Andrea Mears, 23, is accused of assaulting Austin Haughwout on May 12 after she noticed Haughwout was flying a quad copter with a camera attached over the Middle Beach at Hammonasset in Madison.

Haughwout captured the alleged assault on video using his phone.

The "drone" or quadcopter was flown over public space where expectation of privacy is less. Had Austin Haughwout fought back, he would be charged since the attack is a woman, Andrea Mears.

Andrea Mears is crazy. I wonder what her DU name is. :mental:

This is one of the people we warn our kids about, they look like normal people but have no sense in anyone doing something legal that they do not approve of.

What was her threat , was she a look out for a drug delivery or some other crime she was afraid would be filmed, a B&E  or a field of pot ???
