I was born and I will die in Texas.  I live in Bullshirt.  It's what use to be called "out in the country" east of Dallas.  My little hamlet has five streets and Hwy.80 and I-20 off in the distance.  I live in Houston once - started first grade there.  I lived in Lakeway (Austin) for a while.  I once lived in Corsicana.

I have been  to every state in the union except Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii.  I want to retire and expire on South Padre Island.

You know, we can enable the gender selection button in profiles if you guys and gals would like.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Born in Iowa, raised in NE Wisconsin.
I spent time in South Carolina, Philadelphia, and Jacksonville, FL in the Navy.  After getting out and finishing school, spent 4 years in Orlando, FL.
Now live in WI again inthe middle of nowhere a ways east of Lambeau Field on the Big Pond (Lake Michigan)

Really liked it in SC and FLA, but my family's up here, and I love them.

Born- Tacoma, Washington (McChord Air Force Base) -7 years- *Beautiful country

Lived in- Altus, Oklahoma (Altus AFB, lol) -6 years- *Fine place to be a kid, good people

Lived in- Dayton, Ohio (WPAFB) -16 years- (5 w/parents) *Swell All-American town

Also spent some years in Columbus Ohio (school) and currently live in Cincinnati (work) -almost 3 years-

Parents and both brothers have all moved to Indiana (where most of my "clan" started, so to speak) starting with the parents about 9 years ago and little brother 3 years ago. Dayton, Ohio is "home-ish", Christmas tends to be where the folks are so there's a little Hoosier in me. I'd like to go back to the Great Northwest and give it a shot round them parts. I want to retire (long, long time from now) on the coast (rather "a" coast) and I'm thinking it's either Seattle or somewhere on the Atlantic coast. (between Baltimore at the Northernmost and Jacksonville, FL at the Southernmost)

and now you know more than you ever cared to.  :-) :p
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."
