Federal Agents Told To Reduce Border Arrests...of future undocumented democrat voters. Obama says we're going to need them in 2012.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

I am glad these two Sheriffs are standing up to the pressure and exposing these frauds in the gov't.  Sheriff Arpaio does the same, yet he is continuously vilified for upholding the law.  Pima County Sheriff Dupnik is just the opposite and very liberal.

Critics call for AZ sheriff to resign, be indicted

Critics of America's self-proclaimed toughest sheriff on Wednesday called for his resignation and for the federal government to indict him and take control of his office amid allegations of corruption, racial profiling, and misspending.

The call for action comes after a recent investigation revealed evidence of corruption among Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's top commanders >>> Asked whether he would resign, Arpaio - widely known for his department's crime and immigration sweeps - told The Associated Press: "Never."

"I have no fear about what these people want," he said. "I think we've done a pretty good job in the sheriff's office. There's always bumps in the road sometimes, but when they come about I take immediate action." >>> Arpaio >>> is responsible for 15,000 employees and delegated a lot of responsibilities.

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said he found no evidence that Arpaio knew what was going on among his command staff and placed much of the blame on Hendershott.

A federal grand jury also is investigating Arpaio over abuse-of-power allegations, and the U.S. Justice Department is conducting a civil rights investigation of Arpaio's office and examining jail policies that discriminate against people with limited English skills. >>>

The group of activists calling for Arpaio's resignation also pointed to recently released emails that showed top deputies forwarded offensive jokes to each other >>> making fun of Spanish accents, while another officer circulated a photo of a mock driver's license for a fictional state called "Mexifornia." >>>

In addition to calling on the federal government to file charges against Arpaio, the group of activists said they want the sheriff's office placed into receivership and for the federal government to assume control over it.

They started this witch hunt late in 2009. How dare he do the job he was hired to do. /s - You do know that having a spine and displaying personal integrity goes counter to "The Chicago Way" and therein lies the problem.

“We do not know who’s crossing that border, but that anyone who wants to can. That’s the message our nation needs to hear, that anyone who wants to can, and is. And our own Department of Homeland Security does not have clear definition of what securing the border even means," Dever said.

“People are disgusted, the smiles are gone off their face, their general sense of welfare been taken away from them and until that’s returned you can throw all the numbers on the board. … I’ll tell Napolitano, in spite of all of your declarations and efforts to the contrary, things are not safe. No, they are not secure.

“You can use your numbers to say it’s more secure, but it does not define a sense of safety or well-being. You can say it’s more secure, but it’s more dangerous than ever.”

Atta boy, Larry! :yahoo: So glad you're my sheriff and not that Dumpdik character out of Tucson. :bird:

This is such ****ing bullshit (Not the story, the Obama/Holder DOJ's conduct).  The DOJ hasn't been used as a political tool this way since Bobby Kennedy, one of the darkest blots on its integrity in its whole history.  This shit has got to stop.
