Oh my.

It's a legitimate question, but the Bostonian beanie primitive's the wrong one to ask it; she shouldn't be bothering her pretty little head about such issues, instead concentrating on her son, who's always attracting the attention of the local police.

What can society do the make it less acceptable to beat your wife or girlfriend?

Is there anything that can be done. Do we continue to blame women who stay in these relationships for a multitude of reasons where the root of that decision is based upon their abuse?

The questions people ought to be asking are this:

What makes so many men violent toward women? - 1 in 4 women face domestic abuse
Why aren't punishments harsher for the offender? - so many women are killed trying to leave
What can society do to make this less acceptable? - we can stop blaming the victim, no?

Because asking the question, "why did she stay with him", makes it about the victim and essentially places the blame there.

Please stop making it about her and focus your attention where it belongs. On the abuser.

Lots of blah-blah-blah, and then this:

9. Encourage victims not to defend

Their abuser and rationalize/justify his crimes.

What makes so many men violent toward women? - 1 in 4 women face domestic abuse are naggers.
Why aren't punishments harsher for the offender? - so many women are killed trying to leave. teach them to drive safely
What can society do to make this less acceptable? - we can stop blaming the victim, no? No, you will always blame the man.

Teach DUmmie wymins to be a little more pleasant to live with rather than bitter, man hating, raging moonbats.

NO JOKING....I've seen a few women in my time that seem to think that if there isn't a lot of drama and wife beating involved in their relationship, the man doesn't care about them.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Victims are part of the dynamic, and a lot of them stay for motives that boil down to mercenarism, which I suspect has a whole lot to do with the new Mrs. Rice, but to the MSWs and feminazis you're 'Blaming the victim' if you're honest about that.

I rowed over to Skins' Island and read the thread. What a bunch of feel-good, plastic-banana, kum-bah-yah bullshit. In other words, exactly what I expected.

Listen up, lurking DUmmies, 'cuz I'm only gonna tell you once. The judicious application of violence has solved many more problems than hand-holding and chanting ever did. Stop expecting the government to bubble wrap each of us and protect us from harm. It won't happen, because it can't happen.

DUmmythought, including the delusion that there is a "society" as sentient, controlling, yet malleable meta-organism greater than the individual, is Lovecraftian madness. A creature such as you imagine does not exist.

The way to make it "less acceptable" to commit violence against anyone (not just wives or girlfriends), is for people to value themselves enough to fight for their own survival and safety, and for other members of society (using the proper application of the word) to respect everyone who protects himself/herself from harm.

Hyenas hunt lambs, not Lions and Lionesses. Grow some ****ing fangs, lurking DUmmies. Are you ready for that paradigm shift?
