The MSM have systematically pretzellated and lied about things Trump said since at least July 2015, and DU-folks' Hate-Trump credulity exceeds the capacity of all existing measurement instruments.
The show I often listen to during my AM commute (Armstrong & Getty) played a partial clip of Trump's comment. They didn't give the context into which it fit, but Trump was grossly-obviously (to anyone willing to acknowledge it) speaking sarcastically. Like I posted above, the MSM are continuously pretzellating and lying about what Trump said and meant.
