No news about the passengers and crew yet but I wouldn't put it past them to blame Israel event though the weather was not the best to be flying in.

Drafe Hoblin:
Bye-bye, 'death to america' moron.

Iranians are celebrating while they can.

The crash-site is besieged by a blizzard and it looks like some bears are attacking some of the rescuers.

Airwolf:
It looks like three of their big guys were taken out in that crash. I wonder what kind of an idiot pilot takes off and flies into bad weather. Well, there that threat of getting shot if the Big Kahuna doesn't get home to his goats and gravy before 6:00.

Iranian women celebrate death of President Ebrahim Raisi, who led brutal crackdown on rights

--- Quote ---Scores of Iranian women posted videos of themselves celebrating the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Monday — openly dancing on his “dirty grave” after he oversaw a brutal crackdown on 2022 protests against the Islamic “morality police.”

Raisi, a reviled leader known as the “Butcher of Tehran,” died when his helicopter crashed in a remote region of the country Sunday.

While the Islamic Republic’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, announced five days of public mourning in the wake of the 63-year-old’s death, a slew of women took to social media to share clips of themselves throwing back drinks and otherwise cheering his demise.

“We freely dance and celebrate on your dirty grave,” one woman, Mersedeh Shahinkar, tweeted.

Ebrahim Raisi's death is not widely mourned in Iran. He killed many people following the death of Mahsa Amin.
