without several little pirate corpses floating in the sea is truly embarassing.

I was watching Glenn Beck earlier and someone said on his show that they can't shoot at someone who is BOARDING the ship unless they are fired upon first.  WTF is wrong with our government?
