DUmmy cali Is In Love
« on: May 31, 2014, 12:05:51 PM »
Since wallduding herself into permanent unemployment, breaking her leg in a drunken fall, and developing an addiction to pain pills, DUmmy cali has been chasing the democrat Holy Grail - SSDI.

Now a breakthrough, as Eva gets a steroid shot:

I think I love steroids now.

I had a cortisone shot in my left ankle joint on Tuesday. Maybe it's just the local anaesthetic that lasts a few days, but I am suffering less pain than I have in 2.5 years. I feel like one of those people who get a "miracle" cure in church and throw away their crutches. (OK, I can't really throw away my cane, but the relief is so great). I still have the burning pain and other pain from my Complex Regional Pain Syndrome 2, but the pain from the "moderately severe", traumatic arthritis in my ankle and the "massive" soft tissue damage, is markedly lessened.

It's great. I really, really hope it lasts a couple of months.

4. double crush. sounds yummy, right?

means that i have a damaged nerve in my neck, then the far end of that nerve started getting squeezed by carpal tunnel.

this being me, this only gets sorted out after it goes insane.
got a shot in the neck in feb, and got one in the wrist yesterday.
miracle shit.

got a twisted up shoulder, so nothing is gonna get completely happy here.
but they said that if i got relief from the shot, i would likely get relief from surgery. i'd still have a parasthesia in my finger, but at least it would stop lighting up my whole damn arm.

rear guard actions, tho, i tell ya.
It's been claimed that she has every ailment known, including even an enlarged prostate.

7. man!! i got my damn right arm back.

a shot in the wrist and months and months of agony go POOOOOOOF!!!

still think we need to track down the other "crush" of this double crush, but at least we have proof that i am not nuts.
and that surgery would be very helpful.

yeah for evidence based medicine!!

9. havent been this happy since my disk fusion

waking up with everything working, and that pain gone was right on up there with stuff i will never forget.

DUmmies often find relief from injections. In Taverner Kregel's case, it's three or four times a day.

True, but he doesn't need a doctor or a prescription for his, just cash.
