Up a dime a gallon in the last week.  Local places are at least $3.479 now.

I am waiting for Obummer to raise the Fed. excise tax on fuel. He wants prices to be in the mid 4 to 5 dollar range to encourage people to buy those electric cars.

I love my truck, but I don't love the cost of filling it up.

Topped off the tank last night (had about 1/4 or so.)  90 bucks to fill it up.  A tank'll last me a week or so, if I don't do too much running around town this weekend.

Now $3.85. 

I was told by somebody who hauls fuel for the area that there was some sort of shortage up in MN that caused our prices around here to spike, as a portion of our supply was diverted to MN. 

Judging from the colors on the Gasbuddy map, MN gas is really costly at the moment.
