Nadin to Human Translation Needed!
« on: April 10, 2012, 09:51:18 PM »
Any clues as to what this all means?  :???: :???: :???:

Ah lovely
Today at Council we had a group come begging to keep their facility...

Simple story right? A kitty died, since I decided to dig...surprise surprise, it is not that simple. It might be part, lucky us, of the current increased ahem tensions.

Lucky tv reporters, to a point...get your tape, get your interview...what background?

Ah yes, sent questions, but if you never want to find out what really is involved, don't dig.

In related nooz...water is wet.

By the way, after reading a 300+ master development plan, I am sleepy. Those things are all but exiting, ever.

I'll send you ten bucks, U.S. currency, if you can translate any two consecutive sentences the Great White Whale writes.  Not the meaning of each of the two individual sentences, but whatever they together mean.

As much as I could use ten bucks, I couldn't put my brain through that kind of a sieve.  Is there any context for this?  Does she have a job downtown?  Does she complain a lot to the city council?

I have absolutely no friggin idea what she is babbling about.

The Nad's to normal translator is inop.

Actually, her last post fried the damn thing and it might not be repairable.

I suspect the answer lies somewhere in here-

http://granicus.sandiego.gov/TranscriptViewer.php?view_id=3&clip_id=5243

The transcript goes on forever.  It will take some work to find the specific issue.  I tried both "facility" and "cat" but it didn't help.

It appears they're discussing a bit of CYA for past wrong doings. To the tune of $144M.

Quote
I'm here to raise an issue that
is a logical extension of something this council has
already done, and it did this in recognition of kind of a dark
day, a dark period in the city's
history when the redevelopment money that came from the federal
government that was intended to alleviate poverty, homelessness,
things like that, went to things
like the naval training center.

Hud caught the city and did an
audit and found that there was a lot of money, tens of millions
of dollars, involved. You each have a copy of this audit. You have seen it over the months and years.

Quote
so that amount of interest I

calculate as at least $144 million.

So although this resulted from

evil doing, it can be, it seems to me, quite a benefit for the

city to assert this legal position.

9. World beat center

As to redevelopment, take a guess who's back serving the city at the pleasure of the mayor? Michael Zuchett, yup THAT Zucchett...

It has a strange echo to this story, while completely unrelated. Will have to go do some digging in the morning at Balboa...

I went to Council for something completely unrelated that was tabled...oy.

I am starting to kind of understand her post.  But I still don't get the dead kitty reference, I'm thinking that she means "kitty" in the terms of a pool of money, and the World Beat Center has wasted a lot of it over the years.

Suffice it to say, Michael Zucchet (she misspells his last name twice) is and always has been a Democrat.

Last time I took my kids to Balboa Park, there were hypodermic needles in the sand at the childrens playground (about 50 ft from the World Beat Center), and a really aggressive homeless guy yelled curses at us.  The place is a dump and the city has been throwing millions of dollars at it for years.

Good Lord she is an annoying, condescending twat:

11. I am not putting much detail on purpose

Need to go dig. Suffice it to say I went for simple, even procedural, vote on road project. Bonus points, a clinic system for the less well to do in town. I got something completely unrelated that may have to do with that scab we all have been enjoying (racism). Tomorrow will go ask some questions and send a few emails after I get a lot more info.

I could do the tv act. Get a quick and dirty interview...leave it at that. But there is more to the story.

It is very local, but I fear it's part of the national pattern.

Yup, race relations and civil rights are back, if they ever went.

Beer and travel money...more like cue twilight zone theme and Rod Sterling. This one could be Lemon Grove, and Mexican Kids in the 1930s. Yup, it is another minority, but the pattern was oh so familiar.

If you really want available dots send me a pm..story is far, and I mean this, far less than even close to anything that makes complete sense.

Oh and original items...why I was there...were tabled.

I think Needin'-a-Brewski, Cub Reporter, attends the city council meetins as part of her self-assigned reportage portfolio, 'working the city beat.'

While I have no interest in burning the time and brain cells necessary to decrypt her writing, the task is doubly hard because her misspellings often fortuitously coincide with other real words (Due to automatic spell check, and her poor decisions in applying it), which become especially difficult to spot due to her uneven English word choices elsewhere in the sentence.  This little sentence is a particular gem in that category, following an unusually-decipherable sentence where she says she has just read the city's 300-plus-page Master Development Plan and is sleepy as a result:  "Those things are all but exiting, ever." - which, if written by a native speaker who could spell tolerably, would be "These things are anything but exciting, without fail."

I get the idea we have put way too much into this.  It's the fact that her ramblings seem to refer to something that make us follow the breadcrumbs.  Then we find ourselves in a forest with no pathways in any direction.

She did it again.
It's amazing how she looks this stuff up on the google and then seconds later misspells it.

She needs to sign up for that class her fellow San Diegan, the brain-dead DUmmy kpete, teaches on how to copy-and-paste.

Oh wait...nutcase nadin is a mestizo. She'll need a housekeeper pass to get into kpete's neighborhood.
